Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Key Specifications Leak Again; Price, Colour Options Also Tipped

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is expected to be introduced in the market soon as a successor to the Galaxy A34 5G, which was unveiled in March 2023. The handset has previously been tipped to launch alongside the Galaxy A55 5G on March 11. Some of the features of both handsets, including purported design, colour options and expected specifications, have been leaked before. The company has yet to confirm any details about the upcoming phones. A new report has now reiterated some of the specifications of the Galaxy A35 5G and also suggested its price and colour variants.

An Android Headlines report, citing collaboration with tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks), suggested that the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is likely to be unveiled in mid-March alongside the Galaxy A55 5G, backing earlier leaks.

The report added that the 6GB RAM option of the Galaxy A35 5G is expected to be priced in Europe at EUR 389 (roughly Rs. 35,000), while the 8GB variant could be listed at EUR 459 (roughly Rs. 41,300), noting that the prices may vary by about EUR 20 (roughly Rs. 1,800) depending on the country. The phone is also tipped to arrive in four colourways — Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lemon, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy.

The report also claims that the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is expected to feature a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by an in-house Exynos 1380 SoC paired with RAM options of 6GB and 8GB alongside onboard storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The storage is also said to be extendable up to 1TB via microSD card. It is also said to ship with Android 14-based UI.

For optics, the triple rear camera unit of Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is likely to get a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. The front camera of the phone is likely to carry a 13-megapixel sensor.

The report adds that Samsung is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery into the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G with support for 25W wired fast charging. The handset is also said to carry an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The body of the model is expected to measure 161.7mm x 78mm x 8.2mm in size and weigh 209g.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G Design, Key Specifications Leak Via Google Play Console Listing

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is expected to launch soon as the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, introduced in March last year. The phone has surfaced online multiple times over the past few weeks. It has now reportedly been spotted on Google Play Console, with the listing detailing the design of the purported handset and some key specifications, including processor and operating system details. Previous leaks of the smartphone have also shown the design and even suggested the colour options it may arrive in.

A MySmartPrice report claims to have spotted the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G with the model number SM-A356E on Google Play Console. The listing suggests that the handset may be powered by an in-house Exynos 1380 SoC paired with an ARM Mali G68 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It also suggests that the phone may ship with Android 14-based OneUI.

The listing also shows the design of the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G model which is seen with a flat display with slim bezels and a centred hole-punch slot at the top to house the front camera sensor. The screen is expected to have a 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and 450 dpi. The key island bump seen in earlier leaks is also seen in this render. 

Previous leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G may launch in Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy colour options. It is expected to measure 161.6mm x 77.9mm x 8.2mm in size and be 78.5mm wide around the key island bump. 

The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is also likely to sport a 6.6-inch 120Hz full-HD+ display and carry a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. Samsung Galaxy A35 Live Image Surfaces Online; Key Island for Power and Volume Buttons Revealed

Samsung Galaxy A35 details have surfaced online on more than one occasion over the past few weeks. The company has not yet confirmed the model, but recent leaks suggest that it is likely to launch soon as a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G which was unveiled in March last year, with considerable upgrades and design improvements. Design renders of the handset have leaked online previously. Some key features of the purported handset have also been tipped. Now a live image of the Galaxy A35 has been spotted on a Korean website.

A live image of the Samsung Galaxy A35 has surfaced (via SamMobile) on Korea’s Radio Research Agency (RRA) website. The phone with the model number SM-A356N is seen in a navy blue colour option with a triple rear camera system alongside an LED flash unit. The right edge of the handset is seen with a key island that houses the volume rocker and power button similar to the Samsung Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A15.

This lines up with previous leaked design renders of the Samsung Galaxy A35 which also showed the key island for the handset’s buttons. The leak showed the phone in three colour options, tipped to be marketed as Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. The three rear camera units are placed in three separate round units arranged vertically in the top left corner. It is said that the handset would likely measure 161.6mm x 77.9mm x 8.2mm in size and be 78.5mm wide around the key island bump.

The Galaxy A35 is expected to carry a plastic frame and a flat hole-punch display with rounded edges. It could come with a 13-megapixel front camera sensor, similar to the preceding model. However, the back camera system is likely to get an upgrade with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, alongside an 8-megapixel, and a 5-megapixel sensor.

Notably, another variant of the Samsung Galaxy A35 with the model number SM-A356U was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone will reportedly be equipped with a 6.6-inch 120Hz full-HD+ display and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.

Now some new renders of the phone have leaked online suggesting the design and the colour options. The purported model is said to succeed the Samsung Galaxy A34, which was unveiled in March 2023. The new leak also suggests a few camera specifications of the handset. The launch timeline for the Galaxy A35 still remains a mystery.

A report in Android Headlines has leaked the design renders of the Samsung Galaxy A35. The renders show the handset in three colour options – blue, lilac, and navy, tipped to be marketed as Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. The design of the phone seen in these renders is similar to the ones that appeared in an earlier leak.

The phone is seen with rounded corners, a flat display with slim side and top bezels, and a relatively thick chin. There is a centre-aligned hole-punch slot at the top of the panel for the front camera. The screen is said to be 6.6-inch in size.

The back panel of the Galaxy A35 5G appears to have a triple rear camera unit placed in a similar vertical alignment as seen on the preceding Galaxy A34 model and many other 2023 Samsung models. The three camera units are placed in vertically arranged separate circular slots in the top left corner. The brand name is engraved towards the base.

Further, the right edge of the Galaxy A35 5G is seen with a slight bump where the volume rocker and power button are placed. The report adds that the handset is likely to measure 161.6mm x 77.9mm x 8.2mm in size. If the frame bump is taken into account, the handset is said to measure 78.5mm in width. No other specifications about the smartphone were hinted at in the report. More details can be expected closer to the launch of the handset.

Samsung’s Galaxy A34 5G was launched in India in Black, Light Green, Light Violet, and Silver colour options. The 6GB + 128GB of the phone is listed at Rs. 26,999, while the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs. 28,999 and Rs. 30,999, respectively.
