Prince Harry heard about King Charles’ prostate diagnosis from news alert: report

Prince Harry found out about King Charles’ prostate diagnosis from the media rather than Buckingham Palace, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, was briefed on his father’s upcoming medical procedure, set to take place next week, in a message that reached him only after he had already read about the news online, sources told the Telegraph.

Insiders said while the palace made an effort to inform all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, the private message reached Harry after the public announcement.

Buckingham Palace announced Charles’ diagnosis at 3:25 p.m. UK time on Wednesday, which was 7:25 a.m. in California, where the Duke resides with his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children.

The Post has reached out to Harry’s reps and Buckingham Palace for comment.

An official announcement from the Palace said that the king, 75, is set to undergo a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate next week.

The statement came less than an hour after Kensington Palace revealed that Kate Middleton, 42, had a planned abdominal surgery this week.

The Princess of Wales was expected to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days and has postponed all engagements until after Easter.

The monarch’s former royal butler, Grant Harrold, exclusively told The Post Wednesday that Prince William is no doubt feeling “anxious” that both his wife and father are sitting out of royal engagements amid their respective medical procedures.

Harrold said that Middleton being out of action for the next few months will have a “huge impact” on the royal family behind closed doors.

Harry and Meghan have remained silent since news of the royal family’s health woes.

The father-of-two, who this week withdrew his libel case against the Mail on Sunday, was named a “living legend” before being honored for his time as a helicopter co-pilot in the British Army at the Beverly Hills soiree, which he attended solo.

After taking to the stage to receive his award from John Travolta, Harry recalled the actor’s picture-perfect moment in 1985 when he danced with Diana at President Ronald Reagan’s White House dinner.

“I was just a 1-year-old when you danced with my mom at the White House and now look at us,” Harry told Travolta.

“The only thing left to do is… not dance together but fly together,” he added.

Travolta, who is the “official ambassador of aviation” and a former pilot himself, was reportedly the one who pushed for the exiled royal to be recognized for his stint in the Army.

After presenting Harry with a medal, Travolta asked him, “What can you remember about your first flight?”

“It’s classified,” Harry quipped.

Prince Harry pays tribute to late mother Princess Diana as he attends ‘living legend’ awards solo

Prince Harry paid touching tribute to his late mother Princess Diana as he was inducted into an aviation Hall of Fame on Friday.

The Duke of Sussex was named a “living legend” before being honored for his time as a helicopter co-pilot in the British Army.

Harry attended the star-studded ceremony in Beverly Hills sans wife Meghan Markle.

After taking to the stage to receive his award from John Travolta, Harry recalled the actor’s picture-perfect moment in 1985 when he danced with Diana at President Ronald Reagan’s White House dinner.

“I was just a one-year-old when you danced with my mom at the White House and now look at us,” Harry, 39, told Travolta.

“It’s classified,” Harry quipped.

Harry has 10 years of military experience under his belt and has completed two tours of Afghanistan where he flew in combat missions.

The royal, who rose to the rank of Captain during his time in the military, is also the founder of the Invictus Games, for which he was honored at the ceremony.

Harry’s name was called out among a slew of others, including Jeff Bezos, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Morgan Freeman, Elon Musk, and Saudi Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud.

Other space legends such as US Navy pilot Fred George and former world speed record holder Steve Hinton were also inducted.

Harry, who this week withdrew his libel case against the Mail on Sunday, seemingly enjoyed his evening out, as he was pictured taking a selfie with Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, 46, who is a member of the Danish royal family.

Harry’s outing came just days after it emerged that Kate Middleton had a planned abdominal surgery, which she will now recover from for at least two weeks.

News of the Princess of Wales’s medical procedure came to light Wednesday in an official statement from Kensington Palace, who revealed that she has postponed all engagements until after Easter.

Meghan Markle’s desire ‘to go back to acting’ will test business relationship with Prince Harry, top astrologer predicts

Meghan Markle’s desire to return to Hollywood in 2024 will likely have a negative effect on her business partnership with Prince Harry, according to a renowned astrologer.

Susan Miller, founder of Astrology Zone, believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship will experience some hardships in the coming year as Markle sets her sights on an acting comeback.

Miller told the Daily Mail that Harry, who quit royal life and hightailed it across the pond in 2020, will start to miss his old life on home soil.

“I think of Harry in a bucolic, beautiful setting. Santa Barbara is the closest thing to paradise I’ve ever seen, and it doesn’t have the hustle (and) bustle though,” Miller told the outlet.

“It’s gorgeous, but he used to have 20 detail men following him around, and all the things he was doing. His life has changed dramatically.”

“Now, living in Santa Barbara is perfect for the children, and I know he loves to play polo…He loves history and family,” she added.

According to the astrologer, the Sussexes will butt heads when it comes to their respective careers, as the “Suits” alum will be looking to return to the acting arena once more.

“I think [Harry] is going to miss London, and I don’t know how they’re going to figure that out. I think it’s great when the kids are little, because, of course, they need places to play, and just be kids, and they’re gonna have the privacy there,” Miller said.

“But Meghan wants to go back to acting…I don’t think the [Netflix] business plan of creating movies is the way it’s going to go. I think she will go back to work.”

“I also think they may need a constant supply of money because they’ve sort of told all the family secrets, they don’t have any more to tell. I think we all know too much…It’s an odd situation,” she added.

Miller issued a stark warning to Virgos for 2024, saying that either marriages or business partnerships “will be tested.”

“You will have to come up with imaginative solutions, or you may decide to leave the situation,” she said, before speaking about Harry, a Virgo, and Markle, a Leo, respectively.

“It will be [Harry] who is going through the test. But what’s interesting is [Meghan] felt it and is coming out of it. He’s going into it because Leo had it already. He’s the one finding it difficult.”

Opera ‘Carmen’ will be remade as a film — inside the dance-fueled changes

Bizet’s “Carmen.” The 19th century’s political unrest, social class, power struggle, murder, scandal, gender, race, now fits our 2lst century. Result? Rejiggering the opera as a film.

Director’s Benjamin Millepied — choreographer, plus husband of Oscar winner Natalie Portman who played a ballerina in “Black Swan.”

Tall, handsome, French, his sneakers were spotless.

“My film’s set in Mexico, a country in chaos. I began this career as a child. My mother, a dancer, had some link. A love of music and expression, dance is no financially rewarding career — only fulfilling.

“Took me six years to write this. Drama told through music — like ‘West Side Story.’ I reinvented her. More freedom. She’s not just an object of desire.”

She’s independent. Mother’s murdered. Illegal border guard kills others in her group. Standoff. Escape to LA. Police close in. For the rest see the movie.

“Onstage, dance, music, lights, costumes come together. A single experience. I approached this same way I approach dance, the language of dreams, the mystical and the earthly. My conscious and subconscious.”

Royal family wears blue in first Easter since Queen Elizabeth’s death

Something blue.

King Charles and his family were spotted Sunday wearing blue at Windsor Castle as he and several other senior members of the royal family attended the first Easter church service since Queen Elizabeth’s passing in September.

Alongside Charles, 74, stood Queen Consort Camila, 75, and behind them walked the future king’s sister Princess Anne and brother, disgraced royal Prince Andrew, reports The Independent.

Prince Edward and his family trailed the senior royals followed by Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Bringing up the rear of the group were Princess Eugenie — who is pregnant — and her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The service was held at the 15th-century Windsor Castle which served as the final resting place for Charles’ mother and father as well as his grandparents.

In September, the Royal family revealed a new ledger stone was placed on the tomb.

“A ledger stone has been installed at the King George VI Memorial Chapel, following the interment of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth,” reads a tweet alongside a photo. “The King George VI Memorial Chapel sits within the walls of St George’s Chapel, Windsor.”

This is also Charles’ first service as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

The Easter service comes as Charles and Camila prepare for their coronation on May 6.

In the past, the then-Prince Charles issued a statement to the country — last year’s addressed the millions of displaced people “wounded by the past, fearful of the future,” however, the king has yet to release one as a reflection of his new station.

Keeping with his mother’s tradition, the future king and queen handed out Maundy money to 74 men and women as thanks for their outstanding Christian service.

The family outing comes after a brand new revelation that King Charles refused to put Meghan Markel on the royal family’s payroll.

Royal correspondent Robert Jobson made the revelation in his new book “Our King.”

Jobson claims the then-prince made the jab in 2016 when Harry announced his intention to marry the “Suits” star.

According to Jobson, Charles said he couldn’t bankroll Markel, 41, since he was already paying for Camila and William’s growing family.

“This infuriated Harry,” wrote Jobson, “When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn’t given in, he told her that he wasn’t a bank.”

Jobson theorized this was the inciting incident that led to Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family.

Meghan Markle wins defamation lawsuit against Samantha Markle

Meghan Markle has won the defamation lawsuit brought forward by her half-sister, Samantha Markle.

Samantha Markle, 58, sued the Duchess of Sussex in federal court in Florida for allegedly making “demonstrably false and malicious statements” about her to a world audience during her and Prince Harry’s bombshell March 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Samantha filed the $75,000 lawsuit after Meghan told Oprah that she grew up as an only child.

The comments subjected Samantha to “humiliation and hatred,” she claimed.

But on Thursday, a Florida judge didn’t see it that way and dismissed the lawsuit, saying Meghan’s remarks were opinions and “not capable of being proved false.”

“As a reasonable listener would understand it, Defendant merely expresses an opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-siblings,” US District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell wrote in her order.

“Thus, the Court finds that Defendant’s statement is not objectively verifiable or subject to empirical proof. Plaintiff cannot plausibly disprove Defendant’s opinion of her own childhood.”

Samantha, who shares a dad with the exiled royal, claimed Meghan “orchestrated the campaign to defame and destroy her sister’s and her father’s reputation and credibility in order to preserve and promote the false ‘rags-to-royalty’ narrative [Meghan] had fabricated about her life to the Royal Family and the worldwide media.”

Samantha’s lawyer Peter Ticktin told the court that Meghan got caught in a lie about her upbringing and decided to slam her half-sister and estranged father to cover it up, according to the Daily Mail.

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle.

“Why else is she putting her sister down? Why else is she putting her father down? Why else is she denying her family who has done nothing but good to her all her life?” Ticktin said. “She never had a problem with them at all.”

He said the “false narrative” put out by Meghan harmed his client.

Samantha also wanted Meghan to take back allegations she made against the royal family by claiming “Queen Elizabeth was not a racist” and “King Charles is not a racist.”

Meghan’s lawyer, Michael Kump, however, said Samantha had no grounds to sue for defamation.

He said the claims made by Samantha and her lawyer were “quite frankly offensive to my client” and demanded the case be dismissed.

“Not every perceived slight ought to be litigated and that’s true here,” he said last month. “Plaintiff is taking issue with Meghan’s own impressions of her own childhood growing up but that’s not a proper subject matter for a court of law.”

He added that the duchess and former “Suits” star has a right to voice opinions “and even criticize” under the First Amendment.

The estranged half-sisters had been at odds for years before the famous 2021 Oprah interview.

Meghan has repeatedly accused Samantha and their father Thomas of selling stories to the British tabloids.

For her part, Samantha has continued to fire shots at the duchess and brother-in-law Prince Harry as the couple continues putting out documentaries and memories.

Last month, she accused the Duke of Sussex of being “emotionally underdeveloped.”

“I don’t think he can think like an adult because I don’t think emotionally he is one,” she added.

Meghan Markle ‘should have warned’ Harry over drug revelations: expert

Meghan Markle “should have warned” her husband Prince Harry over his candid drug revelations, according to a royal expert.

Page Six exclusively revealed that Harry may find himself with his back against the wall — and stripped of his rights to live in the US — over being too honest about his past drug use.

But according to royal biographer Angela Levin, Markle should have told her husband about the consequences his admissions may have.

“I don’t understand why his wife didn’t warn him,” she told Dan Wootton on GB News.

“He talked to her about everything he was going to say. She is in charge as we both know.”

“She didn’t say ‘be careful, because if you talk too much about the drugs, you might be in trouble,’” Levin said, adding that she’s “concerned” about “why she left him alone on this.”

“The mental health guru who was talking to him should have said beforehand, ‘don’t talk about the drugs,’” the royal expert went on. “He made his life extremely difficult.”

The Duke of Sussex revealed in his protocol-shattering memoir “Spare” that he “drank heavily,” used cocaine, and smoked weed earlier on in his life.

While the exiled royal, 38, claimed he only used coke as a teen, he also admitted to experimenting with psychedelics well into his adulthood — considering hallucinogenic drugs a “fundamental” part of his life.

“It was the cleaning of the windscreen, the removal of life’s filters — these layers of filters — it removed it all for me and brought me a sense of relaxation, relief, comfort, a lightness that I managed to hold back for a period of time,” he said during an online chat with trauma expert Gabor Maté earlier this month.

“I started doing it recreationally and then started to realize how good it was for me.”

While he’s never disclosed whether he’s battled serious drug issues in his life, Harry was previously sent to a rehab center at age 17 by his father, King Charles, after admitting to smoking marijuana.

While it’s a gray area over whether or not Harry’s candid admission could find him in hot water, experts have shared their thoughts both for and against the prince’s visa being under scrutiny.

A top immigration attorney previously told Page Six that should Harry face any legal issues, the Duchess of Sussex could opt to sponsor her husband.

Prince George, Charlotte and Louis’ roles in King Charles’ coronation revealed

Prince William’s children are expected to take part in the King’s coronation, according to a report.

Leaked plans show that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will have formal roles in the procession at Westminster Abbey on May 6, The Times reports.

The children will join King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla at the end of the ceremony, however, Kensington Palace has yet to confirm the report.

Plans seen by the outlet show that George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 5, are set to join their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton in a carriage behind a Gold State Coach transporting the King and Queen.

It’s believed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have not been invited to attend the event.

According to leaked plans, neither the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nor Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will take part in the procession.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will also be sitting out the procession, plans reveal.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.

While Buckingham Palace has remained tight-lipped about the upcoming extravaganza, it did tease that the crowning will be a scaled-back affair.

The 74-year-old’s coronation will “reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future while being rooted in long-standing traditions and pageantry,” Buckingham Palace has previously said.

“The King asked for it to be more modest,” Royal author Hugo Vickers told the outlet. “This is a greatly pared-down procession.”

The royal trio will reportedly join their grandfather and Queen Consort Camilla after the ceremony.

The procession is set to be a third of the size Queen Elizabeth’s 1953 coronation was.

King Charles, who was just four when his late mother was crowned aged 25, attended just parts of the three-hour-long service and did not have a formal role on the big day.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex — who recently received their invitations to the May ceremony — are still mulling over whether or not they will make the 5,459-mile-long trip.

Harry and Meghan’s children, son Archie and daughter Lilibet, have yet to receive invitations to their grandfather’s coronation — despite receiving their royal title.

If they do go, the exiled royals will be met with a “cold shoulder” from senior members of the royal family, according to a report.

In January, Harry sensationally refused to commit to attending the event, saying “there’s a lot to be discussed” before he can make that decision.

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then,” he said in an interview. “But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.”

Camilla will be Queen, not Queen Consort after Charles’ coronation

Queen Consort Camilla is simply going to be Queen Camilla, according to a report.

The change in title will likely come after the May coronation of King Charles III, the Daily Mail reported, citing unnamed sources.

The former Camilla Parker-Bowles has been married to King Charles since 2005 and had been known as the Duchess of Cornwall until Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September.

When Charles ascended to the throne, she became Queen Consort.

The latest change in title goes against the dictate of the late queen, who outlined her wishes for Camilla in a February 2022 letter.

“And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when the time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” the queen wrote.

The statement seemed to settle the issue of how Camilla would be addressed.

A signal of an impending change came last week when Camilla’s charity was rebranded as the “Queen’s Reading Room” rather than the “Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room.”

“There’s a view in the Palace that Queen Consort is cumbersome and it might be simpler for Camilla to be known just as the Queen when the time is right,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Charles and Camilla will be crowned together on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. Camilla’s grandchildren from her first marriage, who have been kept away from the spotlight, are expected to have a role in the ceremony.

Meghan, Harry underestimated place in Hollywood ‘pecking order’: ex pal

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ill-prepared for just how low down the Hollywood “pecking order” they’d be, according to a former friend of the actress.

TV presenter Nick Ede, who says his friendship with the former “Suits” star kickstarted years before she had her sights set on the palace, claims that the pair didn’t realize they wouldn’t be known as “Hollywood royalty” when they moved across the pond to California.

“I think they came in and thought that the number one people on the block and they’re not really,” Ede, who says he lost contact with Markle when she started dating the Duke of Sussex, told the Express.

“They’re kind of quite far down really in that pecking order. And I think that’s been an issue with them, in that sense of stepping down.”

Ede, 49, claims the royals don’t carry the same prestige in Hollywood as other stars like the Kardashians, for example.

“I think the thing is that you forget that in Hollywood royalty isn’t somebody with a title,” he explained. “It’s J.Lo, it’s Sharon Stone, it’s Beyoncé, it’s the Kardashians. That’s their royalty.”

“I think they came in and thought that the number one people on the block and they’re not really,” TV presenter Nick Ede said.

“And also the Obamas or Clintons. If you’ve been in office, apart from Trump, then you’re seen as being a top dog. I think they have underestimated that in many ways,” he added.

Ede claims he struck up a friendship with Markle back in 2013 after he asked the then-actress to host the London Global Gift Gala.

He went on to say she was “really nice” during their three-year friendship.

The Sussexes sensationally stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2021 — a decision that was followed by a permanent move to the US, and several high-publicity projects such as a Netflix doc, and Harry’s memoir, “Spare.”

It’s reported that another royal, Prince Andrew, is now exploring a potential move to the US after “keeping an eye” on how Harry and Meghan would get on.

The source claimed that the 62-year-old is “very interested” in “business and charity” — but unlike his nephew, he will not be exploring Netflix-style projects as he looks to “forge a new career.”
