Poco has announced discounts on several of its phones in India ahead of upcoming Amazon and Flipkart sales. There will be discounts of up to Rs. 4,000 apart from bank offers and coupons applicable on particular platforms. The discounts will be available from May 1 to May 10, the company confirmed. This will encompass the e-commerce sales scheduled to go live in the country. The Amazon Great Summer Sale will start on May 2, as will Flipkart’s Big Saving Days. 

Poco X6 Neo 5G

The Poco X6 Neo 5G, priced at Rs. 15,999 at launch for the 8GB RAM and 128GB option, will be available at Rs. 13,999 during the upcoming sale. The 12GB + 256GB variant was unveiled at Rs. 17,999 and will be available at Rs. 14,999.

It comes with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 108-megapixel dual rear camera system, and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. It gets a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.

Offered in Poco Yellow, Racing Grey, and Spectre Black colours, the Poco X6 Pro 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, a 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K display, a 64-megapixel triple rear camera unit, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Poco M6 4G Spotted on Several Certification Sites, May Launch Globally Soon

Poco M6 4G has surfaced on certification websites recently, hinting that it may launch soon. Ahead of any official confirmation from Poco regarding the model, these listings have suggested some key features and specifications of the purported smartphone. The model is expected to be the 4G variant of the Poco M6 5G, which was unveiled in India in December 2023. The handset is also expected to join the Poco M6 Pro 4G in the lineup, which was introduced in select global markets in January 2024.

A listing for Poco M6 4G with model number 2404APC5FG on the NBTC site has confirmed the moniker of the upcoming handset. The listing does not reveal any other details about the smartphone. However, the same model number was spotted on the FCC website, which shows that the model is likely to run Xiaomi’s new Android 14-based HyperOS 1.0 as well as support NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.

The FCC listing of the Poco M6 4G also suggests that the phone is expected to carry a 4,930mAh rated battery, which is likely to be promoted as a 5,000mAh cell. The listing also hinted that the anticipated handset could support 33W wired fast charging. Not much else is known about the model yet, but we will likely learn more about the phone closer to its launch.

A recent report suggested that the Poco M6 4G is expected to be a rebranded Redmi 13 4G model since both handsets reportedly have the internal codename ‘moon.’ It is expected to be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. The models were also reportedly spotted on the IMEI database and are therefore expected to launch in India soon.

Another report claimed that the Poco M6 4G model also appeared on SDPPI, EEC, TKDN, and IMDA certification websites. No other details were reportedly seen on these other listings.

Poco M6 5G is all set to go official in India this week. The Xiaomi sub-brand has announced the launch of a new M series phone through its social media channels. Poco has shared a poster, revealing the smartphone’s design. The Poco M6 5G is seen with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit. It also appears to have a waterdrop-style display notch at the front. The Poco M6 5G will launch as the successor to the Poco M5 that debuted last year. It is rumoured to arrive as a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G.

Poco has announced December 22 as the launch date of the Poco M6 5G through its official X (formerly Twitter) account. The launch event will take place at 12:00pm IST. As mentioned, the teaser shared by the company suggests that the handset will come with a waterdrop-style notch on the display. It shows an AI-backed dual rear camera unit comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has separately created a dedicated webpage to tease the design of Poco M6 5G ahead of its debut. The online marketplace confirms that the smartphone will be available black and silver colour options.

The Poco M6 5G will succeed the Poco M5 that debuted in September last year. It is speculated to be a rebadged version of the Redmi 13C 5G. The Redmi 13C 5G was launched in India earlier this month with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

Redmi 13C 5G features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that comprises a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with a depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
