Poco has announced discounts on several of its phones in India ahead of upcoming Amazon and Flipkart sales. There will be discounts of up to Rs. 4,000 apart from bank offers and coupons applicable on particular platforms. The discounts will be available from May 1 to May 10, the company confirmed. This will encompass the e-commerce sales scheduled to go live in the country. The Amazon Great Summer Sale will start on May 2, as will Flipkart’s Big Saving Days. 

Poco X6 Neo 5G

The Poco X6 Neo 5G, priced at Rs. 15,999 at launch for the 8GB RAM and 128GB option, will be available at Rs. 13,999 during the upcoming sale. The 12GB + 256GB variant was unveiled at Rs. 17,999 and will be available at Rs. 14,999.

Offered in Poco Yellow, Racing Grey, and Spectre Black colours, the Poco X6 Pro 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K display, a 64-megapixel triple rear camera unit, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Poco F6 Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench; May Get Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

Poco F6 is expected to launch later this year as a successor to the Poco F5 5G, that was unveiled in May 2023. Previous reports have claimed that the Poco F6 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, which was introduced in China earlier in April. The handset has also appeared on several certification sites over the past few weeks. Now, the purported Poco F6 has been spotted on a benchmarking website.

A Poco phone with model number 24069PC21G has been spotted on the Geekbench website, said to be the Poco F6. The phone has scored 1,884 and 4,799 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The listing shows that the handset will support 12GB of RAM and ship with Android 14-based HyperOS. 

The ‘G’ in the model number of the Poco F6 suggests that it could be the global variant. The octa-core Qualcomm chipset on the phone is listed to have a clock speed of 3.01GHz. It is expected to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which is likely to be paired with an Adreno 735 GPU.

A recent report claims that the Poco F6 will likely be equipped with a dual rear camera unit that could include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor paired with an ultrawide lens. The report adds that the phone is expected to get LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage. It is also likely to feature an AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

The Poco F6 with model number 24069PC21I was also recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) listing, suggesting an imminent India launch.

Poco M6 4G Spotted on Several Certification Sites, May Launch Globally Soon

Poco M6 4G has surfaced on certification websites recently, hinting that it may launch soon. Ahead of any official confirmation from Poco regarding the model, these listings have suggested some key features and specifications of the purported smartphone. The model is expected to be the 4G variant of the Poco M6 5G, which was unveiled in India in December 2023. The handset is also expected to join the Poco M6 Pro 4G in the lineup, which was introduced in select global markets in January 2024.

However, the same model number was spotted on the FCC website, which shows that the model is likely to run Xiaomi’s new Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 as well as support NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.

Redmi 13 5G Model Numbers Surface Online; Could Debut in India as Poco M7 Pro 5G

Redmi 13 5G is said to be in the works. The existence of the handset is yet to be officially confirmed by Xiaomi, but thanks to a new report, we have now a clear picture of its model numbers, chipset and availability. The Redmi 13 5G is said to have internal model number “N19”. It could run on Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, like its predecessor — Redmi 12 5G. The handset is likely to be available only in India and China. The phone could be released with the Poco M7 Pro 5G moniker in India.

As per a report by Android Headlines, Xiaomi has started working on the Redmi 13 5G. It reportedly has the codename “breeze“ and its internal model number is “N19“. It could run on Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.

Model numbers 2406ERN9CI, 2406ERN9CC, and 24066PC95I are said to be associated with the Redmi 13 5G. Based on these model numbers, the report claims that the smartphone could miss a global release outside India and China. The model number 2406ERN9CI reportedly refers to the Indian version of the phone, while the model number 2406ERN9CC refers to the Chinese version. The “PC” in the model number is considered as a reference to the Poco branding.

In India, the Redmi 13 5G is said to arrive with the Poco M7 Pro 5G moniker. Last year’s Redmi 12 5G went official in global markets, including Japan. The upcoming phone is anticipated to go official in the Chinese market first. The company is reportedly readying HyperOS software for the device. 

The Redmi 13 5G is believed to offer similar specifications to that of Redmi 12 5G. The latter was launched in August last year with a starting price tag of Rs. 10,999. The upcoming model could be a more affordable option.

The Poco C61 sports a 6.71-inch HD+ (1,650 x 720 pixels) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. The phone ships with an Android 14-based UI.

In the camera department, the Poco C61 carries an 8-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.2 aperture alongside an unspecified AI-backed secondary sensor at the back. There’s a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture at the front. The rear camera unit is also accompanied by an LED flash unit.

Poco C61 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. For security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also offers dual SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. It measures 168.4mm x 76.3mm x 8.3mm in size and weighs 193g.

Poco’s Global executive David Liu recently teased the arrival of a new Poco F series phone without confirming the exact moniker. It is tipped to be the Poco F6. The Xiaomi sub-brand is yet to announce the launch date of the new F series device but ahead of it, its specifications have emerged online. The Poco F6 has been speculated to debut as a rebranded version of the unannounced Redmi Note 13 Turbo.

Android Headlines, citing HyperOS source code, claims that the Poco F6 will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The Poco phone codenamed “peridot” will be the second handset in the world to run on the latest Qualcomm chipset. Xiaomi launched the Civi 4 Pro as the first phone with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset earlier this month.

Further, the report states that the Poco F6 will feature a Sony IMX882 50-megapixel primary camera. The same sensor is used in the outgoing Realme 12 Pro 5G and the iQoo Z9 5G. The camera setup will reportedly include an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle sensor as well. It is said to have the internal model number “N16T“.

Poco has reportedly used display panels from TCL and Tianma on the Poco F6. However, there is no word on the display specifications yet.

Poco C61 India Launch Set for March 26, to Come With 90Hz Display, 5,000mAh Battery

Poco C61 will launch in India next week, Poco India confirmed through its official social media channel. The company, which is a sub-brand of Xiaomi in the country, has confirmed that the new handset will go on sale via Flipkart. The Poco C61 is teased to come with a high refresh rate display and a large battery. It is said to carry 6GB of onboard RAM. The Poco C61 will succeed last year’s Poco C51. The rumour mill has suggested that the Poco C61 will run on the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC.

On Friday, Poco India via its official X account announced that the Poco C61 launch is set for March 26 at 12pm (noon) IST virtually. As per the teaser, it will come with a dual rear camera setup. Flipkart has created a dedicated microsite teasing the design and a few specifications of the phone.

The Flipkart microsite confirms a 90Hz HD+ display for the Poco C61. It will pack 6GB RAM and users can get an additional 6GB virtual RAM for better multitasking. It is confirmed to include a 5,000mAh battery.

Poco Phone With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC Teased; Could be the Poco F6

Poco F6 has been doing rounds of the rumour mill the past few weeks. The phone has been spotted on certification sites suggesting its imminent India launch. It is said to come as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. Neither Redmi nor Poco has officially announced the said handsets yet but several leaks have hinted at their key features. Now, a senior Poco official has teased an upcoming phone with the newest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and reignited speculations that it could be the Poco F6.

Poco Global executive David Liu (@DavidBlueLS) teased the upcoming launch of a Poco handset in a post on X (formerly Twitter) and suggested that the model will be the first global debut of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. He did not confirm the moniker of the upcoming smartphone. It is being speculated to be the Poco F6 since the model has been widely spotted in online certification sites and leaks.

Although the executive mentioned the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in his post which recently launched in China with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it is unlikely that the purported Poco model will share any similarities with it, outside of the processor.

Poco C61 Price in India, Renders, Key Specifications Leaked; May Get MediaTek Helio G36 SoC

Poco C61 may launch in India soon. Details about the purported handset, including design renders, key features, RAM and storage variants, as well as the expected price have surfaced online. The phone has been tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A3, which was unveiled in India in February this year. The phone may, therefore, share similar specifications as the Redmi model. The renders show the front panel of the handset with a centred waterdrop notch for the front camera. The Poco C61 is seen with slim side bezels and a relatively thicker chin. The volume rocker and power buttons appear on the right edge of the phone. The SIM card slot is placed on the left edge, with the USB Type-C charging port and a mic at the bottom edge. The speaker grille and a 3.5mm audio jack are seen on the top edge. 

Poco C61 has been tipped to sport a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500nits of peak brightness level, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The phone is tipped to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

For optics, the Poco C61 could get an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor at the back, with a 5-megapixel sensor in the front. The handset is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging. 

The Redmi A3 recently launched in India at Rs. 7,299 for the 3GB + 64GB option, while the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB variants are priced at Rs. 8,299 and Rs. 9,299, respectively. It is available in Midnight Black, Lake Blue, and Olive Green shades, which are similar to the colour options we see in the leaked renders for the Poco C61.

Poco X6 Neo Specifications Revealed Ahead of March 13 Launch; to Feature Dimensity 6080 SoC, AMOLED Display

Poco X6 Neo is all set to go official in India on March 13. Ahead of its arrival, the e-commerce website Flipkart has set up a dedicated microsite to tease the design and key specifications of the Poco X6 Neo. It is confirmed to flaunt an AMOLED display with minimal bezels and 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum 256GB of storage. The X6 Neo will feature a 108-megapixel primary rear camera, according to the company.

Flipkart has created a dedicated microsite on its website to tease the arrival of the Poco X6 Neo, which is expected to debut as a mid-range offering. As per the details shared by the firm, the handset will feature an AMOLED display with narrow bezels 120Hz refresh rate, 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and minimal bezels. The screen is rated to deliver 1,000 nits of peak brightness and offers Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a hole punch cutout for housing the selfie camera.

The Poco X6 Neo is confirmed to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset and will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations— 8GB + 128 and 12GB + 256GB. The onboard memory can be expanded up to 24GB through the virtual RAM expansion feature.
