Brett Baty is up from the minors to the Mets. Aaron Hicks is getting booed off the field for the Yankees. Shohei Ohtani is in The Bronx taking on the Yankees this week.

A lot is going on in New York baseball.

One team the Yankees are used to playing in big series is the Houston Astros.

Their GM Dana Brown was this week’s guest on “The Show” with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman.

‘The Show’ Podcast with Joel Sherman & Jon Heyman:

  • BATY CALLED UP: The Mets called up Brett Baty Monday. Was this the right move? Mets have more bats in the minors. The Mets minor league system is above average.
  • YANKEES HITTERS: Josh Donaldson getting booed by Yankees fans. Aaron Hicks also getting booed. Should Hicks get benched? Shohei Ohtani in NYC this week playing the Yankees.
  • BAD STARTS: Going through some teams off to a bad start and whether people should be concerned. Phillies off to a rough start and pitching has been bad. Is the Cardinals’ 7-10 start concerning at all?

Dana Brown Interview:
Astros GM

  • SLOW START: Not concerned at all. Have a good rotation and are dealing with injuries. Not worried about Jose Abreu’s slow start.
  • INJURIES: Michael Brantley will play in games in the minors next week. Jose Altuve is getting better. They are optimistic about his return.
  • ALTUVE/BREGMAN: No talks of an extension yet. Probably would happen in the offseason. Both players love it there. Thinks they will get both guys done. Hope is that they both retire there.
  • INTERVIEWS: Mets were his first interview. Embraces the analytics side.
  • DUSTY BAKER: How long will he be manager? “He will make some decisions on the field that we don’t understand.” Dusty is the type of man that will go with his instincts. He has a phenomenal relationship with the players.

Diplo has gotten blow job from guy, is ‘not not gay’

Diplo doesn’t want to “define” his sexuality — but he says he’s “not not gay.”

The DJ told Emily Ratajkowski in Tuesday’s episode of her “High Low” podcast that he isn’t “aroused by men that much,” though he noted, “I’m sure I’ve gotten a blow job from a guy before. … For sure. 100 [percent], yeah.”

The model, 31, then asked Diplo, 44, whether he had a “specific memory,” to which he played coy.

“I’ve gotten a lot of blow jobs, but I don’t know,” he said. “I mean, getting a blow job is not that gay, I think.”

Ratajkowski laughed, saying, “I don’t know. You tell me?”

When the music producer asked what they had been speaking about before the subject of his sexuality, the “My Body” author deadpanned, “Bill Clinton.”

Ratajkowski was the first to bring up Diplo’s sexual orientation early into the episode.

“We should talk about what you said to me last night, which is that you’re a little gay,” she recounted.

“You want to cut right into that?” he asked. “I was really into the social media [questions].”

Diplo said getting oral sex from another man is “not that gay.”

As they continued to speak about TikTok and Instagram, Diplo, whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz, mentioned the “sexy” woodchopping men often featured on his feed.

“They’re hot guys. I don’t know if that’s gonna be the thing that’s gonna send me over to the gay side totally,” he joked, asking whether TikTok “tell[s] you that you’re gay.”

Ratajkowski confirmed, saying, “I was on lesbian TikTok for a while, and it was like, ‘OK. Insightful.’”

Diplo added that he could see himself with a male “life partner.”

She brought “it back to [him] being gay” later in the interview, calling the possibility “exciting.”

The “Gone Girl” actress said, “You should be happy. … I could just be talking to you only about your relationships to women. I like that you’re a little flexible.”

Diplo clarified that he doesn’t “want to define that [he’s] gay,” adding, “I think the best answer I have is I’m not not gay. There are a couple guys … I could date, life partner-wise.”

The Grammy winner is partial to “vibe … over gender.”

After saying he is “more of a vibe guy … over gender,” the Grammy winner spoke about how “the temperature of our culture has changed” with men being more “fluid.”

He explained, “[When I was young], you had gay kids at school and gay cousins or whatever, but it was different than it is now. I thought it was, like, weird to be gay.”

Diplo has publicly been in relationships with Katy Perry and M.I.A. over the years.

He shares sons Lockett, 13, and Lazer, 9, with Kathryn Lockhart, as well as son Pace, 2, with Jevon King.

In 2019, Diplo responded to speculation about his sexuality via Twitter, calling masculinity a “prison.”

Three years prior, he tweeted that he was “only half gay.”

Rachel Bilson didn’t orgasm from sex until she was 38

Rachel Bilson is not afraid to admit that her first orgasm from sex was a bit belated.

The actress told her “Broad Ideas” podcast listeners in Monday’s episode that she didn’t climax during intercourse until the age of 38.

“Isn’t that crazy?” she asked her guest, Whitney Cummings.

The stand-up comedian was the one to kick off the candid conversation, explaining to Bilson that she first orgasmed from sex after getting off birth control within the last year.

“I could do it with my hands whenever,” Cummings, 40, clarified.

Bilson, 41, chimed in, “Of course, yeah. But not from, like, d–k inside.”

“Isn’t that crazy?” the “Broad Ideas” podcast host asked her listeners.

While the “O.C.” star did not detail her experience, Cummings went on to describe the NSFW “perfect combination” that led to her own orgasm.

“He had a straight dick, and I’ve been told my uterus was tilted,” the “Unforgettable” star explained. “And to me, sex always feels best when you’re on your period.”

When Cummings noted that she hears “a lot of women say they don’t [orgasm from sex] until after they have a kid,” Bilson, who is the mother of an 8-year-old daughter named Briar, replied, “Maybe.”

The “Hart of Dixie” alum often speaks about her sex life on her podcast, saying in July 2022 that she grew up in a “sex-positive and free” household that made her feel more “open talking about things.”

The “Hart of Dixie” alum dated Hayden Christensen on and off for nearly 10 years.

As far as her current relationship status, Bilson most recently sparked dating rumors with artist Zac La Roc.

She was previously linked to “Saturday Night Live” alum Bill Hader and former “Bachelor” Nick Viall in 2019.

In addition, Bilson dated her “O.C.” co-star Adam Brody from 2003 to 2006 as well as her “Jumper” co-star Hayden Christensen on and off from 2007 to 2017.

Bilson shares an 8-year-old daughter with Christensen.

She and Christensen, 41, got engaged before ultimately calling it quits.

The former couple now co-parent Briar, with Bilson telling People in June 2018 that remaining amicable has been “tricky.”

She explained, “Most important for me is that Briar is OK and secure and stable. No matter what I’m dealing with or how much it hurts or how much anger there is, it’s just about her.”

Peter Madrigal ‘dismissed’ signs of Tom Sandoval, Raquel affair

For “Vanderpump Rules” star Peter Madrigal, hindsight is 20/20.

Madrigal — who went on a few dates with co-star Raquel Leviss around the start of her secret romance with Tom Sandoval — admitted he overlooked signs that the two were hooking up behind Sandoval’s girlfriend Ariana Madix’s back.

“I kind of dismissed it,” the SUR general manager, 38, explained in Monday’s episode of the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast.

Madrigal said he “saw some things” but thought to himself, “‘Sandoval is loyal to Ariana. He would never do something like that.’”

The Bravolebrity noted that he did not want to “get into details about what [he] saw” between Leviss, who waits tables at SUR, and Sandoval, whom he considered to be a close friend.

“Vanderpump Rules” star Peter Madrigal recalls seeing “some things” between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss amid their affair.
“I kind of dismissed it,” Madrigal admitted of the signs.

Madrigal called the duo’s months-long affair “a shocker,” mostly because he “thought [he] knew Sandoval.”

The restaurateur repeatedly expressed how “disappointed” he is in his former pal, adding of Leviss, “I thought she was a good person, but then again, I hardly knew her.”

Madrigal also wondered whether the former beauty pageant queen, 28, had agreed to go out with him those handfuls of times as a “ploy” or “distraction” for her dalliance with Sandoval, 40, which Page Six reported “began last summer.”

Madrigal thought to himself, “‘Sandoval is loyal to Ariana [Madix]. He would never do something like that.’”

Though he started to develop genuine feelings for her, Madrigal recalled noticing “a separation” while pursuing Leviss, saying things “got weird.”

“I think in the back of my mind, there was something else going on, which is now confirmed,” he shared. “She was already picking her next target.”

Follow Page Six’s coverage of ‘Scandoval’:

During the March 1 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Leviss described Madrigal as a “starting pony” for getting back into the dating game after calling off her engagement to co-star James Kennedy in December 2021.

Who the hell are you to call me a starter pony?” Madrigal fired back in his chat with Yontef. “Like, OK, all right, cool, awesome. Well, you’re a home-wrecker.”

The SUR general manager repeatedly expressed how “disappointed” he is in Sandoval.

He also issued her a stark warning: “Raquel, watch out because, in nine years, [Sandoval’s] probably gonna leave you for someone else.”

Despite his strong feelings toward the secret lovers, the reality star does have some sympathy for Sandoval’s best friend-turned-business partner, Tom Schwartz — even though many believe he had knowledge of the pair’s illicit romance.

“I’d hate to be in his position right now,” Madrigal said. “I love Schwartz, and I’d hate to be in his shoes right now.”

“I thought she was a good person,” Madrigal said of Leviss.

Madix, 37, dumped the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman on March 1 after discovering a sexually explicit video of Leviss on his phone.

Bravo has since begun filming again, with sources telling us the drama will play out at the end of the show’s currently airing 10th season.

“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Jets bench Zach Wilson feat. Darrelle Revis

Getty Images (2)

The only thing Zach Wilson will be holding Sunday is a clipboard.

Robert Saleh and the Jets coaching staff decided on Wednesday to bench the struggling quarterback. He doesn’t belong as the team’s starting QB and does not give the Jets the best chance to win games in the middle of a playoff race. Mike White deserves the shot right now and maybe we see Wilson again at some point this season. The 23-year-old out of BYU needs some tough love after his play and lack of accountability and the Jets are now giving it to him.

Oh yeah, and Darrelle Revis is going in the Jets Ring of Honor Sunday.

So why not react to the Wilson news and chat with Revis all in one? The Jets legend was our guest on a new “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello and me. Revis talks about getting in the Ring of Honor, potentially getting in the Hall of Fame one day, Sauce Gardner, Rex Ryan, his career, and more. Tune in to the podcast below or subscribe to “Gang’s All Here” wherever you get podcasts.

Gang’s All Here Podcast with Jake Brown & Brian Costello:

  • JETS BENCH ZACH WILSON: This was the right decision. After how bad his play was and his lack of accountability, you could not trot him out against the Bears Sunday. Mike White will get the chance to start at least Sunday and potentially beyond. Wilson will be inactive and Joe Flacco is the backup.
  • JETS QB SAGA: How long will White get as the starter? Will Wilson get another shot this year? What does this mean for the future at QB? Jimmy Garoppolo would be the perfect fit here.
  • JETS-BEARS PREVIEW: It is finally happening…Coz is taking the Jets! I’m riding with him and we both are going with a score of 30-20. It is looking more and more like Justin Fields may play, which makes this a more intriguing game, but the Bears’ defense is terrible and the Jets should be able to take advantage, get to 7-4 and be right back in the playoff seeding.

Darrelle Revis Interview:
Jets legend, Jets Ring of Honor, Patriots Super Bowl champion, future Hall of Fame cornerback

  • THE 2015 JETS/YOUR RETURN: Beating the Patriots was special. A lot of record-breaking seasons from guys on that team. It was a great group of guys.
  • JETS RING OF HONOR: Excited to get in on Sunday, but there’s a lot of butterflies. Happy and humbled for it and appreciate to be in the Ring of Honor with other greats.
  • HIS DRIVE: Nobody practiced harder. Coming from a steel mill town, blue collar, tough people, tough neighborhood. Made that my DNA and who I am, not allowing a catch in not just the games, but in practice.
  • TODAY’S GAME: Too old to play now if he were asked to come back. The game seems more fun today with technology and media outlets and different feeds. Packed on a few pounds, might look more like a linebacker today.
  • YOU AND REX: Our relationship was very close. It was like playing chess for Rex Ryan. He let his skillset evolve playing for him. Never had a closer bond like the one with Rex. “He was a coach and a friend.”
  • TRADED TO BUCS: Wanted to stay with Jets. Didn’t want to go to Tampa Bay, but that’s how it worked out. Had loyalty to the Jets for drafting him. Hope was to bring a second championship to the Jets.
  • HALL OF FAME: It would mean the world to me. Would love to see his name in that group of guys.
  • SAUCE GARDNER: Think he can be a great cornerback in this league. I see the “it” factor in Sauce. We would love to have him in the Jets Ring of Honor one day.

Spotify Updates Anchor App With ‘Audio Enhancement’ Feature for Podcast Recording

Spotify, the music and podcast streaming service, is rolling out a dedicated ‘Enhance’ button for voice isolation on its Anchor app. The feature is aimed at podcast creators, and is called ‘Audio Enhancement’. it is designed to enhance audio quality and let podcast creators record with clear audio even in a noisy environment. This will eliminate the need for expensive audio equipment to record a clear audio or podcast, Spotify says, adding that the feature brings the user’s voice to the forefront by eliminating background noise.

The service announced the rollout of the feature via a blog post stating that users can activate the new feature by tapping a button in the Anchor app. To enhance the audio while recording in a noisy environment, you can press the ‘Enhance’ button to improve audio quality.

The Anchor app will also allow you to toggle the feature on and off during playback, according to Spotify. You can compare the results when you record it with the feature disabled and as well as enabled on the same track.

Spotify isn’t the first company to introduce a voice isolation feature — services like Google Meet and Zoom also offer similar features using AI for isolate voices without expensive microphones. These features are handy when taking meetings in crowded environments.

According to Spotify, Anchor users around the world can now access the Audio Enhancement feature on Android and iOS for free. You can update to the latest version of the app and tap the magic wand icon at the corner of the screen to enable the feature while recording, and toggle it on and off as required.

I was treated like a ‘bimbo,’ ‘objectified’ on ‘Deal or No Deal’

Meghan Markle “[broke] down ‘The Bimbo’” with Paris Hilton in the latest episode of her “Archetypes” podcast.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, opened the episode reminiscing on her “fascinating” experience as a briefcase girl on “Deal of No Deal” while she was pursuing acting, a few years before landing her role in “Suits.”

The former actress appeared on Season 2 of the show in 2006, and while she acknowledged that she was “grateful” for the job, she felt she was valued for all the wrong reasons.

Markle would be on set for the game show and think back to her time as a college intern at the US Embassy in Argentina, where she was “being valued specifically for my brain.”

“Here, I was being valued for something quite the opposite,” she said about “Deal or No Deal.”

“There was a very cookie-cutter idea of precisely what we should look like,” Markle added, sharing that girls would like up at tapings for different stations where they would put on lashes, get extensions put in or get padding in their bras — and they even received spray tan vouchers every week.

“It was solely about beauty, and not necessarily about brains,” the Duchess said.

Markle shared one detail she would “never forget,” when one producer on the show who couldn’t pronounce her last name would scream, “Mar-kell suck it in!” repeatedly.

She ended up quitting the show, revealing she was “thankful for the job, but not how it made me feel, which was not smart.”

“I was surrounded by smart women on that stage with me but that wasn’t the focus of why we were there,” Markle said.

“I would end up leaving with this pit in my stomach knowing I was so much more than what was being objectified on the stage,” she continued. “I didn’t like feeling forced to be all looks and little substance. And that’s how it felt for me at the time being reduced to this specific archetype.”

For the episode, Markle interviewed Paris Hilton, who she says “built an entire brand out of being the dumb blonde,” about “The Bimbo” stereotype — after admitting she was “the most nervous” for this interview because she held a judgment toward the 41-year-old socialite.

“While I’m embarrassed to admit it, I had a judgment about Paris, and I don’t like having judgment doesn’t feel good,” Markle said later on in the episode when speaking just to the audience. “But I had to be real about that because when I grew up, she was beautiful, rich and famous. ‘What could possibly be wrong with her life?’ I would think.”

“And because my entire sense of self-confidence was wrapped up in being the smart one and not the pretty one, I found the way to project all of my judgment and envy on to her,” she continued. “Envy can be a very dangerous thing as can judgment. I was ashamed to admit that I harbored either of those feelings…I’m sorry for having judged her. I didn’t know her.”

The Duchess shared that it was hard for her to think about what she would talk about with Hilton when so much of “The Simple Life” star’s identity “was about not leaning into being smart.”

Hilton shared she was playing the role of “dumb blonde,” while her co-star Nicole Richie was the troublemaker.

“I almost got stuck and lost in the character and at some point it’s like lines got blurred and I forgot who I was,” Hilton said. “And it makes me sad because I used to be such a free spirit, not so closed off, and I think with so many things that happened to me during the years I just closed off in a way in my mind and I wish it didn’t happen. Going through trauma affects you.”

“For me, when you say it’s sad… I think it’s so sad you don’t even get the opportunity,” Markle responded. “It makes me emotional thinking about it — you don’t get the opportunity to start to think about the woman you want to be with a blank slate.”

When defining the word “bimbo” with Hilton, the Duchess admitted she wanted “higher aspirations” for her one-year-old daughter Lilibet.

“I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on this idea because when I hear the word bimbo, I have a very negative connotation to it,” she told Hilton.

“I don’t see that as an aspirational thing for a woman, I want our daughters to aspire to be slightly higher. I want my Lili to want to be educated and want to be smart and to Pride herself on those things.”

J.R. Smith says he’s being ‘blackballed’ by NBA: ‘100 percent’

J.R. Smith feels that he’s been “blackballed” from the NBA.

Smith, 36, hopped on a Complex Sports interview with Pierce Simpson to unveil his feelings.

When asked if he feels he’s been “blackballed” from the NBA, Smith let his emotions run loose about the topic.

“100 percent. Anybody can sit here and tell you that that’s a fact,” he said. “Give the four through 15th men, just the four through 15. Name one of them that’s better than me… I’ve watched their GM come up to me and ask me, ‘Why are you not playing?’”

Smith notched a Sixth Man of the Year trophy with the Knicks in 2013 and won two titles as a prominent role player during his 16 years in the NBA.

But the ex-NBA guard became well-known for his blunder of passing the ball in the waning seconds of Game 1 of the 2018 NBA Finals instead of putting up a shot.

After the mistake, he played a total of 17 NBA games. He now plays college golf for North Carolina A&T State University and was named the college’s academic athlete of the year.

Smith added on the podcast that he’s not alone in getting blackballed, that other players such as Joe Johnson, Jamal Crawford and Nick Young have been ostracized from getting a contract, too.

“You know why I’m not playing,” Smith said in the interview. “I feel that it’s a whole genre that [it has] happened to.”
