Samsung Galaxy M35 Design and Colour Options Leaked Ahead of Debut; Bears Striking Resemblance to Galaxy A35

Samsung Galaxy M35 design has been leaked by a tipster, ahead of the launch of the smartphone in India. The handset is said to arrive in three colour options, and the latest leak suggests that it will closely resemble another Galaxy A series smartphone launched by the company earlier this year. The upcoming Galaxy M35 smartphone is shown to feature a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup. It is also expected to run on Android 14 out-of-the-box just like other handsets recently launched by the company.

Tipster Evan Blass (X: @evleaks) leaked the design and colour options of the Samsung Galaxy M35 via three consecutive posts on X (formerly Twitter) that show the handset in grey, light blue, and dark blue colour options. While these aren’t high-resolution GIFs, they show the phone from various angles, including the display, rear panel, and buttons.

The Samsung Galaxy M35 could feature a triple rear camera setup that is located at the top left corner (when looking at the rear panel) along with an LED flash that is part of what appears to be a plastic back. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M35 is shown to sport a hole punch selfie camera cutout — its predecessor, the Galaxy M34 5G, featured a waterdrop-style display notch. The handset has thick bezels on all four edges, as per the leaked images.

Meanwhile, the leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M35 suggest that it will bear a striking resemblance to the company’s Galaxy A35 handset that was launched in India in March. The differences between these handsets appear to be the lack of the ‘key island’ for the volume and power buttons on the upcoming handset, as well as location of the SIM tray — it’s on the left spine of the Galaxy M35, while the Galaxy A35 has it on the top.

While Samsung is yet to reveal the specifications of the Galaxy M35, the tipster says that the handset will be equipped with a 6,000mAh battery. It is higher than the Samsung Galaxy A35, which packs a 5,000mAh battery. A recent report suggests that the upcoming M-series phone will be equipped with a 6.6-inch display and run on an Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. We can expect to learn more about the Galaxy M35 in the coming days or weeks, before it is launched by the company.

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G has been launched in India today (July 7). The latest Galaxy M-series smartphone is powered by the Exynos 1280 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It comes as a successor to last year’s Galaxy M33 and runs on Android 13-based One UI 5. The Galaxy M34 5G gets a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. The new smartphone houses a 6,000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to two days of battery life on a single charge. 

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G price in India, availability

Price of the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G in India is set at Rs. 16,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs. 18,999. These are introductory prices with bank offers. Samsung has not specified the duration of this special launch offer. The handset comes in Midnight Blue, Prism Silver, and Waterfall Blue colour options.

The new Samsung Galaxy M34 5G smartphone will go on sale starting July 15 through the company website and on Amazon as part of the upcoming Amazon Prime Day Sale.

Samsung Galaxy M34 5G specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy M34 5G runs on Android 13-based One UI 5. Samsung is promising up to five years of security updates and four years of OS upgrades for the handset. It features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel has Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well. The handset is powered by a 5nm Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. 

For optics, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G has a triple rear camera unit, led by a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with 120-degree field of view and a third sensor. For selfies and video chats, there is a 13-megapixel camera at the front. The camera setup comes with different video and photography features including monster shot 2.0, nightography, and a fun mode. 

The Samsung Galaxy M34 5G offers up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. 

Samsung’s Galaxy M34 5G is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that is said to deliver up to two days of battery life on a single charge. The battery unit supports 25W fast charging.

Samsung Confirms Launch of New Galaxy M-Series Smartphone in India on July 5

Samsung is gearing up to launch a new Galaxy M-series smartphone in India on July 5. The company on Wednesday teased the handset through a social media post without revealing the moniker. The upcoming device is being speculated to be the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G. The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity SoC under the hood. It is expected to come in three colour options and two storage variants. It could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support as well.

Through a teaser video on Twitter, Samsung announced the arrival of a new Galaxy M-series smartphone in the country. As per the post, the handset will be launched at 12:00pm IST on July 5. Although the company has not confirmed the moniker yet, it is largely being speculated that the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy M13 may break cover soon.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy M13 5G had leaked multiple times in the past. The smartphone earlier appeared on the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) certification database with the model number SM-M135M. It is expected to come in Blue, Brown, and Green colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G is said to feature a 6.5-inch full-HD+ LCD display with 269ppi pixel density. The smartphone could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The handset is expected to get a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is tipped to offer the Virtual RAM feature. The storage also could support expansion (up to 1TB) via a microSD card.

Past leaks suggested a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the handset. For selfies, there could be a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy M13 5G is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
