Pricing for the company’s new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series — comprising two Galaxy Tab models with up to 12.4-inch displays — in the country, along with the new Samsung Galaxy Buds FE truly wireless stereo (TWS) headset that supports active noise cancellation (ANC), was also announced by Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE price in India starts at Rs. 59,999 for the default 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage model. Customers will be able to avail of bank offers to reduce the price of the handset to Rs. 49,999. It is available in Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Purple colour options.

Meanwhile, pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is set at Rs. 36,999 (5G: Rs. 44,999) and Rs. 47,999 (5G: 55,999) for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB RAM and storage configurations, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE costs Rs. 46,999 (5G: 54,999) and Rs. 56,999 (5G: 64,999) for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models, respectively. Both tablet models will be sold in Gray, Lavender, Mint, and Silver colourways, and customers can avail of a bank cashback offer worth Rs. 5,000 or an upgrade bonus worth Rs. 3,000 to lower the price of these devices.

You can purchase the Galaxy Buds FE at Rs. 9,999 in India, in Graphite and White colour options. It will be available for purchase in India with a Rs. 2,000 discount, starting on October 5 and deliveries will begin on October 7 via Amazon, Samsung’s online store and retail outlets across the country.

Launched in global markets earlier on Wednesday, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE sports a 6.4-inch Dynamic full-HD+ AMOLED 2X display and runs on either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or the Exynos 2200 chip. The handset has a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 10-megapixel selfie camera. The handset packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.

Samsung’s new FE-branded Galaxy Tab series comprises two models, the regular Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. These tablets are equipped with 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) LCD displays, respectively. They are powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You get two 8-megapixel rear cameras on the Plus model and both tablets feature 12-megapixel selfie camera.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are one of the company’s most affordable TWS earphones — with ANC support — to date. You get support for touch controls, and the earphones offer up to six hours of playback with ANC on, and 21 hours when counting the battery inside charging

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ were launched on Wednesday as the company’s latest additions to its ‘Fan Edition’ device series. Both tablets are also available in cellular variants that are able to connect to 5G networks. You can buy the tablets in Gray, Lavender, Mint, and Silver colour options.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are priced at EUR 109, and the earphones will be available in Graphite and White colour options.

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ run on Android 13-based One UI 5.1. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ sport 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch WQXGA (2,560×1,600 pixels) LCD displays, respectively. Both displays have a 90Hz refresh rate, according to Samsung.

An Exynos 1380 chipset from Samsung powers the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. While the former is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the Plus model comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Storage on both models can be expanded (up to 1TB) via a MicroSD card slot.

For photos and videos, both tablets are equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera setup — the Plus model has another 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, as well as a 12-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and wired data transfers. The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE TWS headset sports a design that appears somewhat similar to its previous Galaxy Buds Plus model with the wing tips. However, they come with one feature that the older model lacked — ANC support.

The FE-branded Galaxy Buds headset offers support for touch controls and supports Samsung’s feature that allows it to switch between devices automatically. The wireless headset has an IPX2 rating for splash resistance, which means it should survive light splashes of water. 

 According to the company, you get up to six hours of battery life with these earphones when ANC is enabled and a total of 21 hours, including the charging case. The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE supports both SBC and AAC audio codecs, suggesting it would work well with iOS and Android smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Tab S9 FE+ Price, Specifications Leaked; Said to Get Exynos 1380 SoC

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are expected to launch soon. As the name suggests, the purported models are said to be Fan Edition models of the Galaxy Tab S9 series that was unveiled earlier in the year. The Galaxy Tab S9 lineup includes the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Several leaks and reports have suggested key features of the upcoming tablets. A new report now hints at the price points and some important specifications of the tablets.

Tipster Roland Quandt (@rquandt) states in a WinFuture report that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE could launch in Europe starting at a price of EUR 529 (roughly Rs. 46,400), while the Tab S9 FE+ could be priced at EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 61,300). The report added that the 5G variants of the tablets could cost EUR 100 (roughly Rs. 8,800) more than the base price.

As per the report, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE could come with a 10.9-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,304 x 1,440 pixels, and the Plus model could get a 12.4-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Both tablets have also been tipped to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1380 SoC.

The tablets are also said to launch in two storage variants each. The base Galaxy Tab S9 FE is expected to come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ could be offered in 8GB +128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants. The tablets are also likely to support microSD card storage expansion.

Expected to ship with Android 13-based One UI 5.1 OS, both Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are tipped to support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity. The tablets may also get an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The Plus model may also support a S Pen (stylus).

For optics, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are said to be equipped with 12-megapixel sensors in the front. The base model is expected to feature an 8-megapixel sensor at the back, which is tipped to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the Plus variant. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is likely to pack an 8,000mAh battery, while the Plus variant could be backed by a 10,090mAh battery, according to the leak.

The South Korean tech giant is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ before the year is out as toned-down alternatives to the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Ahead of their official unveiling, European pricing of the Fan Edition (FE) tablets has leaked online. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are expected to be powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset.

As per a report by SamInsider, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will have a price tag of EUR 549 (roughly Rs. 49,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ could cost EUR 749 (roughly Rs. 66,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The vanilla model is said to sport an 11-inch display, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ will reportedly get a 12.4-inch display.

For comparison, the Galaxy Tab S9’s price starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 65,000), while the Galaxy Tab S9+ carries a starting price tag of $999 (roughly Rs. 82,000). The top-end model, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, has an initial price tag of $1,999 (roughly Rs. 1,63,000).

As per a past leak, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE would be priced at Rs. 65,000 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model with 5G connectivity in India. The Wi-Fi variant could be priced at Rs. 63,000. If this pricing turns out to be true, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets would be more expensive than the OnePlus Pad (Rs. 37,999) and Xiaomi Pad 6 (Rs. 26,999).

The Fan Edition tablets are expected to debut as an affordable alternative to the Galaxy Tab S9 series. Both Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are said to run on Exynos 1380 chipset. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is tipped to feature a single rear camera, while the Plus model would reportedly feature a dual rear camera setup. The tablets are also said to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
