Sights and sounds from Day 7 of New York Giants’ training camp
The New York Giants wrapped up their seventh practice of training camp on Thursday and it proved to be a bounce-back day for the offense, who took a beating earlier in the week. Save for a couple of throws, quarterback Daniel Jones looked solid and connected on a few deep balls with Malik Nabers and Jalin Hyatt.
The defense, led by linebacker Bobby Okereke and undrafted rookie defensive back Alex Johnson, also had a few notable plays.
Head coach Brian Daboll revealed before practice that rookie safety Tyler Nubin (calf) and nose tackle Dexter Lawrence (illness) would return to practice, while center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder) remains out.
With Schmitz out, newly-signed Greg Van Roten saw time at center and rotated out to guard. Jon Runyan Jr. was once again in at left guard with Aaron Stinnie at right guard. Jermaine Eluemunor stayed outside at right tackle.
Here’s a look at some of the sights and sounds from Thursday’s practice.
