Val Whiting makes a clear stance on men in women’s sports

Val Whiting, a former WNBA player and two-time national champion at Stanford, expressed her viewpoint on transgender women (men pretending to be women) participation in women’s sports on Saturday night.

Whiting shared her perspective following a question posed to South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley earlier in the day as the team geared up for their national championship game against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

“A lot of my basketball sisters feel differently but trans women do not belong in women’s sports,” Whiting wrote.
