Xiaomi 13 Lite Appears on Geekbench Listing Ahead of Global Launch; Specifications Leaked

Xiaomi 13 series will be launched in Barcelona on February 26, a day before the Mobile World Congress 2023 begins. The company will unveil three models in this series — the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, and the Xiaomi 13 Lite. While the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were already launched in China, the global series will reportedly have one more addition i.e, the Xiaomi 13 Lite. The details about all three devices have been doing rounds on the internet. Now, the Xiaomi 13 Lite has appeared on a Geekbench listing, suggesting the processor and its performance.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Lite has been spotted on the Geekbench certification site with model number 2210129SG. The listing suggests that the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM. The phone is hinted to come pre-installed with Android 12, paired with MIUI 13 skin. Additionally, the listing reveals that the phone has scored 793 in single-core tests and 2,938 in multi-core tests.

While the Geekbench listing has only this much information, the phone was recently spotted on German e-retailer CyberPort for a brief time. The listing reportedly revealed its detailed specifications and pricing. Xiaomi 13 Lite is speculated to be available in two shades – Black and Pink.

The other two models — Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro — were already launched in the Chinese market in December 2022. The global variants of the phone are speculated to carry the same features as their Chinese variants. The vanilla variant in the series runs MIUI 14 and has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The phones also appeared on a European retail site, suggesting that the Xiaomi 13 will be priced at EUR 999.90 (roughly Rs. 88,300) for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost EUR 1,299.90 (roughly Rs. 1,14,700). Both smartphones are said to be available in lack and white colour options.

Redmi 12C Global Variant With MediaTek Helio G85 SoC Surfaces on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

Redmi 12C could be launched in global markets soon. Conflicting reports regarding the branding of this upcoming handset have surfaced online. The handset was previously tipped to launch globally as the Poco C55, while a recent report suggests that the Redmi 12C will debut in India in this month. Now, a new Xiaomi handset has surfaced on the Geekbench database. It is believed to be the global version of the Redmi 12C. The handset is listed to pack a 2GHz octa-core chipset, which is believed to be a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.

The global variant of the Redmi 12C has been listed on Geekbench as the Xiaomi 22120RN86G. The purported Redmi 12C model for global markets packs an octa-core chipset with two performance cores clocked at 2GHz and six 1.80GHz efficiency cores. Based on the core configuration, it appears that this chipset is the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It is also listed to feature 4GB of RAM and run on Android 12.

The Redmi 12C’s global variant has achieved a single-core performance score of 355 points and a multi-core performance score of 1,173 points, according to the Geekbench listing. Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal any other specifications of this entry-level smartphone.

The handset has already been launched in China and has a starting price of CNY 699 (roughly Rs. 8,500) for its 4GB + 64GB internal storage model. Meanwhile, the top-end 6GB + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 11,000). We can expect the global variant to also feature similar specifications as the China model.

The Redmi 12C sports a 6.71-inch HD+ display with 500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with a Mali-G52 GPU. There is up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. For optics, this smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging.

Vivo X90 Pro Global Variant With MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC,12GB RAM Spotted on Geekbench

Vivo X90 Pro was launched in China last month alongside the vanilla Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro+. The flagship smartphone is expected to debut in other global markets soon. Ahead of its launch outside China, Vivo X90 Pro was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site, with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC and 12GB RAM. The listing suggests a smartphone with the model number V2219 and Android 13 operating system. Other specifications of the Vivo X90 Pro could be identical to its Chinese variant. It has also reportedly appeared on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) website.

Vivo’s latest flagship smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench website with model number V2219. This is speculated to be associated with the global variant of the Vivo X90 Pro. The Vivo X90 Pro has also reportedly listed on the WPC site with model number V2219, as spotted by MySmartPrice. It is listed with 11W wireless charging support.

Vivo unveiled the Vivo X90 Pro last month in China with an initial price tag of CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 57,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.

The Chinese variant of Vivo X90 Pro runs on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 and features a 6.78-inch AMOLED (1,260x 2,800 pixels) display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The handset has a triple rear camera setup led by 50-megapixel Zeiss 1-inch main sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It comes with up to 512GB non-expandable storage, a fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It is backed by a 4,870mAh battery with 120W fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G With Exynos 1330 SoC Surfaces on Geekbench: Details

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G is believed to be in the works. The South Korean tech giant seems to be developing a successor to the Galaxy M13 5G that launched in India earlier this year in July. A Samsung handset with the model number SM-M146B has surfaced on Geekbench. It is supposedly one of the first pieces of information surfacing regarding the Galaxy M14 5G. The launch of this handset might be a couple of months away. It is listed to pack an octa-core chipset and 4GB of RAM.

A Samsung smartphone bearing the model number SM-M146B has been listed on Geekbench and could be the Galaxy M14 5G. The handset seems to be powered by an octa-core chipset with two CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six CPU cores clocked at 2.0GHz. This chipset could be an Exynos 1330 SoC.

The Galaxy M13 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.0 skin on top. This Samsung smartphone gets a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.

Another budget-oriented Samsung smartphone has also found its way to Geekbench — the Galaxy A14 5G. Its seemingly powered by an octa-core chipset, paired with a Mali-G68 GPU and 4GB of RAM. This handset also runs on Android 13.

Vivo X90 Pro+ With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc, 12GB RAM Surfaces on Geekbench

Vivo X90 series is said to be in the works and might debut in China by the end of December this year. This lineup, including the standard Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+, could also arrive in India around the same time. A Vivo smartphone bearing the model number V2227A has now surfaced on the Geekbench database and is believed to be the top-of-the-line Vivo X90 Pro+. Furthermore, this handset is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

As per the Geekbench listing, a Vivo smartphone with the model number V2227A has received a single-core performance score of 1,483 points and a multi-core performance score of 4,709 points. It is believed to be the Vivo X90 Pro+.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC appears to power the listed Vivo X90 Pro+ model. This octa-core chipset is said to have a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz. There are also three 2.8GHz performance cores and four 2.02GHz efficiency cores.

Now, the smartphone has also surfaced on the Geekbench database. The listed Realme RMX3630 model packs a 2.2GHz octa-core chipset, which is believed to be a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.

The latest development suggests that the new Vivo V-series phone may soon make its way to markets.
