Poco X6 Neo India Launch Set for March 13; Design Teased, Flipkart Availability Confirmed

Poco X6 Neo is confirmed to launch soon in India. The company has officially teased the design of the phone alongside the launch date. It also revealed some features of the upcoming handset and its colour option. There have been several leaks and reports recently that have suggested some key specifications of the Poco X6 Neo and its possible price range in the country. The X6 Neo is said to be a rebranded variant of the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

Poco India confirmed via a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Poco X6 Neo will launch in India on March 13 at 12pm IST. The phone is confirmed to be available via Flipkart. A microsite on the e-commerce website teases the upcoming handset in a blue colour option. It is seen with a rectangular rear camera module, housing two camera sensors alongside an LED flash unit.

The print on the rear camera module of the Poco X6 Neo confirms that the phone will be equipped with a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor, as previously tipped. The handset is claimed to sport a “bezel-less design” with a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. In the teaser images, we see the model with a flat centred hole-punch display, with almost negligible side bezels. It has also been teased to measure 7.69mm in thickness.

Meanwhile, the Flipkart teaser also shows the Poco X6 Neo in a different colour option. It could be the orange shade, leaked live images of which were previously shared by Gadgets 360. It may, therefore, be safe to assume that the phone will be offered in a minimum of two colour options.

The Poco X6 Neo has earlier been tipped to launch in India with 8GB of RAM and two storage options. It is also said to be priced below Rs. 18,000 in the country. Earlier leaks claimed that the phone may carry an OLED display, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.

If Poco X6 Neo is indeed a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ OLED screen, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera sensor.

Poco X6 Neo Launch Timeline, Storage Variants, Other Key Features Tipped

Poco X6 Neo is expected to launch in India soon. The company has officially teased the upcoming launch of a Neo model but has yet to confirm the moniker. However, recently Gadgets 360 shared exclusive live images of a Poco handset with the name X6 Neo and shared some key features of the purported phone. Now, a new leak has also suggested some important specifications of the handset. The phone is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro.

Tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz) shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the Poco X6 Neo is likely to launch in India in the next 10 days, that is, by March 17. He added that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM and with two storage options. The handset is also tipped to be offered in three colourways. The tipster added that the phone will be priced below Rs. 18,000 in the country.

According to the aforementioned tipster, the Poco X6 Neo is expected to feature an OLED display, a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor, and support 33W wired fast charging. Gadgets 360 previously reported that the phone is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Another leak added that the phone could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, carry a dual rear camera unit, and be priced under Rs. 16,000.

In the leaked live images of the Poco X6 Neo shared by Gadgets 360 previously, the phone was seen in an orange colourway with a sparkly finish. The slightly raised rectangular rear camera module houses two vertically arranged camera sensors in the top left corner alongside an LED flash unit. The volume rocker and the power button appear on the right edge of the handset.

Notably, the Redmi Note 13R Pro comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ OLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging, a 108-megapixel dual rear camera unit, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It launched in China at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the sole 12GB + 256GB configuration in November 2023. The phone is offered in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold (translated from Chinese) colour options.

Poco X6 Neo to Launch in India by March, Poco F6 to Follow: Report

Poco X6 Neo is expected to launch in India soon. The model, said to join the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro lineup, is tipped to come as a rebranded Redmi Note 13R Pro. Previous leaks had suggested key specifications it could carry and the likely price of the smartphone in the country. Now a tipster has hinted at the launch timeline of the phone. Another model, the Poco F6, previously spotted on an Indian certification site, has also been tipped to be unveiled in the country soon.

A 91Mobiles report, citing tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), claimed that the Poco X6 Neo will launch in India by March 2024, and it will also likely be the company’s last X-series model to launch in the first half of 2024. The tipster added that the Poco F6 will debut in the country by July 2024. This model was earlier spotted on the BIS certification site but not much is known about it yet. We are likely to learn more about the Poco F6 in the coming weeks, as we inch closer to its supposed launch.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Poco X6 Neo will be priced at around or below Rs. 15,000. The phone is said to get a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will likely be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. It could also get a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone has also been tipped to arrive with a 3.5mm audio jack and an IP54-rated build for dust and splash resistance.

Since the Poco X6 Neo is expected to launch as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it is likely to share similar specifications. The Redmi model carries a 108-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel shooter at the back and a 16-megapixel sensor for its front camera. It ships with Android 13-based MIUI 14 and sports a 6.67-inch (1,080×2,400 pixels) 120Hz OLED display. It comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Notably, the Redmi Note 13R Pro launched at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,000) for the only 12GB + 256GB option. The phone is offered in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold (translated from Chinese) colourways.
