Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, Note 13 Pro+ 5G With 6.67-inch Screens Debut in India: Price, Specifications

Redmi Note 13 5G series — comprising the Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, and Note 13 Pro+ 5G — was launched in India on Thursday. The company’s latest models sport 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screens and are equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset and is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 200-megapixel primary camera. The handsets run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 and will get three OS upgrades, according to the company.

Redmi Note 13 5G pricing starts at Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB+128GB RAM and storage configuration, while the phone is also available in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants priced at Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999, respectively. The phone comes in Arctic White, Prism Gold, and Stealth Black colourways.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations that cost Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 27,999, while a 12GB+256GB model is priced at Rs. 29,999. It will be sold in Arctic White, Coral Purple, and Midnight Black colour options.

On the other hand, the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is priced at Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB+256GB storage model, while the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants are priced at Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 35,999, respectively. The handset is available in Fusion Black, Fusion Purple, and Fusion White colourways.

The handsets will be available for purchase on January 10 via Mi.com, Flipkart, and retail outlets. The company is offering a bank discount or exchange bonus of Rs. 1,000 on the Redmi Note 13 5G, and a Rs. 2,000 discount or exchange bonus on the Redmi Note 13 Pro or Note 13 Pro+ models, for ICICI Bank card transactions. 

Redmi Note 13 5G specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 13 5G runs on Android 13 with the company’s MIUI 14 skin on top. It sports a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, support for 1,920Hz pulse width modulation (PWM dimming), a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handset runs on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chip with a Mali-G57 GPU paired with up to 12GB of RAM.

For photos and videos, the Redmi Note 13 5G features a 108-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front for taking selfies and video calls.

Redmi has equipped the handset with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and a proximity sensor. It also has an infrared blaster to control various appliances and devices.

The Redmi Note 13 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 33W. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. The Pro models also feature 6.67-inch AMOLED screens, but they are curved and have a slightly higher 1.5K resolution (1,220×2,712 pixels), support up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness, and have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip while the Note 13 Pro+ has a Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC — both phones are equipped with up to 12GB of RAM.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G are equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera with a f/1.65 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. Like the standard Redmi Note 13 5G model, these phones also sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

You get up to 256GB and 512GB (UFS 3.1) of inbuilt storage on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G, respectively. The top-of-the-line model offers support for Wi-Fi 6 routers while the other models support Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) connectivity, according to the company. The smartphones also offer NFC support and have an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G packs a 5,100mAh battery with support for 67W charging, while the Note 13 Pro+ has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging support and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The handsets measure 161.2×74.3x8mm (Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G) and 161.4×74.2×8.9mm (Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G) and weigh 187g and 205g, respectively.

Redmi Note 13 Series With 6.7-Inch AMOLED Displays Launched: Price, Specifications

Redmi launched the Note 13 series in China on Thursday, September 22. The lineup includes a base Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model. The series succeeds the Redmi Note 12 lineup, which was also released with three models globally. Design renders and key specifications of several of the handsets were teased previously. Now, the phones are available for purchase in China, with the sale starting next week. Following are the price and feature details of the three Note 13 models.

Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, Note 13 Pro+ price, availability

The 6GB + 128GB variant of the Redmi Note 13 is priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 13,900). The 8GB + 128GB  and the 8GB + 256GB variants are listed at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 15,100) and CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,400), respectively. The top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB option is marked at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,700).

On the other hand, the 128GB and 256GB variants of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 8GB RAM option are available at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,400) and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,700), respectively. The Note 13 Pro is also offered at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 22,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,100) for the 12GB + 512GB option. The high-end 16GB + 512GB variant of the pro model is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 24,300).

Meanwhile, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is available in three storage options – 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB which are listed at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800), CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 25,100) and CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,200), respectively.

The base Note 13 model is offered in Black, Blue and White colour options. The Pro model comes in Black, Blue, Silver and White shades, while the Pro+ handset is available in Black, Silver and White colourways. The sale of the phones will start from September 26 on the Xiaomi China website.

Featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, the Note 13 comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. It ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14.

The dual rear camera unit of the Note 13 handset includes a 100-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.

Redmi Note 13 Pro specifications

The Pro model has a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset along with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. It comes with the same MIUI 14 OS as the base model.

In the photography department, the Note 13 Pro sports a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor at the back and a 16-megapixel sensor at the front. It packs a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ specifications

The high-end Pro+ model comes with similar display, OS, storage and camera specifications as the Pro handset. It is backed by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. The handset comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Display Specifications Confirmed Ahead of September 21 Launch

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is scheduled to launch on September 21 alongside the Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro. The series will succeed the Redmi Note 12 lineup, which was released in 2022. The Chinese manufacturer has teased the designs of the Redmi Note 13 models ahead of the launch. Redmi has also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming handsets including camera and processor details. In a new teaser, Xiaomi has now confirmed the display specifications of the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 13 Pro+ model.

According to a Weibo post, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will come with a curved AMOLED display, which would make it the first model in the Redmi Note series to get a curved panel. The screen will have a resolution of 1.5K, a peak brightness level of 1300 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 1920Hz. 

The display will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well, which is said to have 1.5 times more drop and scratch resistance compared to the previous generation glass. Redmi adds that the display on the Note 13 Pro+ will arrive with improved luminous efficiency, low blue light, no flicker, and more eye protection. As seen in the teasers, the display will offer slim bezels and a narrow 2.37mm chin.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was previously spotted on the TENAA certification site with a 6.67-inch OLED display and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The handset has previously been teased to be equipped with a 4nm MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC. The Note 13 Pro models have also been confirmed to feature a custom 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor.

Expected to succeed the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, the Note 13 Pro+ has been tipped to sport an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera alongside an LED flash unit, and a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. It is also expected to pack up to 18GB of RAM and a 4,880mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ launched with an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ were priced in India at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 32,999 at launch, respectively. It is offered in Arctic White, Iceberg Blue, and Obsidian Black colour options.
