Vivo V30, V30 Pro Price in India Tipped Ahead of Launch: Expected Price, Specifications

Vivo V30 series is set to launch in India next week, and ahead of its debut, a new leak has revealed the possible price of the smartphones in the country. The series, comprising the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro, was unveiled in Indonesia on Wednesday. The phones feature 6.78-inch AMOLED screens and are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. It is expected that the design and specifications of the India variants of the handsets will be similar to the global models.

Tipster Mukul Sharma leaked the price of both handsets on X (formerly known as Twitter). According to the post, the Vivo V30 price in India could start at Rs. 40,000 for the base storage variant and the Vivo V30 Pro India price could be set around Rs. 45,000. The tipster’s post also says that the V30 Pro will mark the debut of Zeiss branded triple rear cameras in India and other select global markets. The series is confirmed to launch on March 7 in the country. The smartphones could be available in Equatorial Green, Puspa White and Volcanic Black colour options.

While the specifications of the India variant of the handsets are not known, the Indonesia variant of the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro both featured a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K (1,260 x 2,800 pixels) AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,800 nits peak brightness level. The base model is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset whereas the pro model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

For optics, the Vivo V30 gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support and another 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The Vivo V30 Pro sports a 50-megapixel portrait lens in addition to complete its triple rear camera unit. Both the phones carry a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.

Vivo V30’s Indonesian variant features up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. The Vivo V30 Pro is equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM paired with 512GB of UFS 3.1 inbuilt storage. Both the phones run on Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14. Both the smartphones are backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a support for 80W wired fast charging.

Vivo V30 Pro Camera Details Tipped Ahead of February 28 Launch

Vivo V30 Pro is set to launch in Thailand later this month. The model will be the latest in the lineup, which consists of the Vivo V30 and the Vivo V30 Lite model. The Pro variant has previously been spotted on benchmarking sites and earlier leaks have suggested several key features of the handset. A retail promotional poster leak has also hinted at an imminent India launch. Now a report shares some key camera details of the Vivo V30 Pro.

The company has confirmed that the Vivo V30 Pro will carry a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor within its triple rear camera unit. Now a 91Mobiles report claims that the phone will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX816 portrait camera alongside a third sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

As per the report, the Vivo V30 Pro will be equipped with a 50-megapixel Eye AF front camera as well, similar to the Vivo V30 model. The Pro model is also tipped to be offered in black and blue colour options in India, whereas the base model may launch in the country in an additional gradient green shade. An earlier MySmartPrice report shared a retail poster for the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro hinting at an eventual India launch.

The Vivo V30 Pro is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The phone may ship with Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (2,800 x 1,260 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,800 nits of peak brightness level.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V30 Pro will get Zeiss lenses and the Aura Light feature. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery that is expected to offer support for 80W wired fast charging. The handset may also arrive with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Vivo V30 Pro Spotted on Bluetooth SIG Site, Expected to Launch Soon

Vivo V30 was unveiled earlier this month, joining the Vivo V30 Lite model which was launched in December 2023. The lineup is expected to get a third model, the Vivo V30 Pro, which has now been spotted on a certification site. The base model of the series launched as a remodelled version of the Vivo S18. Therefore, the Pro model of the series is expected to be a rebadged Vivo S18 Pro. The preceding Vivo V29 Pro came as a remodelled Vivo S17 Pro.

The Vivo V30 Pro with the model number V2319 was spotted (via Gizmochina) on the Bluetooth SIG website, hinting at its imminent launch. The listing does not reveal a lot about the handset other than the fact it will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Since the base Vivo V30 model has launched as a rebadged Vivo S18, the Vivo V30 Pro is expected to be introduced as a redesigned Vivo S18 Pro.

The 12GB + 256GB option of the Vivo S18 Pro launched in China at CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 37,700), while the 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB variants were listed at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,900) and CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 43,300), respectively. The model is offered in black and sea green shades, as well as an option with flowers printed on the back panel.

The Vivo V30 Pro may launch with similar specifications as the Vivo S18 Pro.
