iQoo 12 Series Could Launch on November 7; Colour Options, Battery Details Leaked

iQoo 12 series launch could happen very soon. The date is yet to be officially confirmed by the Vivo sub-brand, but a fresh leak suggests that the iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will go official on November 7. The iQoo 11 series successors are said to come in three different shades. The iQoo 12 is tipped to feature a 4,880mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The iQoo 12 series is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is rumoured to pack up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Known tipster Panda is Bald (translated from Chinese) on Weibo claimed that iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will debut in China on November 7. They are said to be available in black, red, and white colour options.

Another tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) suggested the battery and charging details of the iQoo 12 lineup citing an alleged UFCS listing of the handsets. As per the leak, the regular iQoo 12 will come with a 4,880mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging. The iQoo 12 Pro, on the other hand, could offer a larger 4,980mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

Going by past leaks, the iQoo 12 series may debut with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is said to offer up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. They could ship with Android 14 and sport Samsung E7 AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2K and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. They are also said to come with metal bodies.

The iQoo 12 series is tipped to carry a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and another 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and OIS support.

iQoo 11 5G With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC Confirmed to Launch Soon: All Details

iQoo 11 5G will launch in Malaysia with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Chinese smartphone company has confirmed on Thursday after some initial speculation. The new Qualcomm processor was launched on Wednesday during the annual Snapdragon Tech Summit. It is based on a 4nm process technology and is touted to deliver 60 percent improved artificial intelligence (AI) performance than older chipsets. Further, it features real-time raytracing for gaming and supports INT4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Besides iQoo, Motorola and Oppo have also confirmed that their upcoming flagship phones will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The Vivo sub-brand, via its official Malaysian Facebook handle, confirmed the presence of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC on the upcoming iQoo 11 5G. iQoo has not announced the exact launch date and time of iQoo 11 series launch, but it is shown with a ‘coming soon’ label. The poster suggests a BMW Motorsport-inspired design for the upcoming smartphone with stripes in red, blue, and black shades.

The iQoo 11 5G could debut as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphone in Malaysia. iQoo is speculated to unveil iQoo 11, iQoo 11 Pro, and iQoo 11 Legend smartphones under the iQoo 11 lineup. Past leaks have suggested that the iQoo 11 would pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. It is tipped to come with a 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display.

The iQoo 11 is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto unit. For selfies, it may include a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The iQoo 11 is said to come in 8GB, 12GB RAM, and 256GB and 512GB storage options.

Apart from iQoo, Oppo and Motorola have also announced the launch of new smartphones with Qualcomm’s latest flagship silicon. Oppo’s next Find X series flagship and Moto X40 will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

iQoo 11 Legend Tipped to Be The Top-End Variant in iQoo 11 Series: Report

iQOO 11 Legend, said to be the higher-end variant upcoming flagship iQoo 11 series, is reportedly in works. According to a recent tip, the iQoo 11 Legend model will be released by the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s subset brand iQoo alongside the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro. The tipster has also mentioned that the iQoo 11 Legend model smartphone will ship with 16GB RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. However, it isn’t clear whether the smartphone will be available in other RAM and storage versions, as of yet. Additional specification details of the speculated smartphone have also not been disclosed so far.

It was previously predicted that the flagship iQoo 11 series from the Chinese smartphone maker will feature two smartphones — the vanilla iQoo 11 and iQoo 11 Pro variants. However, according to the latest tip by tipster Sudhanshu in collaboration with 91Mobiles has suggested that the highest-end variant of the lineup will be the iQoo 11 Legend.

The latest tip, however, does not reveal any specification details of the purported iQoo 11 Legend smartphone apart one of the RAM and storage options.

An earlier report suggested that the previously tipped iQoo 11 Pro would feature the yet-to-be-announced Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC alongside Vivo’s own dedicated V2 image processing chip. The iQOO 11 Pro is tipped to run on Android 13 out-of-the-box, while reportedly featuring a BMW Motorsport-inspired design.

Other rumours around the iQoo 11 series suggest that the smartphones may get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX8-series primary camera while featuring a Samsung E6 AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The iQoo 11 and iQoo 11 Pro are tipped to make its way to Indian markets sometime in January 2023.

However, Vivo has not made any official announcements about the launch timeline of the iQoo 11 series smartphones yet.
