Jordan Poole says he was “kind of” prepared to get traded
The Warriors signed Jordan Poole to four-year, $128 million extension prior to the 2022-23 season, but decided to move the player to the Wizards this summer before the extension was in effect.
In a recent interview Poole revealed that he was aware that something is going to happen – which it did the same day.
“I talked to my agent draft day – a lot of moves happen on draft day,” the 24-year-old shooting guard said. “Just kind of was prepared that something would happen. I just got a call and trade went down later that day.”
