OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock Limited Edition Tipped to Debut in India Soon

OnePlus has added a new variant to its OnePlus 11 series that was launched in India in February. Dubbed the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock limited edition, the phone carries a finish that resembles Jupiter’s surface. It has been launched in China recently and is tipped to make its debut in the Indian market as well. The phone is said to use a material made up of 3D microcrystalline rock that makes it look like the surface of Jupiter. The phone will go on sale in China from April 3.

Tipster Max Jambor tweeted that the OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock limited edition will be launched in India as well. However, it is yet to be confirmed by the company. The phone comes with a rough textured back panel that feels like natural rock formations. The phone has already debuted in China and is listed on the OnePlus China website. The company has said that the material crossover used to design the new OnePlus 11 Jupiter Rock edition has never been seen in the industry before.

It took over a year of research and development to develop and manufacture the back of the phone, said the company.

OnePlus 11 5G, the Shenzen-based company’s flagship model, will go on sale in India today (February 14). The smartphone was launched in India on February 7, a week ago before its sale date. OnePlus 11 5G debuted alongside the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which comes with quite a few improvements over its predecessor. The handset offers two configurations and as many colour options. OnePlus 11 5G and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 are scheduled to launch at the company’s Cloud 11 event next year. The Shenzhen-based company, in an official announcement, revealed the details of the upcoming OnePlus Cloud 11 launch event, which is scheduled to take place on February 7, 2023. The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 11 5G will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm. The smartphone is said to be the successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro.

A few other leaks have been reported earlier this month, suggesting the specifications of the flagship smartphone, which is said to sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. It could reportedly launch in two configurations — 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 16GB RAM + 256GB storage.

On the other hand, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2’s renders have also been leaked online. The earbuds, similar in design to the OnePlus Buds Pro, were spotted to feature a Dynaudio logo on the inside and outside of the case.
