Victor Wembanyama led the struggling San Antonio Spurs (5-25) to a rare 118-105 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers (8-22), snapping a five-game losing streak.
Wembanyama’s stat line included 30 points, six rebounds, six assists, and seven blocks. The No. 1 draft pick’s 30-point outing marks the third time this season he has reached this scoring milestone.
Despite Scoot Henderson’s commendable effort with 25 points, the Trail Blazers couldn’t overcome the Spurs’ early dominance.
