Secret Invasion Trailer: Nick Fury’s War Pulls in Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman

Secret Invasion trailer is here. At Disney’s D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios unveiled the first trailer for Secret Invasion, an upcoming live-action series that will kick off Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen. The Secret Invasion trailer brings back Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), his Captain Marvel foe-turned-ally Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), former SHIELD ally Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), CIA agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), and the Avenger War Machine/ James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), alongside introducing the new characters played by Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke. But we still don’t have names for either of the latter two.

Nick Fury (Jackson) walks out of a spaceship at the start of the Secret Invasion trailer, before walking into a bar I’m guessing is in Eastern Europe, given the language on the signage at the door. “For years, you’ve been avoiding Earth. I have called for your help plenty of other times and you’ve been pretty content to let those calls go straight to voicemail,” Maria Hill (Smulders) says to Fury as he sits down. Fury — who has grown quite a beard in the years he’s been away — nonchalantly replies: “Yeah well, this is different.”

Elsewhere in the Secret Invasion trailer, Fury questions James Rhodes (Cheadle) how much he knows about his security detail. There’s a brief shot of Everett K. Ross (Freeman) — who’s also part of the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — before Talos (Mendelsohn) comes on screen to warn Fury: “We’ve got to be very careful now.” Cut to another scene, where Talos is confronted by a dozen lookalikes — they are clearly all Skrulls.

Following an explosion in a different shot — also somewhere in Eastern Europe — the Secret Invasion trailer introduces Olivia Colman’s character who tells Fury: “You’re in no shape for this fight that lies before us.” As Rhodes and Hill walk through corridors or slink through dimly-lit alleyways respectively, Emilia Clarke shows up to say: “This is just the beginning.”

It’s unclear who she’s speaking to, but it’s Fury who responds via voiceover: “This is my war, alone. And I’m the last person standing between them and what they really want.” The Secret Invasion trailer ends with a Skrull (not disguised) screaming, a helicopter firing at a convoy, and Talos asking the question on everyone’s minds: “And what is that?” Unfortunately, there’s no answer, as the Secret Invasion trailer cuts to title card.

On stage at D23 Expo 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also revealed that Secret Invasion will lead straight into the six-episode Cheadle-led Armor Wars, which has yet to begin production.

Secret Invasion is out in early 2023 on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar.

Thor: Love and Thunder Disney+ Hotstar Release Date Set for September 8

Thor: Love and Thunder will release Thursday, September 8 on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar, Marvel Studios announced on Monday. The latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — succeded by the new series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, airing now — arrives 64 days after its global premiere on July 7 in India, the US, and elsewhere. That’s 17 days more than the 47-day theatrical window Disney gave to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Similar to the theatrical release, Thor: Love and Thunder will be available to stream in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on Disney+ Hotstar in India.

As per Marvel.com, Thor: Love and Thunder will also receive the expanded IMAX treatment on Disney+. The company unveiled the IMAX Enhanced feature back in November, making this Taika Waititi film the latest addition in the group of 15 other MCU movies. Subscribers will be treated to a 1.90:1 aspect ratio, offering 26 percent more picture for select scenes. Similar to Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which would switch aspect ratios depending on how epic or large-scale a shot looks. It is worth noting that IMAX Enhanced has never been advertised or available on Disney+ Hotstar.

Thor: Love and Thunder Review: A Madcap Rush That Underuses Everyone

Written and directed by Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder follows the titular Norse God (Chris Hemsworth) embarking on a quest for inner peace, following his retirement in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. The self-help journey is soon interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher — played by Christian Bale — a galactic killer seeking the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, he enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster/ Mighty Thor, who now wields Mjolnir, the magical hammer fit for those who are “worthy”. Together, they set off on an intergalactic journey to stop the bleach-skinned Gorr and uncover the mystery behind his vengeance.

Thor: Love and Thunder stars an ensemble cast including Natalie Portman as Foster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jaimie Alexander as Sif, Taika Waititi as Korg, and Russell Crowe as Zeus, his first appearance in an MCU movie. Despite dinged reviews — and word of mouth criticising the CGI — Thor: Love and Thunder has collected an impressive $737.1 million (about Rs. 5,883 crore) globally. This makes it the sixth-highest-grossing movie of 2022, with Top Gun: Maverick leading the pack with almost double the total gross.

Thor: Love and Thunder is out September 8 on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar wherever available. In India, the Marvel movie will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Spider-Man Remastered PC Mod That Replaced In-Game Pride Flags Shut Down by Modding Sites

A user-created game modification — or mod — designed to replace in-game pride flags from the recently-released PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, was reportedlt taken down by NexusMods and ModDB, two of the biggest online sites for PC game mods. Both sites have confirmed that the ‘troll’ mod, which was uploaded from a new account, had been removed.

According to a report by The Verge, popular game mod hosting site NexusMods explained in a blog post that the mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was uploaded to its site by a brand-new account with no modding history, which the site’s administrators suspect is a secondary account for one of the site’s users, or a ‘sock puppet’ account.

The mod replaced the pride flags found around New York City with the US flag on Marvel’s Spider Man Remastered. Along with removing the mod, both “the sock puppet account and the user’s main account” have been banned by NexusMods.

“It was very clearly done deliberately to be a troll mod. The fact the user needed to make a sock puppet like a coward to upload the mod showed their intent to troll and that they knew it would not be allowed,” NexusMods stated.

“Had they not been a coward and had they used their main account instead, we would have simply removed the mod and told them that we did not want to host it, only banning them if they re-uploaded it again after being fairly warned. The creation of the sock puppet removed any doubt and made it a very easy decision for us,” they added.

ModDB, which hosts mods for PC games like NexusMods, also announced via a tweet that it had removed the mod. “ModDB is an inclusive environment for all and we do not permit targeting marginalized groups. Our content moderation is largely automated but when identified, we have a zero-tolerance policy for this kind of content,” the website said in the tweet.

Tatiana Maslany ‘She-Hulk’ Interview

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is home to hundreds of superheroes, with more introduced every year. And with so many heroes assembled in one franchise, a hero has really got to stand out in order to make audiences take notice. Tatiana Maslany shouldn’t have any problem standing out when she inevitably teams up with the Avengers (it hasn’t been officially announced yet but, come on): as the lead of Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Maslany gets to play a character who is chartreuse, 6’7″, and is probably the only superhero whose power suits are made of fabric and not a vibranium alloy.

This marvelous career move is an unlikely one for the Emmy-winning Maslany, who’s most known for playing multiple, drastically different roles on the clone series Orphan Black. That cult hit gave Maslany a devoted fanbase and the unwavering respect of anyone who ever watched her act against herself as two dramatically different clones. As Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who takes on a striking family resemblance to her cousin Bruce Banner after an accident, Maslany’s taking on a completely new set of challenges: not only is she spending half of her time on set in a motion capture suit with a camera mounted to her head, she’s also playing a Marvel superhero unlike any we’ve ever seen before.

Ahead of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s big premiere, Decider got the chance to chat with Maslany about those challenges, as well as the changes made to She-Hulk for her Disney+ debut, and the iconic ’90s sitcom characters that most inspired her take on Jennifer Walters.

Decider: The first episode includes an explanation for why Jennifer Walters retains her consciousness when she becomes a Hulk because women have been conditioned to regulate their emotions, lest they face extremely negative consequences. What was it like playing that scene, wherein Jen explains this to Bruce?

Tatiana Maslany: I mean, to me that scene is one of the easiest scenes I’ve ever gotten to play because the truth of what she’s saying is so resonant to me. [Head writer] Jessica [Gao] wrote that scene obviously from a very experienced place, a deep place. And she did it with so much humor and such a light touch. It really is just speaking the truth that I think so many of us have experienced. It is one of the the moments in the show that I’m like, this is so special to see this in this larger superhero story. So much of the allegory of superheroes is always rooted in these smaller human moments, and so to get to really speak to that was very cool.

What I really love about your performance is that even when you’re She Hulk, you do so much subtle acting just with your face — even though your face is green and CG. Were you ever afraid to go subtle with your reactions when you know that you’re a giant Hulk?

I mean, that’s a great question. The thought of, “Oh, they’re gonna take [this part of my performance] away and build it into the character” was like, “I wonder how it’ll turn out.” But so early we got to see these amazing renderings that the VFX people had done, and the subtlety was — I felt so empowered by the the subtlety of it. It was a simple moment where I could see that [She-Hulk] was breathing and that she was thinking, and I was like, “Oh, great. They’re capturing everything. There’s no moment that they’re not seeing and that they’re not expressing.” So it really allowed for me to just to just be [subtle].

The way you play Jennifer, even though she’s a Type-A lawyer, she’s worked so hard and nothing undercuts that, but she’s also cool. Usually a character is either serious or funny, and Jen feels like both. How did you bring those traits together and make it seem so natural?

That’s a testament to the script. Jen felt so real and complicated to me and so unexpected in that great way. The way I feel about it, she has this buoyant femininity, but also [she has] this, I wanna say Bart Simpson vibe to her, a little bit of a sideways baseball cap. She’s a little mischievous and bringing that into, like you’re saying, this trope of the career woman who’s kind of impossible to talk to. There’s something sort of Elaine Benes [from Seinfeld] about Jen, you know? She was a touchstone for me because [Elaine] is a career woman but she’s also kind of a mess, and sort of a boy and a girl — she’s everything.

We know that Daredevil is coming back. What was it like seeing Charlie Cox in that suit again?

Yeah, It was wild. I think what’s so cool about Charlie is that he takes this character that he’s developed over this very different [Netflix] series and brings him into our series, which is ostensibly a goofy sitcom. But he does it with so much openness and playfulness and the integrity of the character stays so true. I’m so excited for people to see this duo because it’s so not what we’d expect. It’s just really special.

Jameela Jamil plays Titania, who’s long been She-Hulk’s archenemy in the comics. What makes Jameela’s version of Titania the perfect foil for your version of She-Hulk?

I’ve come to realize [Titania’s] the shadow. She is Jen’s shadow, in the Jungian sense. She embodies everything that Jen doesn’t want to be, which is a person who capitalizes on their superhero-ness, who capitalizes on their fame, the attention she gets, and courts it. I think that there’s a part of Jen, that as much as she resists, that is also like, “I kind of want to be that,” you know? [Titania] embodies that great, perfect villain counter, which is facing the deepest, darkest parts of yourself.

Lastly, I have to ask: when She-Hulk comes home at night, what is she putting on? What is she streaming?

I feel like we’ve been talking about Love Island a lot recently. I think she’s watching Love Island UK. I think she’s got a pot of ice cream on her stomach and she’s just chowing down while watching everybody and their sexual tension.

This interview has been edited for clarity and length.

She-Hulk Episode 1 Post-Credits Scene, Explained

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 1 — now streaming on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar — ushers in a new superhero into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Or rather, a new superpowered being. Given the 30-something Los Angeles lawyer Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) has no interest in being a superhero. As she says repeatedly on She-Hulk episode 1 to her cousin Bruce Banner/ Smart Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), all she wants is to focus on her career. But alongside those complaints and being trained in the ways of a Hulk, the new Marvel series makes room for MCU jokes and family banter.

Early into the first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law — directed by Kat Coiro, and written by Jessica Gao — as the cousins head out on a road trip, Walters wonders out loud if Steve Rogers/ Captain America (Chris Evans) died a virgin. She then runs through the packed history of Cap’s life, even though both Banner and the audience are fully aware of it. He fought Nazis in World War II, at the end of which, he was frozen in ice. And after he returned, Rogers was involved in one world-threatening disaster after another, and that was when he wasn’t busy running from the powers that-be.

Warning: spoilers ahead for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 1. Proceed at your own risk.

That conversation is soon literally derailed by the arrival of a Sakaaran spaceship, which inadvertently causes Walters to become She-Hulk. But even though her life is entirely upended post the accident, the topic of Cap’s virginity is still on Walters’ mind, as the She-Hulk episode 1 post-credits scene reveals.

She-Hulk episode 1 mid-credits scene, explained

The first episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is divided between Walters’ home city of Los Angeles, and her Hulk training at an undisclosed place in Mexico where Banner spent most of the Blip. While She-Hulk episode 1 ends in a LA courtroom, the post-credits scene takes us back to the cousins’ drinking escapades at Hulk’s handmade bar in Mexico.

Thanks to Hulk’s metabolism powers, they can drink more than most. Still, Walters is overcome with emotion and close to tears, as you might expect from someone who’s clearly had too much to drink. In that state, Walters brings up the Captain America again as she says: “This is so sad. Steve Rogers did so much for his country and he never got to experience sex.”

“Like did you see that ass? Like, that ass did not deserve to die a virgin. It’s, like, so sad,” she adds. The repeated comments finally prompt Smart Hulk to reply: “Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity to a girl on the 1943 USO tour.” Turns out, Walters was playacting to get Banner to spill the beans. “Yes, I knew it!” Walters screams, reverting back to her non-crying, non-drunk self.

And then, in a booming voice, Walters adds: “Captain America fuuuuu—,” just as the She-Hulk episode 1 post-credits scene cuts. There’s no setup here for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2, it’s just an extension to a gag.

She-Hulk episode 2 releases August 25 at 12:30pm IST/ 12am PT on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar.

Attorney at Law’ Premieres Soon, but Not Today

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is not only the newest Marvel Studios TV series, it’s also the MCU’s first outright comedy series and it is the first show since Hawkeye to have an OG Avenger in its cast. The series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner (a.k.a. the Hulk, a.k.a. Mark Ruffalo). She’s a lawyer and, thanks to a big whoops, also a Hulk. No wonder you’re excited to watch the show! There’s nothing else like it in the MCU — and it’s out now!

Oh — wait, is it out right now? It’s not? Okay, let’s get to the bottom of this and figure out…

When does She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiere on Disney+?

Not today! It actually debuts on Thursday, August 18 at 3:00 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT.

But don’t Marvel shows always come out on Wednesdays?

Yeah, Marvel shows have premiered on Wednesdays ever since the premiere of Loki back in the summer of 2021. Now the release day for new episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is Thursday.

Wasn’t She-Hulk: Attorney at Law supposed to come out on August 17?

Yes it was! Your memory is correct. The series was originally announced as premiering on Wednesday, August 17 but it was moved back a day to Thursday, August 18 just a couple weeks ahead of the premiere. So, the new premiere date is August 18.

Photo: Disney+

And new She-Hulk episodes will come out every Thursday?

Yes, new episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere on Disney+ every Thursday until October 13.

Why was the She-Hulk premiere date moved back to Thursday?

Disney hasn’t given a reason for the date change, but we can take a number of guesses. It’s possible that Disney wants to give its Marvel and Star Wars shows their own premiere days, instead of releasing new episodes of She-Hulk and Andor (premiering September 21) on the same day. It’s also likely that Disney+ wants to offer new content on more days so that users will log into the service multiple days a week instead of just on Wednesday. There’s also the possibility that, considering all the hubbub surrounding the future of HBO following its acquisition by Discovery, Disney+ sees an opening on Thursdays, which was traditionally when HBO Max released episodes. Hell, maybe Marvel just wanted to give the VFX team an extra day to work on the show. These are all guesses and the real reason could be all, some, or none of the above.

There’s one thing we do know: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Thursday, August 18 at 3:00 a.m. PT / 12 a.m. ET.

What If…? Gets Season 3 Renewal, Spider-Man: Freshman Year and X-Men ‘97 Details Revealed

What if…?, Marvel Studios Animation’s Emmy-nominated series, has been renewed for Season 3. The announcement was made during a San Diego Comic-Con panel — ahead of the Season 2 premiere, which is on track to release exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar in early 2023. The studio also confirmed a sequel to Spider-Man: Freshman Year and the revival of X-Men ‘97 — which aims to continue the story of the original cartoon. All these shows are slated to release on Disney’s streaming service.

Director Bryan Andrews and writer AC Bradley made the announcement, following the surprise screening of a random What If…? Season 2 episode. It continues our journey with The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) as a guide, exploring the vast stretches of the multiverse, introducing new takes on beloved characters, and spinning reality to tell a series of wondrous tales set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Actors from the live-action movies reprise their roles as voice cast as well. Earlier this month, the series received 3 Emmy Award nominations — Outstanding Animated Program and two nominations in the Character Voice-Over Performance category for Chadwick Boseman and Jeffrey Wright.

Producer Jeff Tramell also revealed some images from the upcoming Spider-Man: Freshman Year animated show — set to release in 2024, exclusively on Disney+. The concept art features a classic, old-time comic book style, and is set in its own distinct universe. Notable changes include Peter’s relationship with Norman Osborne — who will serve as a mentor to the future web crawler.

Doctor Strange will also serve as a supporting character in the series while the other doc — Octavius is the antagonist. Charlie Cox will be reprising his role as Daredevil, and throughout the series, fans will be treated to multiple Spider-Man costumes. The panel also greenlit a second season for the show, titled Spider-Man: Sophomore Year.

X-Men ‘97 is another animated series heading over to Disney’s streaming service — continuing the story from the original cartoon. Fans in India might recognise this show from the TV channel, Jetix. This marks Disney’s first mutant-related project acquiring 20th Century Fox.

The show is expected to release in Fall 2023, with a second season already greenlit. The X-Men ‘97 sequel lineup features Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops, Storm, Jean Gret, Beast, and Jubilee. All characters will have the original design, albeit digitally drawn — resulting in odd outlines. The panel also showcased the rogues gallery, including the likes of Magneto, Mister Sinister, Emma Frost, Callisto, and Sebastian Shaw.

What if…?, Spider-Man: Freshman Year, and X-Men ‘97 will release for streaming, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

Captain America: New World Order Announced With May 2024 Release Date

Captain America 4 has a title and a release date. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Marvel Studios announced that the fourth movie — now with Anthony Mackie in the lead as Sam Wilson, previously also the Falcon — is called Captain America: New World Order and is slated to release May 3, 2024. It will be part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Alongside, Marvel Studios gave us the briefest of teases: “Sam Wilson is the new man with a plan.” That doesn’t tell us anything, though I’m sure Captain America: New World Order will play off The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Especially given how that MCU Disney+ series ended. The series finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) recruiting John Walker (Wyatt Russell) into her new team and dubbing him US Agent. And then, in a post-credits scene attached to the same episode, Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) — who had earlier revealed herself to be the villain Power Broker — got herself a full pardon from the US government and embedded herself in the CIA. Expect them to create chaos on Captain America: New World Order.

Though everyone expects Louis-Dreyfus, Russell, and VanCamp to star on Captain America: New World Order alongside the more-or-less set Mackie, Marvel Studios stopped short of confirming any cast members. The Disney-owned Hollywood giant also didn’t confirm the names of writers and directors who are reportedly involved with the project. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman and episode 5 writer Dalan Musson are said to be co-scripting Captain America: New World Order, with Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) set as director.

The fourth Captain America movie is one of six confirmed movies part of the MCU’s Phase Five, after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever closes out Phase Four on November 11. Paul Rudd-led Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicks off Phase Five in February 2023, and it will be followed by James Gunn’s final chapter Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in May 2023, The Marvels with Brie Larson and Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel in July 2023, Mahershala Ali-led Blade in November 2023, and the newly-confirmed Thunderbolts — also out of San Diego Comic-Con — in July 2024.

Captain America: New World Order is out May 3, 2024 in cinemas worldwide.

Thor: Love and Thunder: Natalie Portman Says ‘Whole Sequences, Planets, and Characters’ Cut

Natalie Portman has revealed that Thor: Love and Thunder — the new Marvel movie out now — leaves out “whole sequences, planets, and characters”. This includes some emotional scenes between Chris Hemsworth’s titular superhero and his astrophysicist former girlfriend Jane Foster, played by Portman. In a new interview, the actress opened up about how director Taika Waititi shot multiple versions of the same scenes for the fourth Thor movie, allowing the cast to work as spontaneously as possible. The Academy Award-winning performer further stated that too much “good stuff” failed to make it to the final version.

Portman told IndieWire: “I don’t want to spoil anything, but there are some very emotional scenes. The interesting thing was how we had room to workshop them. We filmed 20 different versions of [one key scene]. There’s a few pivotal emotional scenes, but we did really, really different things, many different times.”

Portman also revealed that some of her scenes with Tessa Thompson, who plays the king of New Asgard and Foster’s new friend Valkyrie, too met a similar fate. The actress jokingly said that the edited scenes contain enough material for a Marvel Cinematic Universe spin-off featuring the two characters.

“I’d be really, really happy if we could see that [spin-off]. Because there certainly is kind of a missing period in the film. … I feel like you don’t necessarily see how they’ve become close [in the film], and so I would definitely be open and excited to see that,” Portman said.

Thor: Love and Thunder revolves around Hemsworth’s Thor and Portman’s Mighty Thor as they try to take down Christian Bale’s Gorr The God Butcher, a menacing killer. The new Thor movie also features the likes of Russell Crowe as the king of the Olympians Zeus, Jaimie Alexander as the God of Thunder’s childhood friend Sif, and Waititi as the Kronan gladiator Korg.

The Guardians of the Galaxy feature in Thor: Love and Thunder, with Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper reprising their respective MCU roles as Peter Quill/ Star-Lord, Mantis, Drax, Nebula, Kraglin, Groot, and Rocket.

Thor: Love and Thunder is already out in India, a day before the fourth Thor movie debuts in cinemas in the US on July 8.

Chris Evans Says Would Love to Return for MCU’s Fantastic Four as Human Torch

Chris Evans is interested in reprising his role as Johnny Storm/ The Human Torch from the 2005 superhero movie Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, as the character didn’t quite get its due back in the day. Moreover, he would prefer this over another run as Captain America, the cult character he last played in the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, even though the man with the shield will always be “so precious” to him.

Evans told MTV News, ”You know what I mean? Cap is so precious to me. And you know, I almost don’t want to disrupt what a beautiful experience that was. But Johnny Storm, I feel like he didn’t really get his day. That was before Marvel really found its footing. So, I loved that role and, you know, who knows?”

While Evans’ words have garnered a fair deal of attention, it is unlikely that we’ll get to see him set our screens on fire as Human Torch anytime in the near future. For starters, he hasn’t been approached for the Fantastic Four reboot, which was to be directed by Jon Watts before he decided to work on the Jude Law-led Disney+ series Skeletal Crew. Moreover, it is said that Evans might play Captain America at least one more time in a future MCU project even though he has said that it would be “tall order” to convince him to go down that route.

Evans comments, either way, come at a time when he is going through a busy phase on the work front. He voiced the titular character in the animated sci-fi adventure movie Lightyear, which is playing cinemas globally, but hasn’t been able to make a strong impact at the box office. Evans will soon be seen alongside Ryan Gosling in the spy-thriller The Gray Man, which releases July 22 on Netflix. He also has the action adventure Ghosted and the action-comedy Red One in his kitty.
