Redmi Note 13 Pro Turbo Specifications Leak, Could Debut Globally as Poco F6

Redmi Note 13 Turbo specifications have been leaked by a tipster, ahead of the arrival of the most powerful handset in the Note 13 series. The smartphone is likely to be equipped with Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and could sport an OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. While there’s no word from the company in terms of launch plans, the handset could make its debut outside China as a Poco-branded phone, just like its predecessor.

According to details leaked by tipster Experience more (translated from Chinese) on Weibo, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will sport a flat 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The displays are said to be manufactured by two suppliers — TCL Huaxing and Shenzhen Tianma. The tipster also claims that the phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

For photos and videos, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo is said to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor. Details of the other rear cameras are currently under wraps. Meanwhile, the tipster says that the smartphone will be equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

In addition to the smartphone’s specifications, the Weibo user has also hinted at the design of the upcoming smartphone. The Redmi Note 13 Turbo is said resemble the Redmi K70E, while the rear panel could borrow design elements from the Redmi Note 12T and the Redmi Note 13 Pro, according as per the tipster.

Last year, the company launched the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China, while it was introduced in international markets as the Poco F5. The company is yet to announce plans to launch the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, which could eventually make its debut outside China as the Poco F6 — recent leaks suggest it will feature similar specifications. We can expect to hear more about these smartphones in the coming weeks or months.

Redmi Note 13 Turbo Specifications Tipped, Said to Get Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

Amidst leaks of upcoming Qualcomm processors for mobile devices, there’s now a new leak that suggests two upcoming smartphones that could feature it. Qualcomm, as per a recent report, is expected to announce its latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC alongside a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 at an event on March 18 in China. Now a leak has hinted that a new Redmi Note series phone called the Turbo is expected to feature one of the newly launched processors. More details of this mystery handset, which is also said to be rebranded as the Poco F6 in some markets, have been leaked.

The information comes from a known tipster, Digital Chat Station, who put up a post on Chinese microblogging platform, Weibo. The post suggests specifications of the previously rumoured device tagged as the Redmi Note 13 Turbo marked as model V2352A. The Turbo, according to an older report, is also said to get rebranded as the Poco F6 in certain markets (including India).

Getting into the details about the Redmi Turbo, it is said to have some ‘flagship killer’ specifications. Key among these are the soon to be announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The processor is said to feature one Cortex-X4 core with a clock speed of 3.01GHz, four Cortex-A720 cores with a clock speed of 2.61GHz, and three Cortex-A520 cores with a clock speed of 1.84GHz for its CPU.

Additional details from this leak include more information about the phone’s display. The tipster claims that the phone will have a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The display will also feature a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and also offer pulse-width modulation (PWM) dimming at 2,160Hz. The phone is said to run Android 14 out of the box, which means it should run Xiaomi’s HyperOS custom skin. There’s also information about the Redmi Note 13 Turbo’s battery which the tipster claims has a capacity of 6,000mAh and can be charged using a cable at 80W.

Details about the phone getting re-branded as the Poco F6 for India are a bit conflicting. This is mainly because the currently available Poco F5 (Review) has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, meaning that the ideal processor upgrade would have been the unreleased Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. There are higher chances that Redmi Note 13 Turbo could be re-branded as the Poco F6 Pro instead, which according to a recent leak is said to offer a more relatable Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

As both smartphones have not been officially announced, we highly recommend that our readers take the above information with a pinch of salt.

Poco X6 Neo to Launch in India by March, Poco F6 to Follow: Report

Poco X6 Neo is expected to launch in India soon. The model, said to join the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro lineup, is tipped to come as a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro. Previous leaks had suggested key specifications it could carry and the likely price of the smartphone in the country. Now a tipster has hinted at the launch timeline of the phone. Another model, the Poco F6, previously spotted on an Indian certification site, has also been tipped to be unveiled in the country soon.

A 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), claimed that the Poco X6 Neo will launch in India by March 2024, and it will also likely be the company’s last X-series model to launch in the first half of 2024. The tipster added that the Poco F6 will debut in the country by July 2024. This model was earlier spotted on the BIS certification site but not much is known about it yet. We are likely to learn more about the Poco F6 in the coming weeks, as we inch closer to its supposed launch.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Poco X6 Neo will be priced at around or below Rs. 15,000. The phone is said to get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. It could also get a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone has also been tipped to arrive with a 3.5mm audio jack and an IP54-rated build for dust and splash resistance.

Since the Poco X6 Neo is expected to launch as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it is likely to share similar specifications. The Redmi model carries a 108-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel shooter at the back and a 16-megapixel sensor for its front camera. It ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14 and sports a 6.67-inch (1,080×2,400 pixels) 120Hz OLED display. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Notably, the Redmi Note 13R Pro launched at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the only 12GB + 256GB option. The phone is offered in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold (translated from Chinese) colourways.
