Woman killed after refusing to have kids with boyfriend: Cops

A San Antonio man allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend after she told him she did not want to have his baby, according to police.

Adam Byrd, 23, has been charged with murder for gunning down his girlfriend, Jade Alyssa Alvarez, 22, just days after he robbed a store at gunpoint, according to local reports, which cited an arrest affidavit.

Alvarez’s dead body was found with multiple gunshot wounds on Capitol Avenue around 6:30 a.m. on April 6, according to KSAT.

A woman who had been with Alvarez the night before the shooting told police the victim had been dating Byrd.

He had been talking to Alvarez on the woman’s phone and asked for her to be dropped off on Capitol Avenue, where she was found dead hours later, KENS5 reported

Byrd at the time had an active Bexar County arrest warrant for two counts of aggravated robbery from the stickup earlier in the month.

After being taken into custody this week and questioned about the robbery, Byrd admitted to police that he had killed Alvarez over an argument about how he wanted to have a child with her, but she did not.

Adam Byrd has been accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend after she said she didn’t want to have a baby with him.

He also admitted to using the same gun to kill her as the one he used during the robbery, according to the affidavit.

Stripper Tierah Miller attacked ex with cash wad, police say

A disgruntled Florida stripper was arrested last month after she allegedly hurled a “large amount of rolled up money” at her co-worker’s head.

Tierah Miller, 29, and her accuser — a 34-year-old man that she had previously dated for six months, both work at the Baby Dolls strip club in Clearwater, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Smoking Gun.

The alleged cash attack happened inside the club on Feb. 26 at 11:55 a.m. — a week after the couple had called it quits, the complaint said.

When the man “attempted to walk across the stage to speak to another co-worker,” Miller purportedly hurled a “large” wad of cash at him, striking him in the back of the head, the report stated.

Miller was slapped with a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, according to the complaint — which noted that she appeared to be sober and the attack did not draw blood.

“Been there. Done that. Warned you,” the “Fancy” rapper — whose real name is Amethyst Kelly — tweeted Tuesday after news of her ex’s detainment surfaced.

“Imagine having a pregnant girlfriend and pretending they don’t exist until it comes out [that] you like to abuse them too,” she wrote in a follow-up tweet.

Azalea, 32, then alleged that Carti — whose real moniker is Jordan Carter — “rarely” visits their 2-year-old son, Onyx, because he’s “running from whatever problems ya got going on in Atlanta & the press with your serial abuse of woman (sic).”

Ana Walshe told judge husband Brian Walshe was ‘taught to lie’

Less than two years before she went missing, missing Massachusetts mom Ana Walshe told a judge that her husband Brian Walshe suffered from an “ever-present” trauma and had been “taught to lie and hide” in his childhood.

The admission was buried in a glowing September 2021 letter she wrote a judge asking to consider giving her husband a lenient prison sentence for committing art fraud.

Brian, who was arrested this week in connection to his wife’s disappearance, admitted that year to selling two fake Andy Warhol paintings to an eBay buyer for $80,000. He is still awaiting sentencing for that crime.

While praising Brian for supporting their family of five and participating in charity work, Ana claimed that he suffered a traumatic childhood at the hands of his abusive parents that affected him through his adult life.

“He was taught to lie and hide. He was told that he was a loser, that his parents should not have had him, that he had no chances of making anything of himself in life, and that he was a lost cause. A deep sense of shame governed his life,” Ana wrote.

Ana wrote that Brian had a difficult time allowing others to get close to him, including his wife, because he was “afraid of relationships.”

In the years before writing the admiring letter about her husband, Ana told Washington, DC police that he had threatened to kill her and her friends. Brian was never charged with the threats.

Brian, who Ana claimed had a “big heart” and was the “love of her life,” was arrested Sunday and charged with misleading police during their investigation into his missing wife.

Ana had vanished on New Year’s Day. She never boarded a flight to Washington, DC that Sunday, but Brian didn’t report the mother of his three children missing for three days.

Ana Walshe was last seen at her house in the early mornings of Jan. 1, 2023.

Police found blood in the family’s basement and a blood-stained, damaged knife. They also discovered a hacksaw, a hatchet, blood, used cleaning supplies and a rug at a trash transfer station in Peabody, a little more than an hour away from the couple’s home.

Brian had also reportedly searched for “how to dispose of a 115-pound woman’s body” online.

‘That’s So Raven’ star Orlando Brown arrested for domestic violence

Orlando Brown was arrested in Ohio on Thursday for misdemeanor domestic violence.

The “That’s So Raven” alum was apprehended after the Lima Police Department “got a call about a fight in progress,” according to TMZ.

The outlet reported on Friday that the actor’s alleged altercation was with a family member or another person living in the home, noting that Brown has been in Ohio for more than one month.

The arrest comes four years after the 35-year-old made headlines for an intervention-style interview with Dr. Phil McGraw.

The arrest took place in Ohio on Thursday, according to TMZ.
Allen County Sheriff’s Office

The “Dr. Phil” appearance came at the end of a tumultuous year for Brown, in which he was arrested in nearly every other month of 2018 for charges ranging from burglary and drug possession to resisting a public officer and domestic battery.

He also made headlines for getting his former co-star Raven Symoné’s face tattooed on his chest in May of that year.

In September 2018, the rapper spent time in jail after pleading no contest to trying to change the locks on his friend’s restaurant doors and possessing narcotics.

Brown was arrested multiple times in 2018.

The “Proud Family” alum wore snake-eye contacts while speaking to McGraw about his time behind bars, claiming that he was “locked [up] for no reason and set up.”

Brown went on to say that he didn’t want to “dedicate another 90 days” to treatment for his addiction struggles away from his family.

The “Family Matters” alum explained at the time that he aimed to “jump back into that life” of fatherhood and “figure out who everybody is.”

However, he gave the talk show host different names and ages for his brood throughout the conversation, also saying he had a 2-year-old “on the way” in wife Danielle Brown’s stomach.

Earlier this year, the songwriter reflected on the December 2018 interview, sharing his apologies and thanking McGraw for “opening the door to show people that actually think they don’t need help to go get help.”

He went on to tell Cam Capone in August that he has been “on the hideout” ever since the viral conversation, saying, “I’m just waiting to die at this point. But realistically, I have goals.”

Leila Al Raheel found decapitated in her Philadelphia home: cops

A Philadelphia man is facing murder charges after investigators say a woman was found decapitated inside her home on Tuesday.

Philadelphia police discovered the body of Leila Al Raheel on the floor of her home on Magee Avenue around 12:45 p.m., the Philly Voice reported. They were initially called to the scene for a domestic incident.

The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office later confirmed that Ahmad Shareef, 34, had been arrested on charges of murder, possession of an instrument of a crime, and abuse of a corpse. He remains in custody and is not eligible for bail.

Neighbors told FOX29 that Shareef, who is believed to have been Al Raheel’s romantic partner, was known for peculiar, sometimes troubling behavior.

“The older I got, the more I could see something was wrong in that house,” resident Gabriel Ramirez told the outlet. “There are young girls in that house and I don’t know what they’ve had to endure their whole lives.”

Police said that no children were home at the time of the confrontation.

“Constant, constant drama for this house,” neighbor Nyjha Richardson told the network. “[Shareef] is unhinged and he’s terrifying and I’m very happy that now he’s not around but I’m disgusted it took this much.”

The Philadelphia Police Department and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for a comment.

Suspect in Queens triple homicide reveals grisly details on slays: sources

The Queens man accused of fatally stabbing three female relatives provided grisly details of the triple slaying while being grilled by NYPD detectives in Virginia — and now awaits extradition to the Big Apple, law-enforcement sources said Monday.

Jabari Burrell, 22, waived his Miranda Rights and gave cops specific details on how he killed each of his victims, including a 65-year-old woman who died futilely trying to shield her wheelchair-bound 26-year-old stepdaughter, sources said.

Burrell allegedly stole the older woman’s 2004 Toyota Sienna after the Springfield Garden murders Friday and drove to Virginia, where he was nabbed Sunday when the vehicle ran out of gas on I-95.

An NYPD spokesman said police have begun the process to bring Burrell back to Queens.

“He’s waiting to be extradited, and charges remain pending at this point,” the rep said.

A representative for the Queens District Attorney’s Office said Burrell is facing three counts each of first-degree and second-degree murder and will also be charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Burrell is accused of fatally stabbing Hyacinth Brown-Johnson, 65, her 47-year-old daughter, Latoya Gordon — who is the suspect’s aunt — and Brown-Johnson’s stepdaughter, Patrice Johnson, cops said.

Police said three women were stabbed to death in their Queens home Friday.

Sources said the deadly rampage erupted after Burrell was smoking marijuana in the house and got into an argument — then snapped and turned on the women.

An alert was put out for the suspect after the crime, and Virginia State Police arrested him when his car conked out on the highway and notified the NYPD.

A rep for the Virginia State Police Department referred all questions about the case to the NYPD.

Delphi murder suspect Richard Allen involved in 2015 incident

Before Libby German an Abby Williams were murdered in Delphi, Indiana, local sheriff’s deputies responded to the home of accused killer Richard Allen over a “domestic” incident.

Officers with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office were sent at around 3:30 a.m. on June 18, 2015, to the home of Richard and Kathy Allen, according to records obtained by the station Fox 59.

Sheriff Tobe Leazenby said Allen, a dad-of-one CVS technician, was allegedly drunk, and his wife took him to a hospital for a medical evaluation.

According to the sheriff, responding deputies’ role during the incident was to “keep the peace,” and no arrests or charges followed.

Until his arrest last week on two counts of first-degree murder, Allen, 50, had no prior criminal record.

He has now been charged with two counts of murder related to the deaths of German, 14, and her friend Williams, 13, on Feb. 13, 2017, while the girls were taking a walk along the Monon High Bridge Train in Delphi.

Allen — who is being held with no bond — has pleaded not guilty ot the charges and will go to trial in 2023.

The girls’ bodies were discovered the following day half a mile from the trail. Their causes of death have never never been made public and prosecutors have deliberately withheld details of the case from the public to aid their investigation.

A video captured by Libby German on the day she and Williams were killed showed a man walking near them along a trail.

A grainy video recovered from Libby German’s phone showed a man in a blue jacket walking along the railroad bridge. In the audio accompanying the footage that was released by cops, a man’s voice is heard saying: “down the hill”. Only nine seconds of the 43 second video were released by cops.

Evidence against Allen worker has also been temporarily sealed to avoid jeopardizing the case, according to the police.

The Post reported Wednesday that plainclothes officers conducted a day-long search of Allen’s property about 10 days before his arrest, which came as a shock to those who knew him.

A fire pit in Richard Allen’s backyard in Delphi, Indiana, attracted the attention of law enforcement searching the property.
William Farrington

Neighbors said the officers spent about 12 hours scouring the property and paying an especially close attention to a fire pit located next to a shed in the yard.
