After dating for five long years, the sweetest couple of Bollywood –  Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married today. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family members at the actor’s Vastu residence in Mumbai. The inside wedding photos are all over the Internet as the Kapoors welcomed their bahu, Alia. 

Speaking of which, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a sweet photo with her cousins Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Nitasha Nanda who also attend the wedding. The Kapoor sisters looked regal in the picture as they strike a pose. While sharing the post, Riddhima wrote, “Sister, #bhaikishaadi.” As soon as she shared the photo, fans rushed to drop sweet comments in the comment section.

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor too shared a photo from inside the wedding venue, featuring her father Randhir Kapoor and newlywed Ranbir Kapoor. The groom can be seen smiling with his uncle in the adorable photograph. While sharing the photo, Kareena wrote, “Papa and brother. Pure Happiness.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to commemorate her and Ranbir’s special day by sharing romantic wedding snaps of the couple with a caption that won millions and millions of hearts. “Today, surrounded Kareena Kapoor shares loving PIC of dad Randhir Kapoor & newlywed Ranbir; Fans say ‘Missing Rishi ji’by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. Ranbir-Alia Wedding: Neetu Kapoor, Shaheen, Soni Razdan & Riddhima Kapoor Sahni arrive for day 2 celebrations

After an intimate Mehendi affair, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding is all set to take place today. The couple will tie the knot at their residence in the presence of family and friends. Since Wednesday morning, hectic activity has been witnessed outside Ranbir Kapoor’s residence Vaastu. 

On Thursday morning, Alia’s sister Shaheen and mum Soni Razdan were snapped leaving their Juhu residence and heading to Vastu ahead of the ceremony. Decked up in their ethnic best, the mother-daughter duo wore shades of yellow and sea green respectively. Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were also seen arriving for the big day.

1st Day of Ranbir & Alia’s grand wedding festivities

The biggest wedding of the year is finally happening! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding has remained a well guarded secret until yesterday. However, after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Mehendi ceremony on Wednesday, Neetu and Riddhima Kapoor spoke to the press and confirmed their wedding date. They even showered affection on their newest member of the family. “She is the best, All the best to her,” the soon-to-be mother-in-law told Pinkvilla, while Riddhima added, “Bohot cute hai yaar, ekdum doll jaisi.” On Wednesday, the celebrations began with a puja ceremony followed by a Mehendi ceremony which was attended by close friends and family. Ahead of the ceremony, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her daughter, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Anissa, Ayan Mukerji, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and the Bhatt family were seen arriving. Even Karan Johar was spotted. The mehendi ceremony took place at the Vastu residence. Everyone glammed up for the ceremony and looked absolutely stunning. Their traditional outfits took our breath away and honestly, we are tempted to be part of these grand wedding festivities.

As per the latest reports, pre-wedding functions of the couple will include Sangeet and Cocktail party will happen at RK House, while the wedding is slated to take place on the 15th April at Vastu. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni & Bharat Sahni arrive in Mumbai ahead of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s wedding; PICS

And now as per the recent update, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has also reached Mumbai ahead of the actor’s D-Day.

It is also reported that the power couple will be having an intimate vow ceremony before their traditional wedding ceremony.
