Prince Harry heard about King Charles’ prostate diagnosis from news alert: report

Prince Harry found out about King Charles’ prostate diagnosis from the media rather than Buckingham Palace, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, was briefed on his father’s upcoming medical procedure, set to take place next week, in a message that reached him only after he had already read about the news online, sources told the Telegraph.

Insiders said while the palace made an effort to inform all senior members of the royal family, including Harry, the private message reached Harry after the public announcement.

Buckingham Palace announced Charles’ diagnosis at 3:25 p.m. UK time on Wednesday, which was 7:25 a.m. in California, where the Duke resides with his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children.

The Post has reached out to Harry’s reps and Buckingham Palace for comment.

An official announcement from the Palace said that the king, 75, is set to undergo a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate next week.

The statement came less than an hour after Kensington Palace revealed that Kate Middleton, 42, had a planned abdominal surgery this week.

The Princess of Wales was expected to remain in the hospital for 10 to 14 days and has postponed all engagements until after Easter.

The monarch’s former royal butler, Grant Harrold, exclusively told The Post Wednesday that Prince William is no doubt feeling “anxious” that both his wife and father are sitting out of royal engagements amid their respective medical procedures.

Harrold said that Middleton being out of action for the next few months will have a “huge impact” on the royal family behind closed doors.

Harry and Meghan have remained silent since news of the royal family’s health woes.

The father-of-two, who this week withdrew his libel case against the Mail on Sunday, was named a “living legend” before being honored for his time as a helicopter co-pilot in the British Army at the Beverly Hills soiree, which he attended solo.

After taking to the stage to receive his award from John Travolta, Harry recalled the actor’s picture-perfect moment in 1985 when he danced with Diana at President Ronald Reagan’s White House dinner.

“I was just a 1-year-old when you danced with my mom at the White House and now look at us,” Harry told Travolta.

“The only thing left to do is… not dance together but fly together,” he added.

Travolta, who is the “official ambassador of aviation” and a former pilot himself, was reportedly the one who pushed for the exiled royal to be recognized for his stint in the Army.

After presenting Harry with a medal, Travolta asked him, “What can you remember about your first flight?”

“It’s classified,” Harry quipped.

Royal family wears blue in first Easter since Queen Elizabeth’s death

Something blue.

King Charles and his family were spotted Sunday wearing blue at Windsor Castle as he and several other senior members of the royal family attended the first Easter church service since Queen Elizabeth’s passing in September.

Alongside Charles, 74, stood Queen Consort Camila, 75, and behind them walked the future king’s sister Princess Anne and brother, disgraced royal Prince Andrew, reports The Independent.

Prince Edward and his family trailed the senior royals followed by Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Bringing up the rear of the group were Princess Eugenie — who is pregnant — and her husband Jack Brooksbank.

The service was held at the 15th-century Windsor Castle which served as the final resting place for Charles’ mother and father as well as his grandparents.

In September, the Royal family revealed a new ledger stone was placed on the tomb.

“A ledger stone has been installed at the King George VI Memorial Chapel, following the interment of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth,” reads a tweet alongside a photo. “The King George VI Memorial Chapel sits within the walls of St George’s Chapel, Windsor.”

This is also Charles’ first service as the Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

The Easter service comes as Charles and Camila prepare for their coronation on May 6.

In the past, the then-Prince Charles issued a statement to the country — last year’s addressed the millions of displaced people “wounded by the past, fearful of the future,” however, the king has yet to release one as a reflection of his new station.

Keeping with his mother’s tradition, the future king and queen handed out Maundy money to 74 men and women as thanks for their outstanding Christian service.

The family outing comes after a brand new revelation that King Charles refused to put Meghan Markel on the royal family’s payroll.

Royal correspondent Robert Jobson made the revelation in his new book “Our King.”

Jobson claims the then-prince made the jab in 2016 when Harry announced his intention to marry the “Suits” star.

According to Jobson, Charles said he couldn’t bankroll Markel, 41, since he was already paying for Camila and William’s growing family.

“This infuriated Harry,” wrote Jobson, “When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn’t given in, he told her that he wasn’t a bank.”

Jobson theorized this was the inciting incident that led to Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family.

Prince George, Charlotte and Louis’ roles in King Charles’ coronation revealed

Prince William’s children are expected to take part in the King’s coronation, according to a report.

Leaked plans show that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will have formal roles in the procession at Westminster Abbey on May 6, The Times reports.

The children will join King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla at the end of the ceremony, however, Kensington Palace has yet to confirm the report.

Plans seen by the outlet show that George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 5, are set to join their parents Prince William and Kate Middleton in a carriage behind a Gold State Coach transporting the King and Queen.

It’s believed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have not been invited to attend the event.

According to leaked plans, neither the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nor Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will take part in the procession.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will also be sitting out the procession, plans reveal.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.

While Buckingham Palace has remained tight-lipped about the upcoming extravaganza, it did tease that the crowning will be a scaled-back affair.

The 74-year-old’s coronation will “reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future while being rooted in long-standing traditions and pageantry,” Buckingham Palace has previously said.

“The King asked for it to be more modest,” Royal author Hugo Vickers told the outlet. “This is a greatly pared-down procession.”

The royal trio will reportedly join their grandfather and Queen Consort Camilla after the ceremony.

The procession is set to be a third of the size Queen Elizabeth’s 1953 coronation was.

King Charles, who was just four when his late mother was crowned aged 25, attended just parts of the three-hour-long service and did not have a formal role on the big day.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex — who recently received their invitations to the May ceremony — are still mulling over whether or not they will make the 5,459-mile-long trip.

If they do go, the exiled royals will be met with a “cold shoulder” from senior members of the royal family, according to a report.

In January, Harry sensationally refused to commit to attending the event, saying “there’s a lot to be discussed” before he can make that decision.

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then,” he said in an interview. “But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.”

Camilla will be Queen, not Queen Consort after Charles’ coronation

Queen Consort Camilla is simply going to be Queen Camilla, according to a report.

The change in title will likely come after the May coronation of King Charles III, the Daily Mail reported, citing unnamed sources.

The former Camilla Parker-Bowles has been married to King Charles since 2005 and had been known as the Duchess of Cornwall until Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September.

When Charles ascended to the throne, she became Queen Consort.

The latest change in title goes against the dictate of the late queen, who outlined her wishes for Camilla in a February 2022 letter.

“And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me; and it is my sincere wish that, when the time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service,” the queen wrote.

The statement seemed to settle the issue of how Camilla would be addressed.

A signal of an impending change came last week when Camilla’s charity was rebranded as the “Queen’s Reading Room” rather than the “Duchess of Cornwall’s Reading Room.”

“There’s a view in the Palace that Queen Consort is cumbersome and it might be simpler for Camilla to be known just as the Queen when the time is right,” a source told the Daily Mail.

Charles and Camilla will be crowned together on May 6 at Westminster Abbey. Camilla’s grandchildren from her first marriage, who have been kept away from the spotlight, are expected to have a role in the ceremony.

King Charles III did half-naked headstands to manage pain

King Charles III would perform half-naked headstands to manage his chronic pain from old polo injuries, Prince Harry reveals in his tell-all memoir.

The Duke of Sussex details his father’s “constant neck and back pain” explains he’d dread accidentally opening the wrong door at Balmoral Castle out of fear for what was on the other side.

“Open the wrong door and you might burst in on Pa while his valet was helping him dress,” Harry writes in “Spare.”

“Worse, you might blunder in as he was doing his headstands. Prescribed by his physio, these exercises were the only effective remedy for the constant pain in Pa’s neck and back.”

Prince Harry writes in “Spare” that his father would perform the move “daily, in a pair of boxers.”

Harry, 38, shares that his father performed the headstands “daily, in a pair of boxers” while “propped against a door or hanging from a bar like a skilled acrobat.”

“If you set one little finger on the knob you would hear him begging from the other side, ‘No! No! Don’t open! Please God don’t open!’”

It’s unclear if the 74-year-old monarch is still performing the acrobatic move.

It’s unclear if Charles, 74, is still performing his daily ritual.

Buckingham Palace hasn’t commented on any of the claims made in the redheaded royal’s memoir.

While Harry feels more than comfortable to share what took place behind the king’s door, he also admits that he isn’t “currently” in touch with his family, including his father and his brother, Prince William.

Buckingham Palace has yet to respond to any of Prince Harry’s claims.

The renegade royal and wife Meghan Markle are hoping for a “private” and “constructive conversation” with his family in the future.

“I really look forward to having that family element back,” he continued. “I look forward to having a relationship with my brother. I look forward to having a relationship with my father and other members of my family.”

King Charles to Diana after Harry’s birth: ‘My work is done’

Sparing no drama.

Prince Harry reportedly claims in his memoir, “Spare,” that King Charles III told Princess Diana that his work was “done” right after their second child’s 1984 birth.

According to The Guardian’s leaked extract of the explosive book, the Duke of Sussex writes that on the day he was born, his dad celebrated the “wonderful” news by telling Diana, “Now you’ve given me an heir and a spare — my work is done.”

The alleged quote refers to the British royal family’s line of succession, with Charles’ eldest son, Prince William, being first in line to the throne and therefore the “heir apparent.”

Meanwhile, his second-born son, Harry, has been labeled the “spare.”

Now that William has married Kate Middleton and welcomed three children — Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4 — Harry is now fifth in line to the throne.

The former military pilot’s long-awaited memoir has stirred up much drama for the royal family ahead of its Jan. 10 release, with Harry making several bombshell claims about his kin.

The duke alleges his father called him a “spare” on the day he was born.

Page Six exclusively reported on Wednesday that Harry accuses William and Kate, both 40, of playing a part in his infamous decision to wear a Nazi uniform to a costume party in 2005.

Harry’s anti-Semitic outfit caused serious backlash for the royal, who said in last month’s “Harry & Meghan” docuseries that it was one of the “biggest mistakes” of his life.

Harry does not hold back in his upcoming memoir, “Spare.”

In addition to calling William his “beloved brother and archnemesis” in the impending book, Harry also alleges that William physically attacked him after getting into a heated argument over his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2019.

William described the “Suits” alum as “difficult,” “rude” and “abrasive” during the Nottingham Cottage incident, The Guardian reported Wednesday.

The Prince of Wales allegedly lunged at his brother “so fast” amid the argument, with Harry writing, “He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.”

“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me,” he adds. “I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back as senior royals in 2020 and have since moved to California with son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 1. Since their exit, tensions have been high between Harry and his brother, as well as with Charles.

His relationship with William and Charles has been rocky since quitting the royal family in 2020.

The leader of the Commonwealth, 74, reportedly wants to make amends with his youngest son.

“Those close to the king insist that he has always made clear how much he loves both of his sons, keeping communication channels open throughout the last few years, despite the many barbs from California,” sources recently told the Telegraph.

The insiders noted that Harry’s relationship with Charles has “occasionally been tense,” but the monarch has “reiterated that his door remains open and that the duke and [Meghan Markle] are welcome at any time.”

Harry and the former actress, 41, are reportedly invited to King Charles’ coronation but the duke has declined to confirm their attendance.

Prince Harry refuses to commit to attending King Charles’ coronation

Prince Harry has sensationally refused to commit to attending his father’s historic coronation in May.

In a second trailer of his upcoming bombshell interview with ITV’s Tom Bradby, the Duke of Sussex said “there’s a lot to be discussed” before he can make that decision.

“There’s a lot that can happen between now and then,” Harry said. “But, the door is always open. The ball is in their court.”

“There’s a lot to be discussed and I really hope that they’re willing to sit down and talk about it,” he added.

When asked about his brother’s reaction to his constant — and high-profile — bashing of the firm since quitting royal duties in 2020, Harry responded, “He’d probably say all sorts of different things.”

“I don’t know that staying silent is ever going to make things better,” he added.

The clip was shared hours after The Guardian published an extract from Harry’s upcoming memoir “Spare” in which he alleges that he was left battered and bruised when Prince William tossed him to the floor in a bitter fight two months before he and Meghan Markle left the royal family.

King Charles’ coronation is set to take place in May later this year.

The now-Prince of Wales wanted to speak with his brother about “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their relationship and struggles with the press, which he pointedly blamed on his brother’s new wife Markle, Harry wrote in the memoir to be released Jan. 10.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle demand royal summit, apology

They are making a royal fuss about it.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle demanded Saturday to have a royal summit with the entire British Royal family and push for an apology regarding the alleged treatment at their hands, reports The Sunday Times.

Following their bombshell Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” — which dropped numerous bombshells — the former royals said they want to “sit down with the royal family”  and address their grievances.

“Nothing like that was ever done when Harry and Meghan raised various concerns — no meeting, formal apology or taking responsibility or accountability,” a source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said. “That is hard to swallow — 100% yes they’d like to have a meeting.”

According to palace insiders, the former royals are attempting to reconcile with King Charles and the rest of the family ahead of his coronation in May — which Harry and Meghan are expected to attend.

Sources close to Prince William say that the Prince of Wales has no plans to speak to his brother.

“Things have been very strained for a while,” said the source. “There is sadness at where things currently are with his brother … and there’s a memoir coming.”

Buckingham Palace has yet to issue a response to the claims made in the duo’s Netflix docuseries.

UK government advises King Charles III not to attend UN’s COP27

King Charles III will skip the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference — also known as COP27 — in Egypt next month.

The king — widely known for his decades of environmental activism as prince — was advised by new Prime Minister, Liz Truss, against making the journey.

“It is no mystery that the King was invited to go there,” a royal source told the Times of London. “He had to think very carefully about what steps to take for his first overseas tour, and he is not going to be attending COP.”

The 27th annual conference would have been Charles’ first overseas trip as Britain’s sovereign, according to the paper.

The king was reportedly anticipating attending the conference and will likely be “personally disappointed” that he’s had to call off the trip.

The source added that the government pushed for Charles to remain at home “in the spirit of being ever-mindful as King that he acts on government advice.”

Charles, 73, has been involved in environmental causes since the 1970s and has emerged as one of the world leaders at the forefront of climate change issues, earning him some support from younger generations despite being labeled “out of touch” due to his age.

At the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2020, the then-prince told the Times that “global warming, climate change and the devastating loss of biodiversity” is “the greatest threats humanity has ever faced.” The same day, he praised Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, calling her “remarkable.”

Last year, Queen Elizabeth II attended COP26, held in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she praised the environmental efforts of Charles and his son, Prince William.

“I, for one, hope that this conference will be one of those rare occasions where everyone will have the chance to rise above the politics of the moment, and achieve true statesmanship,” she said at the time.

Prince Harry making amends with royal family was one of Queen’s ‘wishes’

Queen Elizabeth II never gave up hope that Prince Harry would reconcile with his family.

“The Queen adored Harry right to the end, and Harry adored her,” royal author Robert Hardman told People in an article published on Friday. “I think she was one of the conduits between Windsor and California and it would have been one of her dearest wishes that they patch things up.”

As many know, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been distant from the family since they announced in January 2020 that they no longer wanted to be working royals. They went on to settle in Montecito, Calif.

Harry’s frayed relationship with his family hit a new low in March 2021 when he and Markle sat down for an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. In it, Harry, 38, criticized the way his father raised him and expressed pity that his father and brother, Prince William, were “trapped” in their royal roles.

In the same interview, Markle tearfully claimed that she had contemplated suicide while pregnant with their son, Archie, due to the pressure of dealing with life as a royal and her treatment at the hands of the British media.

The Duchess says she went to a senior member of the Palace for help and was rebuffed.

The “Suits” alum, 41, also recently gave another controversial interview in which she claimed that “just by existing,” she and Harry were “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been in Europe for several charitable events when Queen Elizabeth died at age 96 on Sept. 8. The California-based couple stayed in the U.K. for the ceremonies that proceeded and flew out the day after the funeral.

Royal watchers had hoped the days between the Queen’s death and her funeral would help heal fractured relationships.

They were thrilled when the estranged brothers, along with their wives, greeted crowds gathered outside Windsor Castle, two days after the Queen’s passing.

But several missteps seemed to have perhaps put a damper on any détente.

Harry was distraught when the military uniform he was allowed to wear to stand vigil by his grandmother’s casket had her initials removed.

“He is heartbroken,” a friend told the Sunday Times of London. “To remove his grandmother’s initials feels very intentional.”

So “devastated” was he, the friend said, that the prince nearly donned a morning suit to avoid the “humiliation.”

The Duke and Duchess were also invited and then “uninvited” from a state reception for world leaders and foreign royals. Page Six exclusively reported that they learned of the disinvite after reading press reports.

The couple was also snubbed in the seating arrangement at the funeral, where they did not sit in the front row with the King and William, 40, but rather in the corner of the second row next to his cousin, Princess Beatrice.

“You’d think that all members of the family would unite and support the King, especially,” a source close to King Charles said. “Perhaps some wounds can be healed in the process.”

“She knew that conflicts were a part of life, and she didn’t hold grudges. Most of all, she wanted to see her family happy,” the insider added.
