5 Editors Review Skims, Kim Kardashian’s New Shapewear

As you probably know, Skims is Kim Kardashian’s brand of shapewear. The line includes bodysuits, shorts, bras, bralettes, push-up bras, and more. The prices start at $18 and cap out at $98, and the sizes range from XXS to 5XL. Now that we have the basics out of the way, it’s time for the real test: What do real women think of it? Well, I got my hands on the items and tasked four of my co-workers with trying them out and reporting back with their thoughts.

Before we get to our reviews, here’s how Skims describes the impetus behind the brand on its website: “Searching for the best shapewear and underwear over the years, Kim became frustrated with the lack of options available and couldn’t find anything that offered the right support, coverage or shade,” the site reads. “This led her to cut up and dye pieces at home, sewing them together to get the solutions and results she wanted. Skims is Kim’s answer to shapewear that actually works. Designed to smooth, enhance, lift, and tone—each piece has a solution for every body.” Scroll down to see what five Who What Wear staffers thought of the items.

Kim Kardashian look-alike on Drake’s latest cover art revealed

Yes indeed, that was just a Kim Kardashian look-alike.

Drake sent Twitter into a frenzy Thursday after releasing the cover art for his latest single, “Search & Rescue,” which seemingly features an image of him and the “Kardashians” star in matching motorcycle helmets.

However, TMZ confirmed Friday that the mystery woman was actually an artist named Lilah, who just so happens to bare a striking resemblance to the reality TV star.

Although it seemed unlikely that Kardashian would pose with ex-husband Kanye West’s frenemy, Drake did sample her voice in the song.

Fans previously suspected it was Kim Kardashian given the fact Drake used an audio clip of her in the song.
Instagram/@champagnepapi

In fact, Drake savagely used a clip of Kardashian speaking about her divorce from West on the 2021 series finale of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” the reality star, 42, said in the audio.

Many people noticed the pair’s striking similarities.

Around that same time, West accused Drake of acting like he had hooked up with his now ex-wife — which she denied.

“It’s like somebody throwing a marble and hiding their hand,” West added on “Drink Champs” at the time.

Drake’s decision to reignite the feud shocked many fans given the fact the pair seemed to bury the hatchet in November 2021.

Fans suspected that Drake used a Kardashian look-alike to upset rival Kanye West.
Instagram/@lilahpi

At the time, West posted a photo with Drake alongside music executive J. Prince in Toronto. He captioned the post with a “dove” emoji to emphasize the peace made between them.

However, on Drizzy’s newest album, “Her Loss,” the rapper inferred that the meeting meant nothing to him.

“Linking with the opps, b—h, I did that s—t for J. Prince,” he rapped on the track “Circo Loco.”

Drake and West have beefed for years amid rumors the “Nice For What” rapper slept with Kardashian.

To which West seemingly replied in a since-deleted tweet last year.

“Enough already I done gave this man his flowers multiple times. Let’s really see who [our] real opps are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each other’s contracts. It’s kingdom time. Love Drake,” Ye wrote.

Meanwhile, Drake’s father, Dennis, has tried to reassure fans that “it’s just a song” and his son is “not trolling” West.

Jennifer Aniston channels Kim Kardashian’s Marilyn Monroe Met Gala look

The Marilyn moments won’t stop coming.

Jennifer Aniston emulated Marilyn Monroe’s iconic “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” dress — and Kim Kardashian’s 2022 Met Gala outfit — when she attended a photo call in Paris for her new movie, Murder Mystery 2, last night.

The “Friends” actress, 54, brought back memories of the Hollywood blonde’s gown when she posed on the red carpet in a flesh-colored dress covered in sparkling crystals, with the look coordinating with the golden lights shining on the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Aniston covered up with a white fur stole, just like Kardashian and Monroe.

Aniston’s version of the dress featured spaghetti straps and a longer hem as compared to the thicker straps and slim silhouette of the Monroe gown Kardashian borrowed for the Met Gala.

Just like Kardashian — who caused controversy when she donned Monroe’s actual historic gown — Aniston added a white fur draped around her arms as she bundled up along the Seine.

The “Morning Show” star wore her hair in her usual straight style and kept her jewelry simple, accessorizing with a gold bracelet and several gold rings.

Aniston stars with Adam Sandler in the upcoming flick, which premieres March 31.

She sported a pale pink manicure and a contrasting maroon pedicure that peeked out from her strappy gold heels.

Aniston joined her Netflix co-stars Adam Sandler, Mélanie Laurent, Dany Boon, Jeremy Garelick and Kuhoo Verm to pose for some on-theme photos in front of the Eiffel Tower, as the upcoming movie is set in Paris.

The “Break-Up” actress isn’t the only star to channel Monroe with her recent look.

Ana de Armas — who played the Hollywood legend in “Blonde” — wore two Marilyn-inspired outfits for the 2023 Oscars, sporting back-to-back sparkling nude dresses for a pre-party and the awards themselves.

Along with the similarities to Monroe’s gown, one fan pointed out on Twitter that Aniston’s frock was actually similar to one her character, Rachel Green, wore on a 1996 episode of “Friends.”

It seems like a nude dress never goes out of style.

Maralee Nichols shares new pic of her and Tristan Thompson’s son

No child left behind.

Maralee Nichols shared a photo of herself and Tristan Thompson’s son, Theo, after Khloé Kardashian posted a snap of the NBA star with his other three kids.

The fitness model posted a sweet selfie of herself holding her 1-year-old in her arms on her Instagram Stories Monday, approximately six hours after Kardashian’s tribute in honor of Thompson’s 32nd birthday.

In the Good American founder’s snap, the former Chicago Bulls star sat with his newborn son and daughter True, 4, whom he shares with Kardashian, and his oldest son Prince, 6, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig.

Along with the picture, Kardashian, 38, penned a sweet message to her “baby daddy” to commemorate his special day.

“Happy birthday @realtristan13,” she captioned the post. “You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles.”

The “Kardashians” star then subtly shaded her on-again, off-again ex by saying that she wishes that he will “continue to crave change, healing, and transformation.”

Nichols’ post came hours after the Good American founder shared hers.

The mom of two concluded, “Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”

Though Kardashian turned off the comments section of her post, that didn’t stop fans from taking to Twitter to discuss how the reality star left one of his children out of the photo.

“Khloe Kardashian had to turn her comments off after she was dragged for this birthday post for Tristan ‘Third Trimester’ Thompson. How the hell he a great father when Maralee baby not there,” tweeted one fan.

“You really can’t say that someone’s the best father if they’re not taking care of all their kids?!?! @khloekardashian One of Tristan’s kids is missing from the photo no?!?!” added another.

“Khloe will never be able to convince me Tristan is a ‘great father’ so long as he continues to not claim poor baby Theo,” wrote a third user.

Nichols gave birth to her baby boy in December 2021, just one month after Kardashian conceived her and Thompson’s second baby via surrogate.

The former Boston Celtics player previously denied being Theo’s father, but in January 2022 took to Instagram to confirm his paternity.

The NBA star previously denied being the father of Theo.

Thompson has since agreed to pay Nichols $10,000 per month in child support.
Instagram/@khloekardashian

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote at the time. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”

Thompson also issued an apology to Kardashian, who was dating the athlete when Theo was conceived.

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he continued. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”

Thompson has since agreed to pay Nichols $10,000 per month in child support. However, a source told Page Six last summer that he has yet to bond with his baby boy.

North West imitates her mom Kim Kardashian in new TikTok video

Her mommy has so many talents she can’t even begin to name them.

In a new TikTok video, Kim Kardashian’s eldest daughter, North West, 9, imitated her mom while making homemade pasta with a friend.

On their joint mom and daughter TikTok account, @kimandnorth, the little girl revealed that her mom “hates” crumbs, especially if any get into her bed.

“My mom hates to have this in bed,” West said as she kneaded the crumbly homemade pasta dough in the third part of the four-part TikTok series and jokingly sprinkled some over her head.

“She’d be like, ‘Oh my gosh, you put this crumby crumby crumbs in my bed, you can’t sleep in my bed!’” West imitated, using a funny voice filter.

West then explained that she would say that she didn’t even want to sleep in her mom’s bed anyway.

West announced that her mom, Kim Kardashian, does not like getting crumbs in her bed.

“So, she doesn’t like crumbs in her bed,” she concluded of her mom.

West’s father is rapper Kanye West, who married Kardashian in 2014. Kardashian filed for divorce from the “All Falls Down” singer in 2021 after seven years of marriage, and their split was finalized last November. West has already moved on, “marrying” Yeezy designer Bianca Censori in a non-legal ceremony last month.

West was ordered to pay Kardashian $200,000 per month in child support, according to the divorce filing obtained by The Post.

Kardashian and West share four kids together — North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 3.

On the mom and daughter’s joint TikTok account, the two often recreate viral video trends together.

On Kim and North’s joint TikTok account, the two often make funny videos together, including ones of them doing viral dances together and other popular trends on the app, like when West dressed up as her father and the two sang to his song, “Bound 2.”

During a December 2022 appearance on the “Angie Martinez IRL” podcast, Kardashian spoke more about co-parenting with the designer and admitted that she often “protected him” for the sake of her children.

“I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids for my kids,” she said at the time. “In my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on in the outside world … I’m holding on by a thread.”

“I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that,” Kardashian said of her late father, Robert Kardashian. “That’s what I would want for them. If they don’t know the things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That’s really heavy grown-up s–t that they’re not ready to deal with.”

In the past, West has been known to make headlines for his social media posts. In December, the singer wrote a series of harmful anti-semitic tweets that were later removed from the platform. Twitter owner Elon Musk also suspended his account.

He continued his extremely offensive rant with InfoWars host Alex Jones just days later, praising Hitler and spewing more anti-semitic tropes.

West was later dropped by a number of brands including Adidas, who he had been releasing his Yeezy sneaker line with for nearly eight years.

Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, their daughters team up for silly TikTok

Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey belong together on TikTok.

The proud moms unexpectedly teamed up for silly cameos in their daughters’ dancing video on Monday.

“Its a wrap! But never for us!” the stars captioned footage of Kardashian’s 9-year-old daughter, North, and Carey’s 11-year-old daughter, Monroe, dancing to “It’s a Wrap for You.”

North sported an Aaliyah graphic tee and white pants while she showed her moves.

Monroe, for her part, paired a pink sweater with jeans.

Amid the duo’s choreographed movements, Kardashian, 42, and Carey, 53, appeared from offscreen singing into hairbrushes like microphones.

North and Monroe subsequently pushed their respective parents out of the frame.

Kardashian’s TikTok followers expressed their shock over the collaboration in the comments.

“This wasn’t on my 2023 list of things but BOY AM I HAPPY IT IS,” one user wrote, with others calling the reality star’s upload a “power move,” a “flex” and “the definition of iconic.”

The singer shares her Monroe with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Another referred to Kardashian and the Grammy winner as “the duo we never knew that we needed.”

The A-listers’ video was filmed inside of Kardashian’s home, where North often makes TikToks with her mom and siblings — Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 3.

The little ones were not present in Monday’s upload. Monroe’s twin brother, Moroccan, was also absent.

Kardashian and Carey share their children with ex-husbands Kanye West and Nick Cannon, respectively.

As for Kardashian, she shares North with Kanye West.

Carey was married to Cannon, 42, from 2008 to 2016, years after the “All That” alum’s brief relationship with Kardashian.

Cannon and the Skims creator dated in 2006, and the “Masked Singer” host told “Hot Tee” viewers in July 2022 that he is open to reconnecting with his ex.

“I’d definitely spin the block. … I’m patient,” Cannon said of the “Kardashians” star at the time, also expressing a desire to reconcile his and Carey’s “fairy-tale” romance.

“That’s my fantasy love,” the “Wild ‘N Out” host explained. “I will never have a love like I had with Mariah, and I appreciate that.”

TikTokers photoshop their family Christmas photos

Mom of two Abby Ordenana wanted the picture perfect shot for her family Christmas card this year.

But she didn’t want to shuffle off to the mall to have a halfway decent frame snapped by a seasonal department store shutterbug, nor did she feel like setting the timer on her camera phone, sprinting into place and hoping not to look a disheveled, sweaty fright after the flash.

So, Ordenana, 32, Photoshopped herself, her 11-year-old daughter and their dog Zeus into a holiday snap set against a $2,000 all-fabric backdrop, which she purchased earlier in the year for work, alongside her husband Elias and son Ezra, 8, in their living room.

“Photoshopping my Christmas picture was great because [the software] literally allows you to create anything. Sky’s the limit,” Ordenana, a newborn and maternity photographer from Orlando, Fla., explained to The Post.

Abby Ordenana spent over an hour photoshopping herself into her annual family Christmas photo in the hopes of creating the “perfect” shot.
Abby Ordenana/BoVice Photography

To stitch together the yuletide visual, she first set each member of her family into position and took their photo on her Canon EOS 6D camera, leaving a space between her kids empty. Then, she had Aria step out of the shot to take a photo of her seated in the vacant spot she created in the initial shot.

And after 30 minutes of picture taking, Ordenana spent another 45 minutes meticulously merging the two shots together, and adding in a previously snapped picture of Zeus, to actualize “the perfect image.” And her nearly seamless edit scored over 227,000 likes on TikTok.

“It’s a complicated process,” she admitted with a laugh. “But I want my kids to one day look back at the photo and say, ‘Wow, mom really outdid herself when it came to getting those Christmas pictures — so much so that she photoshopped herself in there.’”

And Ordenana isn’t the only one to use the image-editing software to create holiday magic this season. In fact, the hashtag #ChristmasPhotoshop has earned over 10,000 TikTok views. However, not everyone is getting a cheery thumbs up for their retouching efforts.

Paula Abdul looked nearly unrecognizable to fans when she shared images of herself at a holiday gathering last week.

Fans online noted the stark contrast between Abdul’s blemish-free face compared to others, like Kathy Hilton (R).

Social media scrooges recently gave “American Idol” veteran judge Paula Abdul, 60, a virtual lump of coal after she shared a series of presumed photoshopped images of herself at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party online.

Billionaire trendsetter Kim Kardashian, 42, too, caught jingle bell hell for allegedly photoshopping in her sisters and mother Kris Jenner into a festive family image that she shared on Instagram.

Internet trolls blasted Kim Kardashian with accusations claiming she photoshopped her family into a Christmas frame.

Digital detectives pointed out irregularities in their group picture.

Digital whistleblowers called out the reality stars for their awkward body positioning, strange facials expressions and uneven lighting in the shot. And for posting the peculiar picture, photoshop accusers called the Skims mogul “shallow” and “garbage.”

But Kardashian, who’s previously fallen victim to a number of viral photoshop fails, set the record straight about her controversial Christmas snap Wednesday. On her Instagram Story, the A-lister shared behind-the-scenes footage of her clan posing together for the group shot.

Caitie Corkal has made photoshopping her family Christmas cards an annual tradition.

Her cheeky edits have amassed several million views from impressed onlookers on TikTok.

And while Kardashian successfully dodged her most recent string of photoshop charges, professional photographer Caitie Corkal tells The Post that piecing together separate photos to create one cohesive portrait can add a dash of whimsy to an otherwise humdrum holiday novelty.

“Photoshopping our annual Christmas photo allows me to make something fun and lighthearted that makes people laugh,” said Corkal, 31, from Toronto. Each year she transforms individual pictures of herself, her husband Liam and their two dogs and two cats into a wacky season’s greeting card.

A December 2021 edit of her hubby and fur babies dressed in ugly sweaters and Santa hats while riding on her German shepherd’s back fetched over 4.3 million eyes on TikTok. This year’s photoshop of the family decorating a life-sized gingerbread house raked in 789,500 views.

“It hard to get us all in one room and posed for a family picture,” Corkal confessed. “So, photoshopping us together gives us something that everyone loves rather than a boring, cookie-cutter shot.”

Kim Kardashian breaks silence on controversial Balenciaga kids ad campaign

Kim Kardashian is “re-evaluating” her relationship with Balenciaga after the brand drew backlash for producing an ad campaign featuring children holding teddy bears dressed in BDSM-style harnesses.

The star broke her silence on the controversy in a statement to Twitter Sunday night after fans had been demanding she denounce the luxury fashion house for several days.

“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kardashian wrote in an explanation.

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images,” she added. “The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.”

Balenciaga pulled the troublesome campaign — which also included a printed copy of a US Supreme Court decision on child porn laws in the background of one image — Tuesday amid growing outcry and apologized for the bad news bears.

The advertisements supported Balenciaga’s spring 2023 collection, which debuted this fall at Paris Fashion Week.

“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology,” Kardashian tweeted. “In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”

The Skims founder and reality star has a long history with Balenciaga, including posing in its winter 2022 campaign and walking in its Paris couture fashion show in July.

Nearly an hour after she posted her initial statement, Kardashian, 42, posted another statement about that history and working relationship.

“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she wrote.

Fans had been flooding Kardashian’s Instagram comment sections, slamming her for staying silent on the ad campaign.

“Nobody wants to buy anything from you. Speak up and stand for something,” one angry fan commented on her post that promoted a sale on her skin care line.

“When are you going to respond Kim?! Your reputation is on the line here,” another begged.

On Friday, Balenciaga filed a $25 million lawsuit against the production company and set designer behind the controversial ad campaign in an apparent attempt to shift the blame.

Kim Kardashian Says She Travels “With a Cup in the Backseat of the Car” for “Pee Anxiety” on ‘The Kardashians’

Who’s ready for some more Kardashians TMI? Just like her younger sister, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian is always ready to pop a squat whilst traveling via automobile. In fact, the reality star opened up about just how prepared she really is in The Kardashians Season 2 finale.

As she was glamming up to walk the Balenciaga fashion show in Paris, Kim told her entourage that she had just peed three times, adding, “I pray my pee anxiety doesn’t get the best of me.”

Sound familiar? That’s because we’ve seen this movie before.

In the second season’s penultimate episode, Kendall found herself in a similar situation on her way to the Met Gala, where she relieved herself in an ice bucket beneath her giant Prada gown. Although she said she was “mortified” while she did the deed, she later told cameras it was the “best decision” she’s ever made.

Unlike Kendall, who just happened to have an empty ice bucket lying around her sprinter van, Kim has a little more of a routine approach to anxiety peeing — one that seems to help her avoid the pee-on-the-foot fiasco that Kendall endured at the prestigious event.

“I travel with a cup in the backseat of the car with a ziplock, wet wipes,” she explained in the finale as her glam team applied her makeup.

I’d say perhaps the act runs in the family, but Kim recalled the time her mother, Kris Jenner, wasn’t so prepared for her own potential travel disaster.

“My mom almost threw up when she drove me to Palm Springs,” she recalled. “I bring, like, a thermos. And she’s like, ‘I’m going to gag.’”

So when you find yourself in that awkward silence during this Thanksgiving dinner, you’re welcome — now you have a fun fact to share with your entire family: Kim Kardashian brings a thermos in the car in case she has to pee. Nothing like being pretty and practical!

The Kardashians Season 2 is currently streaming on Hulu.
