Damian Lillard files for divorce from wife, Kay’La
Damian Lillard, now part of a new team, is undergoing a significant life change as he recently filed for divorce from his long-time partner, Kay’La. TMZ Sports has confirmed that the 7-time All-Star submitted the official documents earlier this week in Oregon.
Lillard and Kay’La have a history dating back to their time as students at Weber State, and they remained together ever since. They officially tied the knot in September 2021 and have three children together.
The filing by Dame cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the “irremediable breakdown” of their marriage, according to Willamette Week.
It’s noted that the two have been living separately for the past 10 months, with Kay’La relocating to a $2.7 million home in West Linn, while Damian Lillard continued residing in their $7.7 million residence in the same city.
