What Happened to Lori Vallow’s Kids: Buried Remains and a Silent Mom
Per NBC News, Madison County Prosecutor Rob Wood said via Zoom at Daybell’s June 10, 2020, court hearing that the “manner of concealment” of one of the bodies was “particularly egregious.” The complaint alleged the remains had been in the yard since sometime between Sept. 22, 2019, and June 9, 2020.
To this day, neither Chad nor Lori has offered any explanation as to how the kids ended up buried in his yard.
“This whole process is really hard,” Colby Ryan, Lori’s son from her second marriage and Kylee’s half-brother, told East Idaho News in June 2021 after Chad had joined Lori in pleading not guilty to murder. “We’ve all had to go through it but he’s going to say what he’s going to say. He’s going to lie about it. From the beginning, they have lied about it. So, there’s nothing you can do about it.”
Last August, however, Chad’s children told 48 Hours that they believed their father was innocent of the three murders, including their mother’s. Daughter Emma Murray alleged that Chad was framed; when asked by who, she replied, “I think it’s pretty clear it was Lori and Alex.”
Yet by all accounts, Lori had maintained her loyalty to Chad since their arrest.
