Like the majority, Giannis Antetokounmpo already holds a special regard for Victor Wembanyama.

In the teaser of the upcoming episode of ‘How Hungry Are You?’ by Serge Ibaka, Antetokounmpo was asked about his thoughts regarding Wembanyama.

The two-time MVP can only hurl praise for the young talent, as well as a cryptic warning for the whole NBA once the French wunderkind enters the gates of the league soon.

“When this kid comes, get ready. If you’re not ready, this kid is going to be a problem,” Antetokounmpo said, via BasketNews. “I’ve never seen this before in my life. I saw him up close, he was on the same team as my brother Kostas.”

“He’s taller than Rudy Gobert but he can block shots like Rudy and shoot like KD. Crazy. And he has a good attitude,” the Milwaukee Bucks superstar continued. “If he stays healthy, he’s going to be really good.”

Standing at seven-foot-three while possessing an out of this world combination of immense shooting, skilled ball handling, and rim protection, Wembanyama already managed to storm the basketball world with noise, absorbing highly praises from players and experts for being a generational prospect.

Last October, he put up a spectacular show for the first time in American soil, displaying his godly characteristics in front of thousands of ecstatic fans, scouts and players in back-to-back exhibition games of his Metropolitans 92 against the G League Ignite.

Slated to enter the next year’s NBA Draft, he created raucous and controversial buzzes about the tactics of tanking by some of the rebuilding teams this season. It only shows that these clubs intend to potentially sacrifice this campaign and bet on themselves just to acquire his coveted service with the help of a high lottery odds.

With the NBA Draft still plenty of months away, all fans can only hope that he will maintain his healthy status and  ultimately reach his sky high potential.
