Karl Anthony-Towns can only feel dreadful about his current standing with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as they are now down 3-0 against the Denver Nuggets in their first-round series.

“I mean, just losing. Losing hurts. Doesn’t matter if it’s the playoffs or not, it hurts,” said Towns in his postgame, per team reporter Dane Moore. “Tonight just hurt a lot. Tough. Tough night.”

Towns squeezed himself after a rubbish first two games of the series, dropping 27 points and seven boards. Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards led the way with his 36-point explosion, as Rudy Gobert got a good performance Friday night of having 18 points and 10 boards.

Amid the collective performance of the trio, they now find themselves holding in a tightrope and on the brink of postseason elimination.

The history of the NBA Playoffs has been daunting for teams that are down 0-3 on every best-of-seven series, but Towns and the Wolves will continue to fight until the end heading to Game 4 on Sunday.
