Ranbir-Alia wedding EXCLUSIVE: Dance Deewane Juniors team planning a congratulatory video for Neetu Kapoor

A while back, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that soon after Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding which is scheduled for today, Neetu Kapoor will resume work. She will shoot for Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan’s finale episode tomorrow, where she will promote her upcoming reality show – Dance Deewane Juniors (DDJ). We now have another update on DDJ. We have learnt that the show’s team has plans to congratulate Neetu Kapoor with a special video on one of the upcoming episodes.

“The video will be dedicated to Neetu Kapoor to celebrate the occasion and mark Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s union. However, it is yet unclear on which episode will the AV be played,” informs a source in the know. Meanwhile, earlier today, the veteran actres even took to Instagram to share an image of her mehendi, as well as a pic with her dance squad which includes Rima Jain and Karisma Kapoor. She also shared an image with daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. 

Meanwhile, yesterday the couple’s best friend and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji presented a small glimpse of RK and Alia from the song “Kesariya” from their upcoming film, Brahmastra. 

“For Ranbir and For Alia! And… For this Sacred Journey they are going to embark on soon! Ranbir and Alia… my closest and dearest people in this world… my happy place, and my safe place… who have added everything to my life… and given themselves completely and selflessly to our movie…! We just had to share a piece of their union, from our movie, from our song Kesariya, to Celebrate them… as a Gift to them, and to Everyone!! Wishing that the best of Energies and all the Blessings, all the Joy and all the Purity, surround them as they enter an amazing new chapter of life, together forever,” Ayan captioned the video on Instagram.

We reached out to the channel for a confirmation, however we haven’t received a reply from them as yet.

Ranbir-Alia Wedding: Neetu Kapoor, Shaheen, Soni Razdan & Riddhima Kapoor Sahni arrive for day 2 celebrations

After an intimate Mehendi affair, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is all set to take place today. The couple will tie the knot at their residence in the presence of family and friends. Since Wednesday morning, hectic activity has been witnessed outside Ranbir Kapoor’s residence Vaastu. 

On Thursday morning, Alia’s sister Shaheen and mum Soni Razdan were snapped leaving their Juhu residence and heading to Vastu ahead of the ceremony. Decked up in their ethnic best, the mother-daughter duo wore shades of yellow and sea green respectively. Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were also seen arriving for the big day.

1st Day of Ranbir & Alia’s grand wedding festivities

The biggest wedding of the year is finally happening! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding has remained a well guarded secret until yesterday. However, after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Mehendi ceremony on Wednesday, Neetu and Riddhima Kapoor spoke to the press and confirmed their wedding date. They even showered affection on their newest member of the family. “She is the best, All the best to her,” the soon-to-be mother-in-law told Pinkvilla, while Riddhima added, “Bohot cute hai yaar, ekdum doll jaisi.” On Wednesday, the celebrations began with a puja ceremony followed by a Mehendi ceremony which was attended by close friends and family. Ahead of the ceremony, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her daughter, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Anissa, Ayan Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and the Bhatt family were seen arriving. Even Karan Johar was spotted. The mehendi ceremony took place at the Vastu residence. Everyone glammed up for the ceremony and looked absolutely stunning. Their traditional outfits took our breath away and honestly, we are tempted to be part of these grand wedding festivities.

Amitabh Bachchan wishes his Brahmastra co-stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor on their wedding with a post; Read

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have kick-started their wedding celebration and today was their Mehendi function. It was attended by family members and close friends including Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Pooja Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Mahesh Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aadar Jain, and Karisma Kapoor. Sweet wishes have started to pour in for one of the sweetest couples in B-town.

To join the bandwagon, Ranbir and Alia’s Brahmastra co-star Amitabh Bachchan also wrote a sweet note on their wedding. Big B shared the teaser of the film’s romantic song titled Kesariya. While sharing the video, Mr. Bachchan wrote a congratulatory note. It read, “Wishing our Isha and Shiva all the Love, Luck and Light as they gear up to embark on a very special journey in the coming days. Let’s kickstart the celebration with something special from Team Brahmāstra.”

Earlier today, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji wished the soon-to-be-married couple by releasing a glimpse of the film’s romantic song titled Kesariya. After several years of dating each other, lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally taking the plunge. In a couple of days from today, Ranbir and Alia will be officially man and wife. 3. At the airport again 

Not only this year, but Ranbir was also a doting boyfriend to Alia at the beginning of 2020 as well. The couple was clicked at the Mumbai airport as they returned from their New Year’s vacation with Ayan Mukerji. Here too, Ranbir tried to keep the crowd at bay. 

4. At the Jodhpur airport 

Last year, the couple had jetted off to Rajasthan to celebrate Ranbir’s 39th birthday. As they headed back, fans spotted them at Jodhpur airport. While they were swamped by fans trying to click selfies, Ranbir turned his protective boyfriend mode on and held Alia by her arms, ensuring that she is safe. 

5. When Ranbir dropped Alia home

This was in the year 2018, a few months after they made their first public appearance together at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding. Ranbir and Alia were exiting a venue together, when the former showed his concern for the Raazi actress and said, “Alia, I will drop you?” She then sat in his car as the two left the venue.

Shivangi Joshi calls Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ‘magical couple’; Says they look good together

One of the most adored couples in the entertainment industry, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor is getting married. They dated for a few years and are all set to take their relationship a step ahead. The duo has been extremely tight-lipped about any details regarding their big day. However, Pinkvilla was the first to break the news that their wedding festivities will start from the 13th of April.

Ahead of their wedding, Television actress Shivangi Joshi who is better known for her roles in daily soaps such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Balika Vadhu 2, and others expressed her happiness about the arrangement. In an interview with ABP, Shivangi said, “They make a magical couple and they look so good together. I am very happy for Ranbir and Alia.” To note, the wedding preparations are underway and Vastu, RK Studios, RK House, etc. are getting all decked up.

Earlier, today, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni arrived Mumbai with her husband Bharat Sahni and daughter Samaira. As the media personnel photographed them, they exchanged a few words with Riddhima. When a paparazzo asked her if the wedding is indeed confirmed, she was quick to say, “Haan…milenge jaldi se. (Yes…we shall meet soon)”.

In addition to this, Pinkvilla had exclusively informed that the couple will host a grand reception for their industry friends at Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. The reception party will kick-start at 9 pm in the 5-star hotel’s Ballroom. A source close to Ranbir revealed, “They have decided to host the reception at Taj Mahal Palace ‘mostly’ on April 17.

YouTuber Nikunj Lotia REACTS to viral video on Alia-Ranbir’s wedding, hilariously adds ‘Very sad for myself’

Social media is buzzing with updates about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding. Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to tie the knot this week and fans can’t wait to get the first glimpse of the to-be-married couple together. Recently YouTuber Nikunj Lotia, popularly known by his channel name BeYouNick, shared a hilarious video on Alia-Ranbir’s wedding. The ‘Highway’ actress even commented on the post. 

In the video, Nikunj Lotia could be seen desperately running behind a car that had the banner ‘Alia weds Ranbir’ written on it. He also added a picture of his with Alia and he replaced it with Ranbir’s photo. To make it even funnier he added a sad song to the video. Alia wrote, “ded (laughing emoji)”. Now, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Nikunj Lotia reacted to the video and said, “I felt like I was doing this [making a video] for the first time. I got the same feeling which I got the first time a video made by me went viral.” 

He informed that Alia Bhatt commented on his videos earlier too but once he read the articles, he realised that this is the first time that she reacted to something related to her wedding. 

Meanwhile, it looks like Alia and Ranbir’s wedding prep has begun in full swing. Ranbir’s ancestral house, the Krishna Raj Bungalow, and RK Studios were decorated with lights. Pinkvilla had exclusively reported that the wedding festivities will take place between April 13 to April 17.

Neetu Kapoor says ‘Main kyun bataun’ as paps ask about Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s wedding date; WATCH

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming wedding has become one of the biggest news in the world of entertainment at the moment. However, the star couple and their close ones have chosen to be extremely tight-lipped about any detail regarding the D-Day. Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Kapoor has been asked about their wedding dates quite a few times. And this time, the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress had an epic reply as a member of the paparazzi asked her about the same.  

Neetu Kapoor was recently clicked at a shoot set, when a pap asked her about Ranbir and Alia’s wedding date. To this, she replied, “Aage badho yaar. Aapko kya hain, hum kabhi bhi karein. Main kyun bataun? (Move on. How does it matter to you when the wedding is? Why should I tell you?) When the pap replied that they will arrive for the photographs, she smiled and said, “Most welcome.”

Earlier, in a chat with PTI, Neetu Kapoor had dodged the question on the same. She said, “I have been hearing about it (the wedding) for two years but I don’t know when (it will happen). Let’s see when. Sometimes, it is going to happen in Ranthambore, RK Studios. Places and dates keep changing (referring to media reports),” said the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actress. She further added that they are she hopes and prays it happen very soon.

Meanwhile, Pinkvilla exclusively reported that the wedding festivities will begin on the 13th of April and continue until the 17th of April. The couple will tie the knot at Ranbir’s Vastu residence late into the night of 15th April, between 2 am to 4 am, i.e in the early morning of 16th April.
