Samsung Offers Product Wedding Packages With Discounts: Galaxy Z Fold 5, Refrigerators, Neo QLED TVs, More

Samsung has introduced seasonal offers for its wide lineup of products in India, including smartphones, wearables, TVs, tablets, audio products and more. The company has launched a ‘New BigInnings’ programme to boost sales during the wedding season in the country. Under the programme, consumers will be offered curated product packages, which can be availed when buying three or more Samsung products. The programme will also bring special services to help consumers to set up their new home.

According to a Samsung press release, customers can avail a discount of seven percent while buying three or more Samsung products. The offers under the ‘New BigInnings’ programme are available throughout the wedding season, till February 29, 2024. The South Korean electronics giant is also providing affordable EMI options starting at Rs. 6,999.

The programme will bring discounts to a wide range of smartphones, home entertainment products, audio products, and more. Notably, the seven percent discount can be availed on a combination purchase of the latest Samsung foldables like Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, and wearables like the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Watch 6, and Galaxy Buds 2.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, launched in July, runs on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy SoC and sports a 7.6-inch AMOLED inner display, along with a 6.2-inch cover screen. The foldable uses Samsung’s new Flex Hinge with a dual rail structure. The 256GB variant of the foldable is priced in India at Rs. 1,54,999.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 also runs on the custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. It sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,640 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex inner display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The cover display is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED folder-shaped screen with 720×748 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The 256GB variant of the phone costs Rs. 99,999.

In addition to the smartphones and wearables, Samsung is also providing discounts on the combination purchase of its televisions like the Neo QLED TV, QLED TV, and Frame TV, alongside its line of refrigerators. Offers are also available on Samsung soundbars, ACs, washing machines, microwaves, and more.

Samsung’s wedding season packages can be availed on the Samsung website until February 29, 2024. In addition to the seven percent discount on the purchase of three or more products, the company is also offering a five percent discount upon buying two or more Samsung devices.

CES 2023: Samsung Adds New Lineup of Neo QLED TVs, MicroLED TVs, OLED TVs to Its Smart TV Portfolio

Samsung unveiled new Neo QLED, MicroLED, and OLED TV models on Wednesday ahead of CES 2022. The new portfolio is aimed to provide broader viewing options and premium picture quality for users, alongside offering multi-device integration. New Neo QLED models come in 4K and 8K resolutions and they use Quantum MiniLED-lit panels. The company’s Micro LED lineup for 2023 has models with screen sizes ranging from 50 to 140 inches. The expanded OLED TV lineup features a 144Hz refresh rate and Samsung Gaming Hub. With OLED TV models, the company will offer AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro certification for gaming. The brand didn’t confirm pricing and availability details for the new products.

Samsung Neo QLED TVs features, specifications

Available in 8K and 4K models, the Samsung Neo QLED TVs’ picture quality is backed by Neural Quantum Processor, which supports the Quantum Mini LED-lit TV with 14-bit processing and AI upscaling. The Neo QLED TVs by the South Korean company come with a new Auto HDR Remastering algorithm, that uses AI deep learning technology to apply real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects on Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content on a scene-by-scene basis.

The new Neo QLED TV lineup has an inbuilt Zigbee and Matter Thread one-chip module. This would allow users to control their Samsung devices as well as third-party smart home devices hassle-free using the TV. With this functionality, SmartThings users can chat with a group in real-time while watching shows and attend video calls from the connected device. As it provides a 3D map view of the home and all SmartThing devices, users would be able to control and monitor connected devices.

The 2023 Neo QLED TVs will also come in Samsung’s Eco-packaging with minimal prints. Further, it will come bundled with a solar-powered remote control that’s said to be made with recycled ocean-bound plastic.

Samsung MicroLED and OLED TVs

Besides the Neo QLED TVs, Samsung has also unveiled its MicroLED TVs for 2023 that come in 50, 63, 76, 89, 101, 114, and 140-inch display sizes. It comes with a bezel-less design.

Samsung’s 2023 OLED lineup was announced in 55, 65, and 77-inch screen sizes. It comes with Quantum Dot technology and Neural Quantum Processors for ensuring brightness and colour representation. The lineup offers 144Hz refresh rate and supports the company’s smart features including the Samsung Gaming Hub. The new Samsung OLED TVs have AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro certification for a new gaming experience.

Furthermore, Samsung has included Samsung TV Plus in all the new TV lineups. The free ad-supported TV (FAST) and video-on-demand service will let users access over 1,800 channels globally. Additionally, the new models will come with Samsung Gaming Hub to let users quickly access Nvidia’s GeForce Now, Google Stadia, Utomik, and the Xbox app.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed other specifications of the new TV variants. The company is expected to announce details about its pricing and availability in the coming days.

Samsung Launches ‘Smart Upgrade Program’ for Neo QLED, The Frame, Crystal UHD TVs in Collaboration With Flipkart

Samsung announced on Friday that it is launching its ‘Smart Upgrade Program’ in collaboration with Flipkart. Under this programme, customers will be able to buy premium Samsung TVs by paying only 70 percent of the price at the time of purchase and 30 percent after 12 months. The South Korean tech giants aim to provide consumers with an affordable option to upgrade to large screen premium Samsung TVs. Notably, Samsung’s Neo QLED, The Frame, and Crystal UHD lineups of premium TV can be purchased under this programme.

Samsung ‘Smart Upgrade Program’ in collaboration with Flipkart is said to let customers to pay only 70 percent initially at the time of purchasing a premium Samsung TV. They can then pay the remaining 30 percent after 12 months. In an example, under the programme, the Samsung Crystal 4K UHD TV can be purchased by paying Rs. 23,093 upfront and the remaining Rs. 9,897 after 12 months. This range of TVs includes Motion Xcelerator Turbo technology smooth motion and clear images. They also pack features like Universal Guide, Game Mode, PC on TV, and more.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Frame 2021 Series QLED Ultra HD (4K) Smart TV can be purchased by paying Rs. 38,493 as upfront payment and Rs. 16,497 as balance payment after 12 months. This range offers customers various customisation options, including different coloured bezels. The Frame series also packs a powerful Quantum Processor 4K with 4K AI upscaling capabilities.

Finally, Samsung launched the Neo QLED 8K range of Neo QLED TVs in India earlier this year in April. These TVs feature a built-in Internet of Things (IoT) hub for seamlessly taking control of smart home devices. They feature Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro technology for a lag-free gaming experience. These TVs also come with 45 free Indian and global TV channels as part of the Samsung TV Plus service.
