Alia Bhatt’s wedding has been one of the most talked about events in Bollywood. The actress has been dating Ranbir Kapoor for a long time and the couple had tied the knot on April 14 in an intimate ceremony. Ever since then, the new bride has been treating fans with beautiful pics from the wedding festivities which are going viral on social media. Amid this, Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt also took to her Instagram account and shared a stunning pic with her darling sister. 

The pic was clicked on Alia’s D-Day, wherein the Bhatt sisters were sharing a love-filled moment as they held each other close and also held hands while posing for the camera. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actress looked stunning in her cream coloured bridal outfit with golden embroidery. On the other hand, Shaheen was seen wearing a pink coloured outfit with golden embroidery for Alia’s D-Day. Shaheen captioned the image as, “Hi heartbeat”. Manish Malhotra shared a beautiful picture of Shaheen and Alia from the latter’s mehendi ceremony which was all about sister love. In the pic, Alia was seen hugging her sister as they posed for the camera.

Ranbir-Alia Wedding: Actor’s neighbours file a complaint against media for ‘virtually attacking cars’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally husband and wife now. After being in a relationship for 5 years, the couple tied the knot on April 14th at the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor’s Vastu residence in Bandra, Mumbai, in presence of their close friends and family members. Now, amid the lovebirds’ wedding chaos, Ranbir’s neighbours sent a complaint to the Pali Hill Residents’ Association (PHRA) last evening. The complaint was reportedly filed against the media for gathering outside the Barfi actor’s residence and creating a commotion.

According to ETimes, a few media personnel have even tripped over speed breakers and almost injured themselves trying to click the celebrities. A resident stated that ‘they were virtually attacking cars’. PHRA Secretary Madhu Poplai confirmed the complaint and said, “I had no option but to call a senior inspector. After he arrived, we had a meeting in the lobby of Ranbir‘s building Vastu. A member of the organiser group that has made the arrangements of the shaadi, who was incidentally in Vastu at that instant, was called to join the meeting.”

He also said that it has been risky to drive through the area for the past 3/4 days. “Nearly 200 media people are standing at different points on the road and they swoop from nowhere at any given instant. This is nothing but violation of safety norms.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was attended by many celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ayan Mukerji, Akash Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Saif Ali Khan, Aadar Jain, Navya Naveli, Karan Johar, and many others.

After several years of dating each other, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally taking the plunge. In a couple of days from today, Ranbir and Alia will be officially man and wife. In all these years of being in a relationship, the star couple made headlines numerous times. Fans would excitedly wait for their pictures from any public appearance they made together. During all these times, whenever the couple was surrounded by a crowd, Ranbir was extremely protective of his ladylove. 

So, ahead of their D-Day on the 15th of April, at the Barfi actor’s residence Vastu, let us look at 5 such instances when Ranbir turned into a protective beau for Alia Bhatt. 

1. Outside a restaurant

This picture is from last month, when Ranbir and Alia had stepped out in the city for a dinner date. The couple looked gorgeous in their effortlessly stylish date-night outfits. As they walked out of the restaurant, the paps clicked them. Ranbir held onto Alia, as he followed behind her. 

2. Amid airport chaos 

After welcoming New Year 2022 with a holiday together, Alia and Ranbir were back in the city. At the airport, the latter shielded the actress amid the chaos, as she tried to get inside the car. 

3. At the airport again 

Not only this year, but Ranbir was also a doting boyfriend to Alia at the beginning of 2020 as well. The couple was clicked at the Mumbai airport as they returned from their New Year’s vacation with Ayan Mukerji. Here too, Ranbir tried to keep the crowd at bay. 

4. At the Jodhpur airport 

Last year, the couple had jetted off to Rajasthan to celebrate Ranbir’s 39th birthday. As they headed back, fans spotted them at Jodhpur airport. While they were swamped by fans trying to click selfies, Ranbir turned his protective boyfriend mode on and held Alia by her arms, ensuring that she is safe. 

5. When Ranbir dropped Alia home

This was in the year 2018, a few months after they made their first public appearance together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. Ranbir and Alia were exiting a venue together, when the former showed his concern for the Raazi actress and said, “Alia, I will drop you?” She then sat in his car as the two left the venue.

Neetu Kapoor says ‘Main kyun bataun’ as paps ask about Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s wedding date; WATCH

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming wedding has become one of the biggest news in the world of entertainment at the moment. However, the star couple and their close ones have chosen to be extremely tight-lipped about any detail regarding the D-Day. Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Kapoor has been asked about their wedding dates quite a few times. And this time, the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress had an epic reply as a member of the paparazzi asked her about the same.  

Neetu Kapoor was recently clicked at a shoot set, when a pap asked her about Ranbir and Alia’s wedding date. To this, she replied, “Aage badho yaar. Aapko kya hain, hum kabhi bhi karein. Main kyun bataun? (Move on. How does it matter to you when the wedding is? Why should I tell you?) When the pap replied that they will arrive for the photographs, she smiled and said, “Most welcome.”

Earlier, in a chat with PTI, Neetu Kapoor had dodged the question on the same. She said, “I have been hearing about it (the wedding) for two years but I don’t know when (it will happen). Let’s see when. Sometimes, it is going to happen in Ranthambore, RK Studios. Places and dates keep changing (referring to media reports),” said the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress. She further added that they are she hopes and prays it happen very soon.

Meanwhile, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that the wedding festivities will begin on the 13th of April and continue until the 17th of April. The couple will tie the knot at Ranbir’s Vastu residence late into the night of 15th April, between 2 am to 4 am, i.e in the early morning of 16th April.

Alia became a bride in Abhishek Varman’s Kalank, which had an ensemble cast with Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, and Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is the hottest topic of discussion in the world of entertainment at the moment. After dating each other for several years, the much-in-love couple is all set to tie the knot this week in the presence of family and friends. The duo has been extremely tight-lipped about any details regarding their big day. However, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that the wedding festivities will kick off on the 13th of April and will continue until the 17th of April. And now, ahead of their D-Day, RK Studios has been extremely well-decorated with lights!

Sometime back, pictures from RK Studios, established by Raj Kapoor surfaced on the internet and it is an absolute sight as it has been decked up with lights. It should be noted that The pre-wedding festivities like Mehendi, Sangeet, and Cocktail party will be held at RK Studios, while the wedding will be at Ranbir’s Vaastu residence. Earlier today, pictures of Ranbir Kapoor’s ancestral house, the Krishna Raj Bungalow, named after his grandparents Krishna Kapoor and Raj Kapoor went viral on social media. The bungalow, which is a well-known landmark in Chembur, Mumbai is under construction at the moment and the buzz is that Ranbir and Alia will be moving in there after their wedding. The multi-floor building was seen decorated with lights.

We exclusively reported that the star couple will tie the nuptials in the wee hours of the morning of 16th April between 2 am to 4 am, because of the Kapoors’ obsession with the number 8. In addition to this, Pinkvilla exclusively informed that the couple will host a grand reception for their industry friends at Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The reception party will kick-start at 9 pm in the 5-star hotel’s Ballroom. 

A source close to Ranbir revealed, “They have decided to host the reception at Taj Mahal Palace ‘mostly’ on April 17. Alia and Ranbir want to get back to work, but before that, they want to finish all their wedding festivities and so they have decided on this date. The source added that last night Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor visited the high-end seafront hotel to book it for their wedding reception.
