iQoo Z7 5G India Price, Colour Options Tipped Ahead of March 21 Launch

iQoo Z7 5G will be launched in India on March 21, but ahead of its release, pricing and colour options of the phone have been tipped online. The upcoming iQoo 5G smartphone is said to come in two colour options and two RAM and storage configurations. The iQoo Z7 5G could offer up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as standard. It is expected to be priced below Rs. 20,000. The iQoo Z7 5G is confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC under the hood. It is teased to run on FunTouch OS 13 and carry a 64-megapixel OIS camera system. It supports 44W flash charge as well.

As per a report by 91Mobiles, iQoo Z7 5G will be launched in India in 6GB, and 8GB RAM options with 128GB storage as standard. The handset could be priced at Rs. 17,000 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is said to be offered in Norway Blue and Pacific Night colour options.

The iQoo Z7 5G is expected to succeed the iQoo Z6. The predecessor was released in India in March last year with a starting price tag of Rs. 15,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It is available in Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black colours.

The iQoo Z7 5G is scheduled to go official in India on March 21 and it will be available for purchase on Amazon.

The iQoo Z-series smartphone is confirmed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC. It will run on FunTouch OS 13 and carry a 64-megapixel OIS camera system. The iQoo Z7 5G will come equipped with 44W flash charge technology that is claimed to charge the device from 1 percent to 50 percent in just 25 minutes. It is teased to feature an AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication.

iQoo Z6 5G Variant in Development, Could Feature 80W Fast Charging Support: Report

iQoo Z6 5G series was launched in India in March this year. Now, the Chinese smartphone brand is said to be working another model in the lineup, with 80W charging support. The company’s iQoo Z6 5G features 18W fast charging support, while the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G supports 66W FlashCharge. Other details, including pricing and availability are currently unknown. The iQoo Z6 5G that made its debut earlier this year is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, and packs a 5,000mAh battery.

According to a report by CNMO, iQoo could be working on a new smartphone in the iQoo Z series. It is said to be a variant of the iQoo Z6 5G. As previously mentioned, the rumoured handset could support 80W fast charging, which is an upgrade over the 18W fast charging support on iQoo Z6 5G, and 66W FlashCharge on iQoo Z6 Pro 5G. The report also added that the rumoured smartphone could be powered by a Snapdragon 7 series chipset.

To recall, the iQoo Z6 5G was launched in India in March. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. It features a 6.58-inch display with full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The iQoo Z6 5G also features up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

For optics, the iQoo Z6 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. At the front, it gets a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery. As mentioned above, the iQoo Z6 5G supports 18W fast charging.

The iQoo Z6 Pro 5G was launched in India in April this year. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a relatively smaller, 4,700mAh battery. As previously mentioned, the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G features 66W FlashCharge support.
