The Knicks still own the Cavs
The New York Knicks maintained their dominance over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite the Cavaliers’ efforts for revenge after the playoffs, they presented a weakened lineup and fell short against the Knicks in a 109–91 Halloween matchup at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and Julius Randle collectively scored 72 points, and according to the Knicks, the game’s momentum shifted during a third-quarter timeout and a traditional Tom Thibodeau timeout conversation.
“We started the third quarter terrible, really lackadaisical and then we picked it up,” Jalen Brunson said. “Thibs got on us and we just turned it around.”
