Realme Note 50 Live Images, Key Specifications Surface Online; Tipped to Launch on January 24

Realme has announced that it will soon unveil the Realme Note series of smartphones. The company has not yet confirmed the name of any model but has officially teased the launch date of the first Realme Note phone. Details about a rumoured Redmi Note 1 recently surfaced online suggesting that the handset will launch sometime later this month. There have been leaks saying that a phone with the moniker Realme Note 50 could be the first model in the new upcoming Note series. Now, several leaks hint at key specifications, colour options and design of this purported handset. 

In a Facebook post, Realme Philippines shared a teaser for the first Realme Note handset. It showed the back panel of the upcoming model briefly in a black colour option and confirmed its launch on January 24. The company, however, has yet to confirm the model name or any other details about this handset.

Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) has shared a leaked poster for the Realme Note 50 that is tipped to launch on January 24. He said that the phone will launch globally in black and blue colourways. He claims that it will be a rebranded version of a Realme C-series model and is likely to be a budget offering. 

The details seen in the leaked poster suggest that the Realme Note 50 will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and carry TUV Rheinland certification. It is likely to come with a thickness of 7.9mm and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Simultaneously there have been live images of the Realme Note 50 that have surfaced online, mainly from accounts of content creators from the Philippines. It shows the rear panel of the phone with a glossy finish, similar to the Sunny Oasis design we have seen in the Realme C67 models. The dual rear camera setup of the phone appear as individual circular units alongside an LED flash also housed in a circular unit on the top left corner of the panel. Meanwhile, in an unboxing video posted by Instagram user Superbdan (@superbdan), we also see the handset in a blue shade. 

The images and videos of the Realme Note 50 also show that the model is equipped with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom, while the power and volume buttons are seen on the right edge. The screen is seen with thin side bezels, a centred waterdrop notch for the front camera, and a relatively thicker chin.

According to the leak, the base Redmi Note 13 5G will likely be priced at Rs. 20,999 for its 6GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB and the 12GB + 256GB options could be marked at Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 24,999, respectively. It is expected to be available in Prism Gold, Arctic White, and Stealth Black shades

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, on the other hand, is said to start from Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, whereas the 12GB + 256GB option could be priced at Rs. 32,999. The leak shows that this Pro model will likely be offered in Arctic White, Coral Purple, and Midnight Black colours.

The top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, is expected to be available in three configurations. As per the leak, the 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants will likely be offered at Rs. 33,999, Rs. 35,999 and Rs. 37,999, respectively. This model is said to launch in India in Fusion White, Fusion Purple, and Fusion Black colourways.

The Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 5G models are expected to get similar specifications as their Chinese counterparts. In China, the base model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, while the Pro and Pro+ models respectively come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 and MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipsets.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Teaser Page Goes Live; Confirms Flipkart Availability Ahead of January 4 India Launch

Redmi Note 13 series is confirmed to launch in India on January 4. The series was unveiled earlier this year in September in China. Redmi Note 13 Pro Price in India Tipped Ahead of Scheduled January 4 Launch in the Country

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) suggested in a post on X that the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be priced in India at Rs. 32,999 for its 12GB + 256GB variant. He did not add whether the phone will be available in other configurations in the country. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will reportedly cost EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 31,800) 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version could be priced at EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 36,400).

The design of the Redmi Note 13 4G and Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G looks nearly identical to their 5G counterparts. The report also adds that the Poco X6 Pro is expected to launch as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the base Poco X6 may be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 5G. The Redmi Note 13 models were released in China in September, alongside a third Redmi Note 13 Pro+ variant.

Meanwhile, the Poco X5 series was unveiled in February in the global market. The Poco X5 Pro 5G was launched in India the same month and was priced at Rs. 22,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Display Specifications Confirmed Ahead of September 21 Launch

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is scheduled to launch on September 21 alongside the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro. The series will succeed the Redmi Note 12 lineup, which was released in 2022. Redmi Note 13 Series Phone Reportedly Spotted on IMEI Website: Everything We Know

Redmi is reportedly working on Note 13 series smartphones. The Chinese mobile manufacturing company unveiled the Redmi Note 12 series this year. The series includes both 4G and 5G models. According to an ITHome report, a new Redmi model was spotted on the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) website. It is therefore being speculated that the model could be one from the purported Redmi Note 13 series, which is likely to succeed the Redmi Note 12 series.

In India, many Redmi phones released first in China have been rebranded and launched as Poco smartphones, which is also a Xiaomi subsidiary.

It is also unlikely that the company will launch the Redmi Note 13 models in the market anytime soon. The Note 12 series models and all its variants are still relatively new in the space. As is the trend with most phone manufacturing companies, two successive series usually get a gap of at least a year in between their releases. It can be assumed that Redmi Note 13 series will most probably be available towards the beginning of 2024.

Launched in January, the Redmi Note 12 5G smartphones included the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G models. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the base model is priced in India at Rs. 17,999. The mid-range Pro model is marked at Rs. 24,999 for its 6GB RAM  + 128GB storage option, while the high-end Pro+ starts at Rs. 29,999 for its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option.

In March, Redmi introduced the Note 12 4G which is listed at EUR 229 (roughly Rs. 20,400) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G was unveiled in April and was marked at IDR 4,599,000 (roughly Rs. 25,000) for its base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
