In a birthday showdown, LeBron James faced an infuriating twist as the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-106, with controversy surrounding a critical play.
Amid a tight game, with 2.3 seconds left and the Lakers trailing 107-104, LeBron executed what seemed to be a game-tying three-pointer.
However, the referees, after a replay review, controversially deemed it a two-pointer, leaving the Lakers down by one.
Taking his frustration to Instagram, LeBron posted a screenshot proving his feet were beyond the three-point line, vehemently contesting the officials’ decision.
