Alia Bhatt to Katrina Kaif: 5 Divas who chose a pastel pink salwar as their go-to summer wear

Katrina Kaif 

For her airport look, Mrs. Kaushal channelled her inner desi Punjabi kudi in a pastel pink salwar suit. The actress’ full-length blush pink number featured a V-neckline with detailed floral embroidery in red along it. She paired this with matching palazzo pants and topped this over with a floral printed dupatta that made up for the simplicity of her outfit. A pair of simple embellished juttis, a red bindi and oversized tinted sunglasses made for additional accessories to her look.

Alia Bhatt 

Alia Bhatt made her first appearance at the airport as Mrs. Kapoor in a pastel pink salwar suit from Devnaagri. The traditional ensemble featured a floral blush pink kurta adorned with spring-inspired print in a dark pink hue. The outfit bore a calf-grazing hem length and a loose silhouette. Alia teamed the kurta with matching flared pants adorned with silver patti borders on the hem. She rounded off the look with an organza dupatta decked in white lace patti border and floral print. Mojari sandals, her diamond engagement ring, and dainty jhumkas completed her look. She added a modish touch to her airport look with a colourful printed Christian Dior tote bag.

Nora Fatehi 

Nora also chose a blush pink salwar suit as her summer airport look. The Kusu Kusu girl stepped out in a cotton silk set that featured a midi kurta with a close neck adorning a tassel tie up detail. The kurta was decked in gorgeous embroidery all done in white threads along with small tassels hanging on the hem. Nora teamed the kurta with matching straight-fit pants and rounded the look with an wholly embroidered dupatta featuring tassels in the border. She accessorised her look with pearl studs, white embroidered juttis and a white quilted sling bag. 

Kiara Advani 

Kiara proved that there is elegance in simplicity as she stepped out in the city wearing a baby pink salwar set. The set featured a plain, sleeveless, calf-grazing kurta that was teamed with matching cropped pants and a sheer dupatta. Kiara maintained the simplicity of the look as she skipped on the accessories and simply styled her traditional attire an opulent blue Gucci Diana bag. 

Kriti Sanon 

Kriti Sanon pulled off the ethnic look with charm and comeliness in a pastel pink salwar suit by Nachiket Barve. The outfit featured an embroidered kurta with a floral vest-like design on top with heavy embroidery. The kurta was teamed with a pair of palazzo pants with a scalloped hem. The Shehzaada actress completed the look with minimal diamond earrings and a statement ring.

Deepika Padukone to attend Met Gala 2022 with Louis Vuitton; Reports

Deepika Padukone is one of the most talented and most-loved actresses in Bollywood. The actress made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Om Shanti Om and her stint as Shanti Priya won several hearts. She has carved a niche for herself with her outstanding acting prowess. Now, according to the latest reports, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress is all set to attend the Met Gala 2022. This year, the Met Gala is all set to take place on Monday, May 2, in New York City.  

According to the latest scoop by the popular anonymous Instagram account called Diet Sabya, the Bajirao Mastani actress will be attending the Met Gala with Louis Vuitton this year. “LV is set to announce her as their global brand ambassador in April end for which she shot in Spain after attending Time 100 impact award in Dubai,” said Diet Sabya on their Instagram stories. However, an official announcement is yet to be made. Last year, Deepika could not attend the Met Gala as it was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The actress has made three notable appearances at the event. She marked her debut at the Met Gala in 2017.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in the Shakun Batra directorial Gehraiyaan with Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. She will be seen next in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Apart from this, she has The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan, Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Project K co-starring Prabhas.

Asha Bhosle’s son Anand hospitalised in Dubai due to dizziness; Reports

 According to reports, Asha Bhosle’s son Anand Bhosle has been admitted to a hospital in Dubai due to dizziness. He suddenly fell on the ground and received a few injuries, reported ETimes. Soon after, he was rushed to the hospital. Earlier, he was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but currently, he has been shifted to a normal hospital room. The report also claimed that Asha Bhosle was in Dubai when the incident took place. Anand’s incident has reportedly shocked the Mangeshkar and the Bhosle families.

Reportedly, the incident happened suddenly and it was very unusual and has sent the entire family in a big scare and every family member of Mangeshkar and Bhosle continues to call Dubai almost every day and inquire about Anand Bhosle’s current health status. The cause of the incident is yet to be known and the investigation is underway. The singer will not be returning to Mumbai anytime soon and has decided to stay back in Dubai and has been frequently checking up on Anand’s health condition at the hospital.

For the unversed, Anand Bhosle is Asha Bhosle’s youngest son. He has studied business and film direction. He also manages Asha Bhosle’s career. The legendary singer also had another son Hemant Bhosle, who passed away in 2015 after a battle with cancer, and a daughter Varsha Bhosle, who died in 2012.

Meanwhile, the 88-year-old-singer’s older sister and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away on 6 February 2022, at the age of 92, due to multi-organ failure.

Ranbir-Alia Wedding: Actor’s neighbours file a complaint against media for ‘virtually attacking cars’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally husband and wife now. After being in a relationship for 5 years, the couple tied the knot on April 14th at the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor’s Vastu residence in Bandra, Mumbai, in presence of their close friends and family members. Now, amid the lovebirds’ wedding chaos, Ranbir’s neighbours sent a complaint to the Pali Hill Residents’ Association (PHRA) last evening. The complaint was reportedly filed against the media for gathering outside the Barfi actor’s residence and creating a commotion.

According to ETimes, a few media personnel have even tripped over speed breakers and almost injured themselves trying to click the celebrities. A resident stated that ‘they were virtually attacking cars’. PHRA Secretary Madhu Poplai confirmed the complaint and said, “I had no option but to call a senior inspector. After he arrived, we had a meeting in the lobby of Ranbir‘s building Vastu. A member of the organiser group that has made the arrangements of the shaadi, who was incidentally in Vastu at that instant, was called to join the meeting.”

He also said that it has been risky to drive through the area for the past 3/4 days. “Nearly 200 media people are standing at different points on the road and they swoop from nowhere at any given instant. This is nothing but violation of safety norms.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was attended by many celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Akash Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Saif Ali Khan, Aadar Jain, Navya Naveli, Karan Johar, and many others.

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’s Shubhangi Atre on her low-key birthday: I don’t believe in the idea of showing off

Shubhangi Atre became a household name with her entry into the popular sitcom Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. She plays the role of Angoogi in the show, and her character is widely liked by the audience. The actress rang on her birthday on 11th April. She did not do any celebrations for her special day and donated food to the poor people who were fasting for the holy month of Ramadan.

In an interview with ETimes TV, she shared about her birthday, “After the pandemic, many people are still struggling to meet the necessities. And my concern was that as the holy festival of Ramadan is going on, I wanted to distribute food to the needy and serve a proper meal to them when they break their fast. So I went forward with the idea. My daughter wanted me to host a party but later even she agreed with it. My fans and friends made my day special. I don’t believe in the idea of showing off.”

The actress is known for keeping her personal life very private. On being asked about the trend of actors getting papped, Shubhangi said, “With everything today has a price, getting papped has its own and is a trend among celebrities. But I’m not of those who likes to mix personal and professional life. I’m not one to keep my managers updated with my airport timing, gymming time or coffee time (laughs). I’m very easy to answer calls from the media and reply to their queries and even greet them while meeting outside. But I would never enjoy permitting them to make my lifestyle easy onscreen. I’m very much connected with my fans on social media and they are happy with it and respect my privacy. So being papped can be a trend among celebrities, but it is not my cup of tea.”

PICS: Ananya Panday kicks off her day with Yoga; Sara Ali Khan dons an all-black look as she exits the gym

Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan are the most popular actresses in the Bollywood industry amongst the Gen-Z. The two actresses have always been the talk of the town. Often, they have been spotted by the paparazzi when they head out for their yoga and Pilates classes. Speaking of which, today, the Student Of The Year 2 actress was seen making her way to her Yoga class, and the Atrangi Re star was seen exiting her Pilates class.

In the photos, Ananya Panday is seen keeping it casual in a grey sleeveless tank top paired with yoga pants and flats. Sara, on the other hand, was clicked as she exited her Pilate class. Sara Ali Khan was also seen warmly greeting the paparazzi. She quickly waved to the paps and did her iconic Namaste pose before she sat in the car and left for home. EXCLUSIVE: Aryan Khan begins work on his web show, did a test shoot at a Mumbai studio last week; Deets Inside

Pinkvilla was the first to report that Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is developing multiple ideas, of which a web-series and a feature film written by him for Red Chillies Entertainment are at the forefront. Aryan has been working on these ideas for a while now, and has already set the ball rolling on the series front. Pinkvilla has now learnt that the young filmmaker recently did a test shoot for the web show at a studio in Mumbai. 

“Besides writing the project, Aryan will also be directing it. He had taken complete charge at the test shoot that took place on Friday and Saturday. As a part of his and the crew’s prep, Aryan wanted to bring everyone together and understand the project before they actually start shooting for it. He is very passionate about this yet untitled show, and has already begun work on the pre-production. They will finalise the actual shooting dates soon,” informs a source close to the development.

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur’s Jersey actor Prit Kamani was also spotted on the set, however it’s yet unclear if he will feature in the project. Shah Rukh Khan has always maintained that Aryan is not interested in acting, and wants to pursue direction. “He’s writing, directing and learning stuff for four years. It’s one of the highest levels of studies at the University of Southern California to become a film-maker. My daughter wants to act. She also has to attend a four-year course in theatre. I think both of them should study,” SRK had earlier told DNA. 

Meanwhile, the superstar’s daughter Suhana Khan will make her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s web-series, which is based on Archie Comics.
