Ian Ziering breaks silence after ‘unsettling’ biker gang attack

Ian Ziering is speaking out following the “alarming” biker attack he experienced on New Year’s Eve.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum, 59, took to Instagram about the incident on Monday.

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” he wrote. “While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”

“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.”

In a video of the altercation obtained by TMZ, Ziering can be seen getting into a fight with several bikers on Hollywood Blvd. on Sunday.

At one point, multiple bikers aggressively approached the actor as he tried to run across the street to get away. He later was spotted consoling his crying daughter Mia, 12, who was in the car with him at the time.

“This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient,” the actor continued on Monday.

“I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety,” he went on. “We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences.”

Ziering concluded his message by stating he’s “thankful for the support of my family, friends, and fans during this time.”

“It’s in challenging moments like these that the strength and unity of our community are most vital,” he added. “Happy new year.”

Florida man Paul Broadhurst punches bobcat to save dog

A Florida man reportedly fended off a bobcat attack on his daughter’s dog by swinging his fists, clocking the wild animal in the face.

Paul Broadhurst told Fox 32 Orlando that he was walking the dog, Koda, on Feb. 11 in the Stoneybrook neighborhood of East Orlando when the bobcat pounced.

The bobcat, he clawed into me pretty good, and I end up having to punch the bobcat in the mouth to get it off of me,” Broadhurst said.

“He was walking down the sidewalk that bobcat was just over the top of him. He no sooner got there, and I ripped him off.”

Broadhurst was left with scratches after he tried to pry the animal away from the dog, eventually sending the bobcat scurrying into the tree line.

“He got away lucky,” Broadhurst said about the family pet who was uninjured during the attack.

“This is a very high-traffic area,” Broadhurst explained. “People walk their dogs, and have their kids, there are small kids in area 1-, 2-, 3-year-olds and if the bobcat got on them, it would be a bad outcome.”

Broadhurst’s home is next to a conservation area and Environmental Education Awareness Research Support’s Frank Robb suggested that people walking their pets should carry an object like a walking stick that they can put between their pets and any animal that is rabid or looking for food.

“When homes get built these wild areas are being taken away, you’re going to see more conflict like this with wildlife,” Robb said. “Be aware of your surroundings and know where you live.”

Florida Panthers investigating fight between Lightning fan and mascot

Five for fighting!

A Tampa Bay Lightning fan, in the final minutes of his team’s embarrassing 7-1 loss to Florida on Monday, took matters into his own hands when he picked a fight with a Panthers mascot.

A viral video from the game captured an unidentified Lightning fan attacking Viktor E. Ratt, which has caused the Panthers to launch an investigation into the incident.

In the video, a man in a blue t-shirt grabbed and pulled Viktor E. Ratt’s jersey over its head after the mascot launched the fan’s jersey into the crowd.

The fan then proceeds to shove his furry opponent into a glass divider while an arena usher and another employee look on at the exchange.

After standing back up, the fan puts the mascot into a partial chokehold and seemingly begins to shout “Go Bolts.” One of the mascot’s handlers diffused the situation as the man picked up his tossed jersey and walked out of the seating bowl.

Some Twitter users speculated whether the fight was staged as Panthers and FLA Arena employees did nothing to break up the altercation and the lack of presence from Florida police and arena security.

Fox Sports South Florida’s Andy Slater reported — citing a Panthers spokesperson — that the exchange was not staged and the team is investigating the incident.

Slater also reported “The mascot’s normal handler was off” on Monday and Sunrise Police has not been contacted by the team.

Monday’s game was the first hockey event held at the arena since Saturday’s NHL All-Star Game.

Viktor E. Ratt is the Panthers’ second mascot, having been introduced to the team in October 2014, 21 years after the team’s inception and the introduction of their first mascot Stanley C. Panther.

Disturbing video captures NYC subway passengers brawling

Disturbing video has emerged of two subway passengers punching and kicking each other — as other straphangers watch the brawl from a distance.

“Just another day in New York City!” Twitter account NY Actions captioned the violent footage, which has received almost 20,000 views.

“Apparently the guy’s bike knocked into the black guy, black guy told him to apologize, he didn’t, fight started,” the breaking news account added.

The roughly minute-long clip, which was originally posted Sept. 11, begins mid-fight with the barefoot biker — a man wearing a plaid shirt and green shorts — shoving his left thumb into the mouth of a man wearing what appears to be the uniform of water delivery company ReadyRefresh.

The biker gains the upper hand at first as he lands multiple blows, but the other combatant then pounds him with punches to the head as he crumples onto the seat and then with kicks to the back and side.

After more than 30 seconds, with the biker seemingly defenseless and covering his head, someone is heard saying, “Enough, enough.”

Finally, the fight comes to an end at the 40-second mark.

The biker gains the upper hand at first as he lands multiple blows.

The deliveryman then pounds the biker with punches to the head.

The biker crumples onto one the the subway benches.

The video gained traction online Monday when it was reposted by the Twitter account @RibleBlockMedia, where several users commented on the incident.

“Why is it always no one coming to a black man’s defense when he doesn’t have the upper hand but once them tables turn it’s that’s enough…. No it’s not enough,” one wrote, referring to the man in the delivery uniform.

“Started off with the fish hook, extremely bold strat,” another user said, referring to the thumb-in-mouth move by the biker.

The fight reportedly started when the guy’s bike knocked into the deliveryman.

The biker allegedly refused to apologize to the deliveryman.

After more than 30 seconds, someone is heard saying, “Enough, enough.”

The identities of the two men were unavailable.

The Post has reached out to ReadyRefresh for comment.

The NYPD did not immediately respond to an inquiry about the incident.

The alarming video emerged soon after Gov. Kathy Hochul pivoted her election campaign message to focus on crime, announcing a new subway safety plan with Mayor Eric Adams and releasing a commercial in which she said New Yorkers “deserve to feel safe.”

On Tuesday night, Hochul won a full term despite a surprisingly strong race run by longshot Republican challenger Lee Zeldin — who refused to concede the election.

64-year-old NYC man savagely beaten with rock in subway attack

A 64-year-old man was beaten with a rock in a brutal attack on a Brooklyn subway platform this weekend, cops said.

Intazar Dar was on his way home from work when he was randomly attacked at the Avenue H station in Midwood just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, according to police.

Dar told ABC’s Eyewitness News he works as a security guard in lower Manhattan and first noticed his alleged attacker mumbling loudly and pacing onboard the Q train.

When the train pulled into the Avenue H station, the victim said the shirtless suspect got off and started arguing with him.

The suspect then jumped onto the tracks, grabbed a rock, and pulled himself back onto the platform.

Surveillance footage released by cops showed the unidentified suspect shoving Dar on the platform as the victim tried to approach the turnstiles.

The suspect then allegedly bashed Dar in the head repeatedly with the rock, causing him to lose consciousness, according to police.

His alleged attacker was caught on video fleeing the station and cops said they are still trying to track him down.

“This is the first time it’s happened in my life in New York City, but now I’m scared,” Dar told the outlet.

“It’s been two years since I’ve been doing my job — I don’t have any problem with this place … now I see a lot of homeless people – they make me scared.”

Dar was taken to Maimonides Medical Center where he was treated for head trauma and later released.

After the horrifying experience, the victim is now fearful of the New York streets.

The victim said he still suffers from swelling to his head and will likely have to take at least a week off work to recover.

Police described his alleged attacker as a male in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing about 170 lbs with brown eyes and black hair.

4 Signs you’re suffering from post-relationship trauma

Former partners may have conflicting emotions as a result of the end of a romantic relationship. Some partners may feel relieved that their conflicts and arguing have come to an end. Others may experience depression, loneliness or anxiety at the prospect of carving a new route without their former companion. It is totally natural to experience grief over the loss of a relationship. However, if you leave a relationship with heavy baggage, you should consider the possibility that you are suffering from post-relationship trauma.

Here are 4 signs that you could be suffering from post-relationship trauma after your breakup.

1. Extremely suspicious and untrustworthy

Relationships in which your partner used violence, sexual assault, threats, cheating, financial abuse, emotional abuse, alcoholism, persistent lying, or narcissism might have a long-term negative impact on your emotional health. You may be left with a strong sense of mistrust and distrust, and it may take you a long time to trust anyone again.

2. You feel guilty

Guilt for not moving on sooner may replace feelings of mistrust and loneliness. There may be a broad sense of wasted time, lost days, months, or years of living, and a general longing to move on. This is frequent following a failed relationship. You may be wondering why you stayed with someone that wasn’t suited for you. However, if toxicity is present, the sensation will be amplified. All of this puts a person in a vulnerable position.

3. You get flashbacks

It can be difficult to let go of the past. Difficult events can have a huge impact on people’s daily lives, from their beliefs to the decisions they make. Flashbacks are intense, intrusive memories of a distressing event. They might be really upsetting and make you feel as if you’re reliving an event. These interruptions may be repeated and unwelcome.

4. You’re uncertain in new relationships

Don’t be shocked if you feel uncomfortable and unsettled when you start a new relationship. After leaving a toxic relationship, an individual may find themselves reacting to new relationships with patterns or suspicions. It’s also likely that you’ll interpret what your new partner says incorrectly and feel they’re violating limits when they aren’t.

Having said that, it’s important to trust your instincts. Don’t disregard similar poisonous tendencies in your new partner. Trust what you’ve learnt from previous relationships, and don’t be hesitant to end a new one if it’s giving you negative vibes.
