Patrick Williams is set to undergo surgery, ending his season

The Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams is set to undergo surgery on his injured left foot, leading to his absence for the rest of the season.

Initially diagnosed with a bone edema, recent imaging revealed a progression of his foot stress reaction. Williams’ last appearance was on January 25.

Selected as the No. 4 overall pick in the 2020 draft, he has experienced a mix of highs and lows during his four seasons with Chicago, displaying promising two-way potential alongside periods of inconsistency.
