However, it is now being reported that the company could launch the upcoming iQoo 12 Pro with only 120W fast charging speed. While the charging speed is suggested to be reduced, the company could rather focus on packing a bigger battery. 

According to a post by tipster DigitalChatStation on Chinese social platform Weibo, iQoo’s parent Vivo has decided to put a hold on providing 200W fast charging support to smartphones. The company is said to instead work to manufacture smartphones with 120W or 100W fast charging speed, but with up to 6,000mAh battery. 

While both the iQoo 10 Pro and iQoo 11 Pro feature 200W fast charging speed, the upcoming iQoo 12 Pro and iQoo 12 will reportedly get 120W fast charging, with 50W wireless charging support on the Pro version. However, the company may improve battery capacity for both the upcoming handsets. According to recent leaks, the iQOO 12 could house a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro version is expected to pack a 5,100mAh battery. 

The iQoo 12 series is expected to launch on November 7. Previous reports have suggested the specifications and the colour options of the upcoming smartphones. Both handsets are said to launch in black, red, and white colour options.

As per the leak, the regular iQoo 12 will come with a 4,880mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging. The iQoo 12 Pro, on the other hand, could offer a larger 4,980mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

Going by past leaks, the iQoo 12 series may debut with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is said to offer up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. iQoo 11 Legend Tipped to Be The Top-End Variant in iQoo 11 Series: Report

iQOO 11 Legend, said to be the higher-end variant upcoming flagship iQoo 11 series, is reportedly in works. According to a recent tip, the iQoo 11 Legend model will be released by the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo’s subset brand iQoo alongside the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 11 Pro.
