Wendell Carter Jr. to undergo finger surgery

The Orlando Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr. is slated to undergo surgery to mend a fractured finger, resulting in a minimum three-week absence from the court.

The injury, sustained on Thursday night, specifically affects the third metacarpal on his left hand.

The 24-year-old, who has been contributing an average of 9.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season, faces a temporary hiatus due to this setback.
