Neetu Kapoor says ‘Main kyun bataun’ as paps ask about Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s wedding date; WATCH

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming wedding has become one of the biggest news in the world of entertainment at the moment. However, the star couple and their close ones have chosen to be extremely tight-lipped about any detail regarding the D-Day. Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Kapoor has been asked about their wedding dates quite a few times. And this time, the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress had an epic reply as a member of the paparazzi asked her about the same.  

Neetu Kapoor was recently clicked at a shoot set, when a pap asked her about Ranbir and Alia’s wedding date. To this, she replied, “Aage badho yaar. Aapko kya hain, hum kabhi bhi karein. Main kyun bataun? (Move on. How does it matter to you when the wedding is? Why should I tell you?) When the pap replied that they will arrive for the photographs, she smiled and said, “Most welcome.”

Earlier, in a chat with PTI, Neetu Kapoor had dodged the question on the same. She said, “I have been hearing about it (the wedding) for two years but I don’t know when (it will happen). Let’s see when. Sometimes, it is going to happen in Ranthambore, RK Studios. Places and dates keep changing (referring to media reports),” said the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress. She further added that they are she hopes and prays it happen very soon.

Meanwhile, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that the wedding festivities will begin on the 13th of April and continue until the 17th of April. The couple will tie the knot at Ranbir’s Vastu residence late into the night of 15th April, between 2 am to 4 am, i.e in the early morning of 16th April.

The second part stars Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as an antagonist Adheera and his face-off with Yash in the climax is said to be the best visual treat ever. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, this film features Yash, Sreenidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Prakash Raj in crucial roles.

EXCLUSIVE: Aryan Khan begins work on his web show, did a test shoot at a Mumbai studio last week; Deets Inside

Pinkvilla was the first to report that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is developing multiple ideas, of which a web-series and a feature film written by him for Red Chillies Entertainment are at the forefront. Aryan has been working on these ideas for a while now, and has already set the ball rolling on the series front. Pinkvilla has now learnt that the young filmmaker recently did a test shoot for the web show at a studio in Mumbai. 

“Besides writing the project, Aryan will also be directing it. He had taken complete charge at the test shoot that took place on Friday and Saturday. As a part of his and the crew’s prep, Aryan wanted to bring everyone together and understand the project before they actually start shooting for it. He is very passionate about this yet untitled show, and has already begun work on the pre-production. They will finalise the actual shooting dates soon,” informs a source close to the development.

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur’s Jersey actor Prit Kamani was also spotted on the set, however it’s yet unclear if he will feature in the project. Shah Rukh Khan has always maintained that Aryan is not interested in acting, and wants to pursue direction. “He’s writing, directing and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a film-maker. My daughter wants to act. She also has to attend a four-year course in theatre. I think both of them should study,” SRK had earlier told DNA. 

Meanwhile, the superstar’s daughter Suhana Khan will make her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s web-series, which is based on Archie Comics.

Sam Elliott apologises to Benedict Cumberbatch and The Power of the Dog team over ‘terrible’ comments

The Power of the Dog starring Benedict Cumberbatch was among the top contenders at Oscars 2022 this year. The film which also managed to bag director Jane Campion a Best Director win was previously criticised by actor Sam Elliott. In a recent interaction during Deadline’s Contenders TV event though, the actor apologised to The Power of the Dog team over his negative remarks. 

While speaking at the event, Elliott particularly mentioned how he felt “terrible” about criticising the film and said, “I told the WTF podcaster that I thought Jane Campion was a brilliant director, and I want to apologize to the cast of The Power of the Dog, brilliant actors all. And in particular Benedict Cumberbatch. I can only say that I’m sorry and I am. I am.”

The actor further added that he said some “terrible” things that hurt people. The A Star Is Born actor also made an apology to the gay community, adding that they have been supportive towards his career right from the beginning and said, “I’m sorry I hurt any of those friends and someone that I loved. And anyone else by the words that I used”, via Deadline.

Elliott had previously disregarded the film and criticised director Jane Campion mentioning that she hailed from New Zealand and didn’t know anything about the American West. The Power of the Dog stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Jesse Plemmons both reacted to Elliott’s comments in the past. Benedict who was nominated for a Best Actor honour for his performance in the film called Sam’s remarks “odd” while director Campion dissed Elliott saying he was being a “little b***h.”

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz share FIRST photos from their wedding; Paris Hilton & more send love

Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot with fiance Nicola Peltz in a lavish ceremony at Palm Beach on April 10. The couple was accompanied by close friends and family during the same. Sharing first photos from the gorgeous ceremony on Instagram, the couple introduced themselves as “Mr and Mrs Peltz Beckham.” Peltz made a stunning bride in a Valentino gown.

After it was reported that Brooklyn and Nicola who got engaged in July 2020 had tied the knot in a stunning wedding ceremony in Florida, fans of the couple were eager to get a glimpse of how the duo looked at the star-studded wedding. Dropping the first photos from the gorgeous ceremony, the couple showed off how dreamy their wedding was as the bride and groom posed for some romantic snaps. While Nicola looked gorgeous in her Valentino wedding gown that was adorned with an evil eye symbol, Brooklyn also made for a dapper groom. 

At the ceremony, Peltz was walked down the aisle by her father Nelson to a string orchestra playing Songbird according to The Daily Mail. With Brooklyn’s family including parents David and Victoria Beckham in attendance, the ceremony also saw his youngest sibling, sister Harper who was among the flower girls at the ceremony. 

Sharing two photos from the wedding, Brooklyn dropped one stunning snap of just his new bride as he wrote, “My beautiful bride.” The couple received several congratulatory messages from their friends including Paris Hilton who left a comment on both their posts as she wrote, “Congratulations” and added red heart emojis. Also sending their love for the couple were celebrities like Taylor Lautner, Sofia Richie and Ashley Tisdale who left sweet comments congratulating the couple.

India’s Got Talent, 10th April 2022: Semi-finalists’ performances impress the judges

Today’s episode begins with the performance of Rishabh Chaturvedi. He mesmerized everyone with his vocals on ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ and ‘Bachna-E-Haseeno’. His performance was followed by the magical pair- Divyansh and Anurag. They played the flute and beatboxed on ‘Chaudhvi Ka Chaand’, ‘Kya Khoob Lagti Ho’, and ‘Koi Kehte Kehta Rahe’. The judges were so stunned by their performance that they gave them the golden buzzer with a standing ovation. The next performance was graced by The Bomb Fire Squad. They danced on ‘Chikni Chameli’. They received a golden buzzer for their power-pack performance. Badshah gifted them their Rakhi gifts and even danced on ‘Jugnoo’. 

The fourth act was performed by The Warrior Squad and their gymnastics act on ‘Sultan’. Everybody was stunned looking at them taking leaps and crossing the fire circle. Following them, Ishita sang ‘Yeh Kahaan Aagaye Hum’ and ‘Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja’ in her melodious voice. Ishita even met her grandparents on a video call and cried happy tears. Then, B S Reddy spread his magic on the stage by first disappearing the girl. In the next act, he turned the girl upside-down, toppled her, and yet she was intact. Seeing him, even Badshah performed a magical act with the judges. 

Later, everyone gathered on the stage and sang ‘Hum Rahein Ya Na Rahein Kal’ for the judges. Everyone got very emotional and shed tears of love. Manoj Muntashir expressed his love by reciting poetry. Badshah affirmed that IGT has become his family and he is forever grateful for this family. The last performance was graced by The Demolition Group on ‘ Seeti Maar’. Shilpa Shetty was impressed seeing their basketball act. Arjun welcomed Jubin Nautiyal and he sang ‘Humma Humma’ with Divyansh and Anurag. Jubin Nautiyal also sang his latest song ‘Mast Nazron’, penned by Manoj Muntashir. His song was charmed by Shilpa Shetty’s dance.
