Vivo T2 5G Goes on Sale in India for the First Time: Price, Specifications, Launch Offers

Vivo T2 5G will go on sale in India for the first time on Tuesday via the company’s India e-store and Flipkart. The new Vivo T2-series smartphone was launched in the country last week alongside Vivo T2x 5G. It is sold in Nitro Blaze and Velocity Wave colour options in two RAM and storage configurations. The Vivo T2 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM. With the Extended RAM 3.0 feature, unused free storage can be utilised as virtual memory. A 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, 90Hz refresh rate display, 4,500mAh battery, and 44W fast charging support are the other key specifications of the recently launched phone.

Vivo T2 5G price in India, launch offers

Vivo T2 5G price in India starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM 128GB storage configuration, while the 8GB RAM 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 20,999. This handset is offered in Nitro Blaze and Velocity Wave shades. It is available for purchase starting at at 12am (midnight) on Tuesday via the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart as well as retail stores.

Flipkart’s sale offers on the Vivo T2 5G include a discount of Rs. 1,500 for customers purchasing the handset via HDFC, and ICICI Bank cards or EMI transactions. Customers purchasing the handset with Axis Bank credit card and EMI transactions will get up to Rs. 750 discount. The e-commerce website is providing no-cost EMI options starting at Rs. 6,333.

Vivo T2 5G specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo T2 5G runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and features a 6.38-inch AMOLED (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 6 nm-based Snapdragon 695 SoC under the hood, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.

The Vivo T2 5G sports a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Chinese smartphone maker has equipped the Vivo T2 5G with up to 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, OTG, Beidu, Glonass, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope and proximity sensor. For authentication, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo T2 5G features a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The fast-charging technology is claimed to fill the battery up to 50 percent in as little as 25 minutes. Besides, it measures 158.91×73.53×7.80mm and weighs 172 grams.

Vivo T2 5G Specifications Tipped via Geekbench Listing Ahead of Launch, Could Feature Snapdragon 695 SoC

Vivo T2 5G is all set to launch in India on April 11 and the brand is actively teasing the design of the smartphone via Flipkart. Now, ahead of its official unveiling, a Vivo handset, thought to be the Vivo T2 5G, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing suggests a Snapdragon 695 SoC and 6GB RAM on the upcoming device. The Vivo T2 5G is expected to run Android 13. It is confirmed to carry 64-megapixel dual rear camera unit and a full HD+ AMOLED display with 1300 nits of peak brightness.

A Vivo smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench website with model number V2240. The listing dated April 6 is thought to be of Vivo T2 5G. It has scored 678 points in single-core testing and 1,933 points in multi-core testing. The listing suggests 5.33GB of RAM, which could translate to 6GB on paper. It is shown to run Android 13 operating system as well.

As per the listing, an octa-core chipset codenamed “Holi” will power the phone. It shows two CPU cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.21GHz and six cores capped at 1.80 GHz. These CPU speeds suggest the presence of a Snapdragon 695 SoC on the Vivo T2 5G.

Vivo T2 5G is scheduled to launch in India on April 11. The launch event will begin at 12pm IST. The Vivo T2x 5G will also debut alongside. It will go on sale through Flipkart, the official Vivo website and select retail stores across the country.

Both the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2X 5G are teased to feature full-HD+ AMOLED displays with 1,300 nits of peak brightness and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. They are confirmed to come with a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. They are expected to be priced at under Rs. 20,000.

Vivo T2 5G series is set to launch in India soon as the company prepares to expand its T-series of smartphones in the country. The phone is confirmed to make its debut in India, and details have begun to appear via a Flipkart microsite. Vivo has also given users a sneak peek into the design of the upcoming Vivo T2 5G handset. The Vivo T2 5G is teased to be powered by a Snapdragon SoC. Its display will feature a centre-aligned waterdrop notch and the phone will be equipped with a dual rear camera setup.

The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed the upcoming launch of the Vivo T2 5G series in India via a microsite on Flipkart. The company has also teased the design of the upcoming Vivo T2 5G. The soon-to-be-launched smartphone is teased to feature an unspecified Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm with 5G support. The name of the chipset will be revealed on April 9, according to Vivo. The microsite has also confirmed a dual rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash housed in two circular modules on the phone’s back panel. The camera specifications will be revealed on April 7.

Additionally, the handset is also teased to feature a display with a centre-aligned waterdrop notch. It will sport power and volume buttons on the right spine of the phone. The Vivo T2 5G series’ display specifications are scheduled to be revealed on April 5.

The upcoming phone was recently spotted on the Google Play Console database with the model number Vivo V2222, suggesting a waterdrop notch display with a full-HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It is speculated to run on Android 13. The phone is said to be available in two storage variants – 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage

The phone is set to succeed the Vivo T1 5G that was launched last year. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate.
