Teresa reveals why she didn’t want Melissa’s family at wedding

Holding on to grudges.

Teresa Giudice revealed that she didn’t invite Melissa Gorga’s family to her wedding because of a series of social media comments they made a decade ago.

“OK, I guess I’ll be honest. What happened 10 years ago is I got busy, and I guess they got jealous,” Giudice said in a confessional on Tuesday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

Giudice’s comment referred to her being cast as part of the original Jersey ladies in 2009, while Gorga didn’t get to join until Season 3.

The episode then flashed back to the infamous 2011 christening where Gorga’s sister Lysa Simpson told Giudice that her invitation to the family event was a “technicality.”

“Melissa’s mother and sisters were writing stuff about me on social media, and I know my mother would never write about anybody on social media, so I always just kept my distance after that,” Giudice, 50, added in the confessional.

Gorga’s other sister, Kim Marco Pirrella, had written in 2011 that she liked Giudice “before all the craziness n diva n lies.”

And back in June 2012, Gorga’s mother, Donna Marco, had tweeted, “Here’s how you know teresa is lying, she’s faking.” Marco had also written in an Instagram comment that she was “upset with Teresa and the girls for the hurt Joe [Gorga] is going through.”

Giudice explained that she hasn’t forgotten the things her sister-in-law’s family said about her after the explosive 2011 christening.

“I’ll forgive, but I never forget,” Giudice ominously concluded in the confessional.

Giudice’s now husband, Luis Ruelas, had a different approach to the situation and even apologized to Donna before asking her to not “hold it against me” during a group luau party at the Gorga’s Jersey Shore house.

“Never! I’m happy for you, I’m happy for her,” Donnna said while hugging Ruelas, 47.

Without talking to Giudice first, Ruelas apologized to Melissa’s mom for not inviting her to the wedding.

Ruelas later told Giudice about his conversation with Donna and she gave him the green light to invite her after all.

“I’d love to invite Donna! Would you be mad at me?” Ruelas asked his future wife, to which she shook her head no.

Ruelas went to go invite Donna, but the olive branch couldn’t be fully extended as she had already left the party.

Melissa and Joe seemingly did not directly address Giudice about not inviting her side of the family.

“Do I wish that Luis would’ve discussed it with me prior to speaking Donna? Of course,” Giudice said in a confessional. “But I love Luis, [and] I know he’s trying to be a peacemaker.”

However, Giudice subtly shaded her brother, Joe Gorga, by saying that “all of this could’ve been avoided” with an honest conversation, but Joe “loves a spectacle.”

The couple’s decision to not invite Melissa’s mother and sisters previously led to an explosive argument between Joe, 48, and Ruelas at a boys’ night.

Joe previously called out his future brother-in-law for not giving his in-law the “respect” of an invitation.

“It’s like ‘F–k you, you mean nothing to me,’” Gorga told Ruelas before threatening to “break your f–king balls!”

Since Marco had left the party, it’s unclear if Giudice and Ruelas did invite her, but in the end, it didn’t matter.

As Page Six previously reported, the entire Gorga family skipped out on Giudice and Ruelas’ wedding on Aug. 6 after their tumultuous relationship reached an all-time low.

The two families have yet to repair their relationship.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Giudice’s New Year’s resolution admission comes amid her ongoing feud with brother Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga. Tension began after the Gorgas skipped Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.

Ruelas, 47, seemed supportive of his wife’s resolution, telling the outlet they plan to do a burning ceremony with friends.

“We’re going to go to a place where there’s a little fire, and everyone’s going to have pieces of paper,” he explained. “We’re going to write down some things we want to let go of in 2022. Burn it and let it go, walk away holding hands, don’t look back.”

He added, “It kind of cleans out your mental storage, cleans out what’s of the forefront of your mind, really.”

As for what Giudice does hope for in the upcoming year, the reality star emphasized “peace, love, happiness” and health.

“Life is short, it’s very valuable, so you have to value the time that you have on this earth and surround yourself with good people, good vibes, people that are happy for you,” she said, adding that it’s a lesson she also wants to teach her children.

“I just want to have a great time, because being in this world, you get used and abused, and Louie, he’s new at it, so it’s like I’m protecting him from all that,” Giudice concluded.

“I’ve been doing this for a while now, and so, I know the games, I know everything that comes along with it, unfortunately.”

Page Six previously reported that the Gorgas were skipping Giudice and Ruelas’ nuptials on Aug. 6.

Unfortunately, there was no Christmas miracle that reunited Giudice and Ruelas with the Gorgas, both 43, as they didn’t celebrate the holidays together.

And while the four previously discussed their falling out several times, fans will finally be able to see the chaos themselves when it all goes down on Season 13 of “RHONJ.”

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle reveal when royals turned on them

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reveal in their Netflix docuseries the exact moment the royal family felt threatened by the duchess’ popularity.

Harry says the “first time the penny dropped” for his wife was when they attended a Remembrance Day event along with the other senior members of the family in November 2018 and all the press coverage focused on Markle.

“I went, ‘Oh, my God,’” Markle recalls in “Harry & Meghan,” which began streaming its final episodes Thursday, of seeing a copy of the Telegraph newspaper with her photo splashed on the cover the following morning.

“She was like, ‘But it’s not my fault,’” Harry chimes in, “and I said, ‘I know. And my mum felt the same way.’”

Prince Harry says Meghan Markle’s popularity upset the palace.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, was referring to Princess Diana revealing in her infamous 1995 “Panorama” interview that his father, King Charles III, was upset she took the lion’s share of attention and adulation during the former couple’s 1983 Australian royal tour.

Harry highlights a 2018 event to illustrate Markle’s fame.

Ironically, Markle’s pal Lucy Fraser claims the palace was unnerved by the reception the Duchess of Sussex, 41, received while visiting Australia in 2018.

“The internals at the palace were incredibly threatened by that,” Fraser says.

Markle was shocked when her image was splashed on newspapers over other senior members of the royal family.

Harry also takes a veiled dig at Charles, 74, and seemingly his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law Kate Middleton by implying that Markle’s popularity superseded the heirs to the crown.

“The issue is when someone who’s marrying in, who should be a supporting act, is then stealing the limelight or is doing the job better than the person who was born to do this, that upsets people,” he shares.

Harry compared his wife’s popularity to Princess Diana’s.

“It shifts the balance because you’ve been led to believe that the only way that your charities can succeed and the only way that your reputation can be grown or improved is if you’re the front page of those newspapers.

Markle has covered countless newspapers and magazines.

“That really broke my heart because I knew that it…

“But the media are the ones who choose who to put on the front page,” he adds.

Harry and Markle eventually stepped away from The Firm, giving up their royal duties in 2020 and moving to the US, where they now live with their two children: Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Jennette McCurdy reads email from abusive mom on ‘Red Table Talk’

Jennette McCurdy shared a disturbing email from her abusive late mother, Debbie McCurdy, during her “Red Table Talk” debut.

The actress, 30, read the message aloud to the Facebook Watch show’s co-hosts, Adrienne Banfield Norris, Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith, while discussing her new memoir, “I’m Glad My Mom Died.”

“I am so disappointed in you,” Debbie began the email, which was also included in the book.

“You used to be my perfect little angel, but now you are nothing more than a little … slut, a floozy, all used up,” Jennette read in People’s sneak peek of the upcoming episode, noting that her mom used “all caps” for the insults.

Debbie slammed the “iCarly” alum for being with a “hideous ogre of a man” and “rubbing his disgusting hairy stomach” on a “website called TMZ.”

Adrienne Banfield Norris, Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith reacted to the email with shock.

After calling Jennette a “conniving, evil … liar,” Debbie went on to write, “You look pudgier, too. It’s clear you’re eating your guilt. Thinking of you with his ding-dong inside of you makes me sick. Sick! I raised you better than this.”

Debbie asked where her “good little girl” had gone, adding, “Where did she go and who is this monster that has replaced her? You’re an ugly monster now. I told your brothers about you, and they all said they disown you just like I do. We want nothing to do with you.”

The email concluded, “P.S. Send money for a new fridge; ours broke.”

McCurdy initially shared the email in her memoir.

As Smith, 21, said, “Wow,” Jennette laughed at the message’s closing.

“The P.S. gets me,” the “Sam & Cat” alum said.

The mother-daughter pair were estranged by the time Debbie died in 2013. Seven years later, the former Nickelodeon star performed her one-woman show, “I’m Glad My Mom Died,” in Los Angeles and New York.

In interviews promoting her book of the same name, which was published in August, Jennette spoke candidly about the eating disorders she struggled with as her mom weighed her, measured her thighs and counted her calories.

“Grief for me toward my mom used to be really complicated,” the singer said on “Good Morning America” last month, explaining that writing the book played a huge role in her “healing” journey.

“I felt like she didn’t deserve my tears and my sadness since she was abusive, but it simplified in a really relieving way and now feels like I’m able to just miss her,” she said.

Jennette’s “Red Table Talk” episode premieres Wednesday.
