Offered in Black Steel and Radiant Steel colourways, the OnePlus Watch 2 price starts at Rs. 24,999. It is rolling out to select countries and will be available for purchase starting March 4 via Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, OnePlus online store, Reliance Digital, Croma, and other offline stores.

The OnePlus Watch 2 offers a 1.43-inch round AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, a 60Hz flash rate, a 1,000 peak brightness level, and a 2.5D sapphire crystal screen. The watch is powered by a Snapdragon W5 SoC, as well as a BES2700 chipset, the former of which helps run Wear OS apps, while the latter runs RTOS which is responsible for background activity.

OnePlus Watch 2 users can also switch between the two OS’s – Wear OS 4 and RTOS. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Alongside the military-grade MIL-STD-810H build, the stainless steel chassis of the wearable comes with 5ATM and IP68 rating. 

The company has packed a large 500mAh battery in the OnePlus Watch 2 with support for 7.5W VOOC fast charging that is said to charge the watch from zero to 100 in 60 minutes. The watch is said to offer up to 48 hours of battery life with heavy usage, up to 100 hours of battery life in Smart Mode, and up to 12 days of battery life in Power Saver mode.

The smartwatch also carries an optical heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter sensor, and helps track sleep cycle and stress levels of users. It supports more than 11 professional and more than 100 sports modes. The OnePlus Watch 2 has L1+L5 GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C connectivity. Weighing 49g, the watch measures 47mm x 46.6mm x 12.1mm in size.

OnePlus Watch 2 Officially Teased; Tipped to Launch on February 26

OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to launch soon. Details about the smartwatch have been doing rounds of the rumour mill for the past few weeks. It is expected to succeed the OnePlus Watch, which was unveiled in India in April 2021. OnePlus Watch 2 has been tipped to come with upgrades over the preceding model. Previous leaks have suggested key features of the smart wearable, its design renders, and hinted at its launch timeline. Now the company has officially teased the watch.

In a post on X, OnePlus shared an image with the outline of a watch dial alongside the caption “It’s about time,” suggesting the launch of a new smartwatch, possibly the OnePlus Watch 2. The circular body is seen with two buttons on the right side – one likely the home button while the other one looks like a rotating crown, which may also be functional. 

The teaser was also shared by the company in a OnePlus Community post, where they asked people to guess what the product is and noted that only “wrong answers” are acceptable and the “best wrong answer wins the right prize.” Open to all users from India, North America and Europe, this contest will close on February 26, at 5pm IST, which could be the date when OnePlus launches the product.

Backing this theory is a claim by tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) who states that the OnePlus Watch 2 will be introduced on February 26. This also aligns with the tipster’s previous claim that the smartwatch will launch during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 that is being held in Barcelona from February 26 to February 29.

The OnePlus Watch 2 has earlier been tipped to come with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, and is expected to ship with WearOS 3 or WearOS 4. It has also been spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website suggesting an imminent India launch.

OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to launch soon. The smartwatch is said to succeed the OnePlus Watch, which was released in March 2021 with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display that offers a 2.5D curved glass protection. The smartwatch is said to offer a battery life of up to 14 days. Although the OnePlus Watch 2 launch date has not yet been announced officially, details about the smart wearable have surfaced online previously. A launch timeline of the watch had also been tipped earlier. Now, the purported smartwatch has been spotted on an Indian certification site, hinting at its India launch.

The OnePlus Watch is listed on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website with the model number OPWWE231. The listing suggests that the launch date of the smartwatch is inching closer. The BIS listing also confirms that the watch will see an India release.

An earlier report suggested that the OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to launch in 2024, likely alongside the OnePlus 12 flagship smartphone. The report added that the upcoming smartwatch is expected to sport a circular display. Although it is expected to offer a few significant upgrades over the OnePlus Watch, it is expected to run on a custom RTOS platform like its preceding model.

OnePlus Watch 2 With Circular Display Tipped to Launch Next Year

OnePlus Watch was launched in March 2021. The smartwatch was later offered in limited edition models. It comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass protection and claims to offer up to 14 days of battery life. It is expected to be succeeded by the OnePlus Watch 2, although this has not yet been officially announced by the company. However, a new leak has surfaced on the Web that suggests the launch timeline of this purported smart wearable. The tipster also hints at one of its key design elements.

Tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb) claimed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that the OnePlus Watch 2 will likely launch in 2024 and be equipped with a circular display. According to the tipster, this is keeping up with the recent trend in OnePlus products with round features including the previous OnePlus Watch. For example, the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Pad, both feature circular rear camera modules, the tipster noted.

Moreover, the OnePlus Open, the company’s foldable smartphone that is expected to launch soon, has also been tipped to carry a circular rear camera module. Leaked design renders of the OnePlus 12 have also shown the handset with a round camera module.

It is likely that the OnePlus Watch 2 will arrive with several upgrades over the preceding model. The OnePlus Watch runs custom RTOS and the upcoming model will also likely run the same OS.
