Nothing Phone 1 and Google Pixel 6a will be sold at a discounted price during the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2022 sale. The pricing for the handsets has been revealed by the e-commerce platform ahead of the sale, via a banner on Flipkart’s website. The upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days 2022 sale will begin soon, but the dates for the sale are yet to be announced. It is worth noting that Nothing announced a price hike for the Nothing Phone 1 in August for all variants of the handset, which was launched in the country in July.

Nothing Phone 1 price will start at Rs. 28,999 during the Flipkart Big Billion Days 2022 sale. The Google Pixel 6a will be available for a starting price of Rs. 27,699. It is worth noting that these are the effective prices after discounts and offers have been applied while purchasing the two smartphones.

Flipkart will offer a 10 percent discount on ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank card transactions during the sale, which has been accounted for in the above mentioned prices. The e-commerce platform announced the discounted prices via a banner on its website. Flipkart Big Billion Days 2022 sale will go live soon. The online retailer is yet to reveal a specific time frame, during which the sale will be live.

The Nothing Phone 1 is currently listed on Flipkart with a starting price of Rs. 33,999. On the other hand, the Google Pixel 6a is listed with a price tag of Rs. 43,999. Nothing Phone 1 price in India for all variants was recently hiked by Rs. 1,000.

The Google Pixel 6a was launched in May this year at the Google I/O event. The Nothing Phone 1 was launched in India in July for a starting price of Rs. 32,999.

Nothing Phone 1 specifications

Nothing Phone 1 is a dual-SIM (nano) handset. It sports a 6.55-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 402 ppi pixel density, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. The front and rear panel feature Corning Gorilla Glass protection as well. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage.

The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. At the front, the Nothing Phone 1 gets a 16-megapixel selfie camera. For connectivity, it sports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and GPS support. It features a USB Type-C port for charging, and is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery with 33W wired charging support.

Google Pixel 6a sports a 6.1-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Google Tensor SoC, coupled with a Titan M2 security coprocessor, 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. For optics, it features a dual rear camera setup with a 12.2-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary lens.

At the front, the Google Pixel 6a sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera. For connectivity, it gets 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth v5.2 support. The handset also features a USB Type-C port for charging. It packs a 4,410mAh battery with fast charging support.

Google Pixel 6a and Pixel Buds Pro truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds will go on sale in India for the first time today (July 28) via Flipkart. Both smartphone and earbuds were unveiled alongside Pixel Watch in May during Google’s I/O event. The Google Pixel 6a is powered by the company’s in-house Tensor SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Customers can purchase the handset in three distinct colour options. The earbuds come with active noise cancellation (ANC) support and have a dedicated transparency mode.

Google Pixel 6a, Pixel Buds Pro price in India, launch offers

Price of Google Pixel 6a in India has been set at Rs. 43,999 for the sole 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It can be purchased in Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage colour options.

The new Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds cost Rs. 19,990. The earbuds were unveiled in four distinct colours — Charcoal, Coral, Fog, and Lemongrass. As mentioned, both the smartphone and earbuds will be available for purchase in the country via Flipkart starting today.

Flipkart is providing an instant discount of Rs. 2,250 on purchases of Google Pixel 6a using Axis Bank cards. The e-commerce website is providing EMIs starting at Rs. 1,504 and up to Rs. 1,000 cashback for purchases via Kotak Bank credit cards. There are exchange discounts up to Rs. 19,000 as well. Customers can grab Google Nest Hub Gen 2, Pixel Buds A Series, or Fitbit Inspire 2 for Rs. 4,999 when purchased along with the Pixel 6a. Also, buyers can enjoy a three-month trial of YouTube Premium and Google One free with the device.

The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Google Tensor SoC and a Titan M2 security coprocessor, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The camera unit in the Pixel 6a includes a 12.2-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Google phone packs 128GB of inbuilt storage and carries an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication. The smartphone packs a 4,410mAh battery as well.

Google Pixel Buds Pro specifications

The Google Pixel Buds Pro TWS earbuds have active noise cancellation (ANC) support and offer a dedicated transparency mode that allows users to hear ambient sound. They feature capacitive touch sensors and have support for multipoint connectivity that allows pairing with multiple devices at the same time.

There is Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity on Google Pixel Buds Pro and they can be paired with any Bluetooth v4.0+ device. The earbuds have an IPX4 splash-resistant build and the case has IPX2 splash-resistant design. The charging case supports USB Type-C for wired charging and Qi wireless charging. The charging case supports fast charging to deliver up to one hour of listening time with five minutes of charging. They offer a total listening time of up to 31 hours (without ANC).

Google Pixel 6a With Tensor SoC, Always-on Display, Dual Cameras Launched: Price, Specifications

Google Pixel 6a was launched at Google I/O — the company’s annual developer conference — on Wednesday. The smartphone is powered by the company’s in-house Tensor processor and a Titan M2 security coprocessor, paired with 6GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 6a sports a 6.1-inch display with always-on support. It is equipped with a 12.2-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is claimed to offer over 24 hours of battery life, and up to 72 hours backup with an included extreme battery saver mode. A more affordable model when compared to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 6a will also get a minimum of five years of security updates, according to Google.

Meanwhile, Google also teased the design of its upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones arriving later this year, with the next generation of its Tensor SoC, an aluminium camera module, and Android 13. The company also revealed that it is working on a Pixel branded tablet that will also be powered by Google’s processor, expected to launch in 2023.  

Google Pixel 6a pricing, availability

Google Pixel 6a is priced at $449 (roughly Rs. 34,800). The smartphone will be sold in Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage colour options and will be available for pre-order in the US starting July 21, according to the company. The company is yet to announce pricing and availability for the Google Pixel 6a in other markets, including India. However, the company has confirmed that the Pixel 6a will indeed make its way to India, later this year.

For photos and videos, the Google Pixel 6a comes with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 12.2-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture lens, and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens. For selfies and video chats, the Google Pixel 6a features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The rear camera offers up to 4K video recording at 30fps while the front camera offers up to 1080p video recording support at 30fps.

Google Pixel 6a comes with 128GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor, along with a an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Google has provided a 4,410mAh battery on the Pixel 6a that comes with fast charging support.

Pixel 7 series, Pixel tablet teased

At the Google I/O keynote event, the company also teased the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro — its upcoming flagship smartphones that are set to arrive later this year. The smartphones will be powered by the next generation of Google’s Tensor SoC, and will run on Android 13 out-of-the-box.

Google also briefly showed off the smartphone’s design, including the bar-shaped rear camera module, which will be made of aluminum, instead of glass like the current Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models. For photos and videos, the Pixel 7 will feature a dual camera setup, while the Pixel 7 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup.

Alongside the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the company also announced that it is working on an Android-powered tablet that is expected to launch in 2023. Google’s Senior Vice President of Devices and Services Rick Osterloh revealed that the tablet will be powered by a Tensor SoC. Other details of the tablet are expected to be revealed in coming months.
