Bella Hadid Wore the Non-Jeans Trend That’s Great For Travel

Stop what you’re doing and pay attention, because #BellaIsBack and it’s nothing to take lightly. Any loyal Bella Hadid fan will tell you that the supermodel has been steering clear of the public eye for quite some time now, so her being spotted in New York City outside of her sister Gigi’s NoHo apartment on Wednesday is kind of a big deal. No, actually, it’s a huge deal. And her impeccable—seriously, no notes—outfit for the occasion only emphasized the moment’s importance.

For the rare sighting, Hadid chose a very ’90s, model-off-duty type of ensemble, opting for a trench coat, black turtleneck, and stretchy, black flared leggings (or as I like to refer to them, yoga pants). Accessorizing like a pro as always, she added a checker-print tote-style shoulder bag, F/W 99 Prada boots, and DMY by DMY wire-rim sunglasses. Bella Hadid Already Wore the Spring 2024 Capri Pants Trend

We’re only halfway through fashion month, and yet, one trend is already shaping up to be the favorite of the entire calendar: capri pants. The not too short, not too long bottoms made a surprising comeback during New York Fashion Week, with appearances at Tory Burch, Phillip Lim, Mirror Palais, and Sandy Liang. And already, we’ve gotten a glimpse at the style’s first celebrity endorsement.

This week, Bella Hadid was spotted on a helipad in Manhattan after arriving in the city alongside her brother Anwar. For the trip, she chose an oversize men’s button-down shirt, a white tank top, satin Miu Miu ballet flats, and *the* trend of the spring/summer 2024 runway season, a pair of white capri pants. On the accessories front, she added a burgundy satchel, a Y2K headband, and thin hoop earrings.

It should come as no surprise that the supermodel is the first to take the formerly outdated capri-pants trend out for a test drive. After all, she’s known for her love of early-aughts styling and testing the boundaries when it comes to street style. And now that they have her stamp of approval, there’s no question about it: Capri pants are back. Accept it. Scroll down to see her travel outfit and shop the trend before it blows up.
