Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Teaser Hints at Key Locations, ‘Full Reveal’ Coming in Summer 2024

As part of this year’s Dragon Age Day, EA and BioWare have published a special Dragon Age: Dreadwolf teaser that reveals a short look at the next era of its fantasy RPG series along with a promise to show off a full reveal in summer 2024.

The video is just shy of a minute long and mostly pans over geographical locations on a map, Game of Thrones-style. However, spliced between these purple-grey pictures are brief shots of what seem to be in-game environments that range from shadowy cities to sun-kissed beach towns that have nearly crumbled away.

Specifically, it seems the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf “Thedas Calls” teaser shows off three visually diverse areas: Antiva, Rivain, and Anderfels (which appears to have something to do with the Grey Wardens, a faction familiar to fans of the games). BioWare shared more about these lands in a post on its website. The team boasts that this entry has “many more locations than past games, including both some you’ve longed to go to…and some you’ve never heard of before!”

To help paint a better picture of how Thedas will give players more places to adventure through, the developers teamed with community artists, giving them a sneak peek at what’s in store. The collaboration resulted in a trio of art pieces from Gabriela Isache, Nipuni, and Solelle that each feature a different perspective into new wrinkles in the Dragon Age universe.
