Darnell ‘SuperChef’ Ferguson’s lawyer calls burglary, strangulation charges ‘misleading’ and ‘false’

Darnell “Superchef” Ferguson’s lawyer called his burglary and strangulation charges “misleading” and “false” after he allegedly threatened to kill his estranged wife, Tatahda Ferguson.

“Darnell and his wife are separated, and are working together to find a new balance for their family,” his lawyer, Krsna Tibbs, told Page Six Thursday.

“They had a disagreement on January 2 that was subsequently reported to the authorities in a misleading and false manner.”

His lawyer said that the Food Network star — who shares eight kids with his estranged wife — hopes “these issues will be resolved shortly and in a way that is least disruptive to their blended family of eight children.”

“We ask at this time for privacy for Darnell and the entire family so that they can heal and continue to work on coparenting as they move forward with their divorce.”

Page Six has reached out to Tatahda for comment but didn’t hear back at the time of publication.

This latest development comes one day after an unidentified woman claimed Darnell, 36, broke into her Louisville, Ky., home where he punched the walls before he strangled her to the point of unconsciousness.

Per a copy of his arrest warrant obtained by TMZ, she claimed that, once she regained consciousness, Darnell tore her pants off and demanded to see her genitals.

Police noted there were noticeable wounds on the woman.

Page Six confirmed Darnell was charged with burglary, terroristic threatening and strangulation following the alleged altercation.

He was also charged with assault, menacing, theft-receipt of a stolen credit or debit card and criminal mischief.

‘I felt really bad for him’

Johnny Depp’s first wife Lori Allison had some stern words about actress Amber Heard a year on from the pair’s highly publicized defamation trial.

Allison wed the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor in 1983 when she was 25 and he was 20, but the pair divorced just two years later citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Appearing on the “Popcorned Planet” podcast, the 65-year-old was asked to give her take on the 36-year-old actress.

Referring to Heard as “she who shall not be named” throughout her interview, Allison recalled really liking the “Aquaman” actress at the start of her romance with Depp.

“I had met her before, I’d been to parties at his house,” Allison recalled. “She seemed really nice and she was gorgeous, and what’s not to love?

“But as the time went by and I would hear things about her – she who shall not be named – he didn’t seem too happy all the time. I didn’t see him a lot so I can’t really say.”

“The things that affected me more were the things he said in court. I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him,” she added.

Calling her ex-husband “very private,” Allison said it was the right decision for Depp to “come out so wholeheartedly” in the defamation case.

“I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well,” she added.

Allison appeared on the “Popcorned Planet” podcast, and was asked to give her take on the 36-year-old actress.

The former make-up artist said she would reach out to Depp’s pals from time to time to get updates on how the court case was going.

She added that sometimes, she would even “walk around crying because I was terrified for him.”

“I think it would’ve killed him, well maybe not, but it just broke my heart that somebody could do that to him,” she said of Heard.

“I’m no angel, I’ve done my share of s–tty things to people, but what she did was absolutely horrific, and if there were things that I could do to her that were legal, I would do them! I would.”

Heard was ordered to pay Depp more than $10 million in compensatory damages plus $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming him in a 2018 op-ed piece she wrote for the Washington Post.

The Post has reached out to Heard’s reps for comment.

Depp was awarded more than $10 million in damages after a jury determined that Heard had harmed his reputation with her allegations of domestic abuse.

Soon after, she sold her California home in an effort to pay off her debts. Prior to her time in Spain, Heard spent time in the Hamptons and Israel with her friends and daughter.

Heard has since asked the judge to toss the jury’s verdict. She claims that the judgment wasn’t supported by evidence.

For his part, Depp, who was in the UK when the verdict came down, said in a statement: “The jury gave me my life back.”

Khloé Kardashian subtly supports Tristan Thompson’s Lakers move

Khloé Kardashian “likes” Tristan Thompson being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The “Kardashians” star subtly supported her on-again, off-again beau by dropping a “like” on the NBA’s Instagram post that announced Thompson’s and Shaquille Harrison’s move.

News of Thompson’s trade comes just weeks after he purchased a mansion three doors down from Khloé’s Hidden Hills estate.

The athlete, who shares 4-year-old daughter True and an 8-month old baby boy with Khloé, signed the deed for the $12.5 million, 10,584-square-foot property in December 2022.

Neither Khloé nor Thompson publicly commented on his eyebrow-raising real estate move.

The “Kardashians” star “liked” the NBA’s post announcing the news.

However, the Good American co-founder repeatedly has had to shut down reconciliation rumors in recent weeks and maintain that she’s “single.”

Despite telling fans and followers that she and Thompson, 32, aren’t romantically involved, the pair continue to spark rumors otherwise.

Just last week, the duo were spotted at a McDonald’s together grabbing a ton of food, but a source close to the former couple doubled down to Page Six that it wasn’t a romantic outing.

The NBA player was also invited to True’s birthday party last weekend and was seen mingling with the Kardashians and their friends.

In addition to the two children he shares with the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum, Thompson is also a father to 6-year-old son Prince, whom he co-parents with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, and 1-year-old son Theo, whose mother is Maralee Nichols.

While the former Chicago Bulls player was showering his daughter at her birthday party, Nichols took the opportunity to shade Thompson and the lavish display.

Despite the eyebrow-raising moves, Kardashian maintains she’s “single.”

“Happiness,” she wrote alongside the social media upload of Theo at the beach. “it’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.”

Instagram users commented on the pointed caption, with one writing, “This one will grow up mentally healthy and happy in the natural world.”

Another added, “Simple is right!”

Kim Kardashian look-alike on Drake’s latest cover art revealed

Yes indeed, that was just a Kim Kardashian look-alike.

Drake sent Twitter into a frenzy Thursday after releasing the cover art for his latest single, “Search & Rescue,” which seemingly features an image of him and the “Kardashians” star in matching motorcycle helmets.

However, TMZ confirmed Friday that the mystery woman was actually an artist named Lilah, who just so happens to bare a striking resemblance to the reality TV star.

Although it seemed unlikely that Kardashian would pose with ex-husband Kanye West’s frenemy, Drake did sample her voice in the song.

Fans previously suspected it was Kim Kardashian given the fact Drake used an audio clip of her in the song.
Instagram/@champagnepapi

In fact, Drake savagely used a clip of Kardashian speaking about her divorce from West on the 2021 series finale of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

“I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” the reality star, 42, said in the audio.

Many people noticed the pair’s striking similarities.

Around that same time, West accused Drake of acting like he had hooked up with his now ex-wife — which she denied.

“It’s like somebody throwing a marble and hiding their hand,” West added on “Drink Champs” at the time.

Drake’s decision to reignite the feud shocked many fans given the fact the pair seemed to bury the hatchet in November 2021.

Fans suspected that Drake used a Kardashian look-alike to upset rival Kanye West.
Instagram/@lilahpi

At the time, West posted a photo with Drake alongside music executive J. Prince in Toronto. He captioned the post with a “dove” emoji to emphasize the peace made between them.

However, on Drizzy’s newest album, “Her Loss,” the rapper inferred that the meeting meant nothing to him.

“Linking with the opps, b—h, I did that s—t for J. Prince,” he rapped on the track “Circo Loco.”

Drake and West have beefed for years amid rumors the “Nice For What” rapper slept with Kardashian.

To which West seemingly replied in a since-deleted tweet last year.

“Enough already I done gave this man his flowers multiple times. Let’s really see who [our] real opps are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each other’s contracts. It’s kingdom time. Love Drake,” Ye wrote.

Meanwhile, Drake’s father, Dennis, has tried to reassure fans that “it’s just a song” and his son is “not trolling” West.

Eva Marcille shared a cryptic post on Instagram following the news that she’s divorcing Michael Sterling after 5 years of marriage.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum filed the paperwork last week, saying their union is “irretrievably broken” and that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”

Taking to her Instagram story Tuesday, the Bravolebrity sat beside a friend before flashing a smile at the camera, saying, “Tues-yay.”

“That’s a fake ass smile, but it’s okay,” she went on. “Smile anyway, right?”

“The pain under the beauty,” the image was captioned, seemingly a subtle reference to her current situation.

The 38-year-old tied the knot with trial lawyer Sterling in 2018.

The pair went on to welcome two children: son Michael “Mikey” Jr., who will turn 5 next month, and son Maverick, who will celebrate his 4th birthday in September.

In her divorce filing, Marcille demanded legal and primary custody of the children as well as child support.

As for the couple’s assets, the “America’s Next Top Model” winner said she wants everything to be divided equally.

“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” she told People in a statement.

“Our children remain our biggest priority, and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

In 2017, the pair got engaged on Christmas Day but have since come to live in “a bona fide state of separation,” according to Marcille.

Sterling made appearances on “RHOA” in Seasons 11 and 12 when Marcille was a main fixture on the hit Bravo show.

She has not returned to the show since Season 13.

Ben Affleck backtracks on blaming Jennifer Garner for alcoholism

Ben Affleck is setting the record straight on who he blames for his past drinking issues, stating in a new interview, “To be clear, my behavior is my responsibility entirely.”

The Argo director, 50, told the Hollywood Reporter Thursday that he has become “very guarded” after telling Howard Stern in 2021 that he’d still be drinking if he’d stayed married to Jennifer Garner — because he feels his comments were misconstrued.

“The point that I was trying to make was a sad one,” he clarified.

“Anyone who’s been through divorce makes that calculus of, ‘How much do we try?’ We loved each other. We care about each other. We have respect for each other.”

Affleck then further explained, “I was trying to say, ‘Hey, look, I was drinking too much, and the less happy you become, whether it’s your job, your marriage, it’s just that as your life becomes more difficult, if you’re doing things to fill a hole that aren’t healthy, you’re going to start doing more of those things.’ I think I was pretty articulate about that.”

Affleck previously told Howard Stern of his marriage with Garner, “Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped.”
GC Images

When the “Good Will Hunting” star went on Stern’s radio show, he said “part” of the reason he started drinking was because he felt “trapped” in his marriage with Garner, 50.

The remarks grew criticism from fans and even close friends of his ex-wife.

“It’s disgusting,” one industry insider previously told Page Six in December 2021.

Affleck said he meant to say that as life becomes more “difficult,” that can lead to drinking more.
GC Images

“Jen has been the only one picking him up time and time again when he’s done horrible things — fallen off the wagon or worse. Jen stood by him because she loves him. This is the mother of his children.”

Soon after the interview went viral, Affleck appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to address the controversial comments.

“I don’t believe that — it’s the exact opposite of who I am, what I believe, and I would never want my kids to ever say a bad word about their mom,” the “Justice League” actor said at the time.

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2018. They share three kids: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.

The former couple first announced they were separating in 2015, and prior to finalizing their divorce three years later, Affleck went to rehab multiple times.

The “Armageddon” star had been open about the fact that he struggled with alcohol addiction, saying in a Facebook post in 2017, “I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”

However, Affleck appears to have become more cautious now of speaking to the press about his problems, telling the Hollywood Reporter that he views interviews as “land mines,” where “if you say one wrong thing, your career might be over.”

He called the fallout from the Stern interview a really “painful experience” because he was “really vulnerable,” and “the entire pickup was something that was not only not right, it was actually the opposite of what I meant.”

Affleck said that his current wife, Jennifer Lopez, has encouraged him, though, to just “relax,” be himself and “have fun” with the entire process.

“As in many things, she’s really right,” the “Deep Water” star concludes. “And she loves me. She’s looking out for me. She’s trying to help me. So it’s like, maybe I ought to f–cking listen to her.”

Katie Maloney says Tom Schwartz’s bar ‘broke’ their marriage

Katie Maloney has blamed Tom Schwartz’s bar for the demise of their marriage.

Wednesday’s episode saw Schwartz and his business partner Tom Sandoval finally open the doors to their new bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s. The duo hosted a bash for the Daily Mail.

But Maloney broke down in tears over the opening as it reminded her of why the pair’s romance crumbled.

“I’m trying to be excited for Tom, but this bar has a very complicated history,” she said in her confessional. “It put a massive strain on our relationship. It just was a lot more of a presence in my life than I thought it would be, without me having say over it.”

The “Vanderpump Rules” stars were married from 2019 to 2022. They finalized their divorce last October and share joint custody of their dogs.

The exes discussed their ill-fated union and what led to it ultimately crumbling in Wednesday’s episode of “Vanderpump Rules.”

“All of the marital issues and arguments and everything we were having has now just been personified. This bar was the other woman in our marriage, and I’m standing inside of her now,” she added.

The pair sat down for a chat during the opening, at which Schwartz admitted that his focus was primarily on his business ventures and not on his ex.

“In the divorce, I let myself get sucked in,” he told Maloney.

“It nearly broke you, and it nearly broke me,” she chimed in, adding that “it broke us kinda, so was it worth it?”

“Don’t say that,” he said. “Jesus, I don’t know how to answer that. I just don’t want you to ever think that I chose this place over you because I didn’t.”

But Maloney was adamant that Schwartz’s business came first and as a result, their marriage followed in second place.

“Well, I feel like you chose a lot over me,” she explained. “You never chose me in any side, in any argument, even when it was me having your back in things. It just made me feel like you don’t like me.”

“I think a lot of things I was choosing to ignore and choosing to live with and think that it was okay, and it wasn’t okay,” she added.

It seemed as though Maloney’s message finally got through to her ex, who apologized for his actions, saying he’s “trying to move forward and not beat myself up too much, but I’m self-aware.”

“Maybe I wish I had really fought for her, but I think I would’ve been prolonging the pain and making her suffer and detracting from her happiness,” he said in his confessional while holding back tears.

“I’m so madly in love with this whole bar, this lounge, the concept, but sometimes I ask myself, ‘Was it worth it?’ and I don’t know.”

“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Britney Spears teases new tattoo, posts photos with ex Justin Timberlake

Britney Spears is reminiscing on the good old days.

The pop star took to Instagram Tuesday night to share a series of throwback photos playing basketball with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

“When we used to shoot hoops TOGETHER … that’s when miracles happened ✨ !!!” the songstress captioned the snaps of the couple, who dated from 1999 to 2002, in matching basketball uniforms.

However, Spears seemingly concluded the post by throwing some shade at Timberlake, who broke her heart over 20 years ago.

“I came out of my mom’s stomach just like we all did !!! Psss … why always cast me out ??? I’m equal as all !!!”

The former couple dated for three years in the late ’90s to early 2000s.
Getty Images

Following the trip down memory lane, Spears also teased getting a new tattoo on her arm.

In a video posted to social media, the “Toxic” singer pranced around her hotel room before an artist started tattooing her arm while they both were standing up.

“Tattoo in Maui 3 days ago 😜😜😜 !!!” Spears captioned the clip. “Can’t show it because it sucks 😂😂😂 !!! Like really really sucks !!! S–t 🙈🙈🙈 !!!”

Spears says “miracles” happen when people do things “together.”
Getty Images

The strange social media antics come just one day after Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari,  shut down reports that the pop star had a “meltdown” at a restaurant.

“Don’t believe what you read online people,” the actor wrote on his Instagram Story Monday after TMZ published an article claiming Spears’ was acting “manic” in public causing her beau to “storm out” of the establishment.

The songstress also posted a video getting some new ink.

However, an employee at the restaurant told Page Six that the disturbance was caused by another diner who continued to film Spears as she tried to shield her face with a menu.

The staffer said the Grammy winner “was understandably upset” and that Asghari “only left briefly to get their car, but he did not storm out.”

Spears has yet to show off her new tattoo, which didn’t come out the way she was hoping it would.

In typical Britney fashion, she took to social media shortly after the incident to give her take on the incident — and give her haters the middle finger.

“I know the news is all hyped about me being a little drunk at a restaurant … it’s like they’ll be WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE 👀 !!! I’m so flattered they talk about me like a maniac THEN have the balls to talk about all the negative things that happened in my past !!!”

Khloé Kardashian turned down Tristan Thompson’s marriage proposal

Tristan Thompson secretly proposed to Khloé Kardashian in December 2020 — but she rejected him.

The stunning revelation was made on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians” when Kim Kardashian spilled that the Good American co-founder never even told her family.

“The fact that he proposed and you never told us, and I asked him months later,” Kim said to Khloé in a conversation.

The Skims founder then recalled Tristan saying, “‘Oh, I did it months ago. She didn’t tell you guys?’”

It turned out the NBA free agent, 31, popped the question in December 2020, but Khloé turned him down because she didn’t feel “proud” of his offer.

“I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone,” Khloé said in a confessional, “and that’s why I said I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not excited to tell my family.”

Just yesterday, the actress was seen with her husband, Matthew…

The “Revenge Body” alum continued, “As hurtful as that probably was for him to hear it was the truth. I’m not ever gonna accept something and give someone false hope.”

While Khloé, 38, was strong enough to turn down her on-again, off-again beau, Kim joked she’d “have to say yes” to a proposal because she’d “just feel so bad.”

Throughout the episode, the family tries to figure out how to help Khloé, who is still reeling from finding out that Thompson not only cheated on her again but also impregnated Maralee Nichols while pushing Khloé to have a baby via surrogate.

“I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone,” she said.

“I don’t know if I’m strong,” Khloé said. “I’m literally just numb to all this s–t, like how much can people take?”

The heartbreak came as the former “Kocktails With Khloé” star found out that she and Thompson would have a baby boy. Although they were no longer a couple, Khloé allowed the athlete to visit their newborn in the hospital.

“Now that my son is here, I get to move on and I get to enjoy,” she said during the premiere. “It’s almost like I get to close that chapter and be done with this trauma and put it behind me.”

Tristan Thompson has been paying Maralee Nichols child support

Tristan Thompson has been paying Maralee Nichols child support despite their ongoing family court lawsuit, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

An attorney for Thompson informed Page Six in a legal letter sent late Wednesday that the NBA free agent “is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child.”

Nichols gave birth to their son, Theo, on Dec. 1, 2021.

Earlier this year, a rep for Nichols claimed in a statement that Thompson had “done nothing” and provided zero “financial assistance,” but he since has repaid the money owed.

While the basketball player may be ponying up the funds, a source tells us that he has yet to bond with his baby boy.

“Tristan has still made no attempt to meet his 8-month-old son, Theo,” our insider shares.

A rep for Nichols didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

A source maintains that Thompson has yet to meet the 8-month-old.

Nichols filed a paternity lawsuit against Thompson, 31, in June 2021 for child support, claiming he had impregnated her over his 30th birthday weekend that March — when he was still romantically involved with Khloé Kardashian. The athlete vehemently denied being the father until a DNA test proved otherwise.

“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote in a statement posted to social media in January. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”

Nichols and Thompson have been embroiled in a legal battle since the fall.

Thompson also apologized to Kardashian, 38, with whom he was secretly expecting a child via surrogate, for betraying her.

“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”

Thompson shares 4-year-old daughter True and a baby boy with the “Kardashians” star. He is also a dad to 5-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
