The Liverpool Echo report that Liverpool want £15 million for Williams.

But also Jurgen Klopp’s side are happy to keep their academy graduate if they do not receive such offers.

He has already made 33 appearances for the club and would compete with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The player will understandably be keen to be playing regular football ahead of the World Cup.

He played a key role in helping Wales defeat Ukraine on Sunday and reach their first World Cup in 64 years.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are also closing in on the signing of Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay.

Should the Merseyside club complete a deal, Williams would almost certainly leave Anfield this summer.
