Joe Amabile — AKA “Grocery Store Joe” — and Serena Pitt got married Thursday at New York City’s City Hall.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” couple stunned fans when they posted an Instagram video of their nuptials nearly one year before their original wedding day next September.
“JUST MARRIED !!” Pitt and Amabile captioned their joint announcement on Thursday. “We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!”
The lovebirds also shared a full one-minute and fifty-second video of the ceremony — which Natasha Parker, who co-hosts the podcast “Click Bait” with Amabile, filmed as their witness — on their YouTube channel.
In the video, fans could see the legal presider asking them to say “I do” as they held hands and wore face masks.
After they were pronounced legally married, the couple tore off their masks and embraced each other with a hug and several kisses.

Neither Pitt, 25, nor Amabile, 26, went with traditional wedding attire. The bride wore a cream long-sleeve top with black leather pants and black boots, while the groom wore a navy quarter zip sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
“We have always known marriage was in our future, it just looked a little bit different than we expected,” the couple told People on Thursday.
Pitt and Amabile added that they’re “already planning” their wedding next year, but they wanted a “private moment just the two of us” that “felt so special and intimate.”
Bachelor Nation immediately flooded the couple’s post with sweet comments.
“Congrats you two!!!! (For the record I’m ALL about getting married 2x)❤️❤️❤️,” host Jesse Palmer, who had a second wedding to Emely Fardo in France two years after eloping in Connecticut, commented.

The “BIP” success story got engaged on Season 7 of the hit show filmed in summer 2021. They initially dated long-distance until moving in together in New York City this March.
Prior to their relationship, Amabile dated Kendall Long for more than a year after meeting on Season 5 of “BIP.” Pitt competed on Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor” but infamously dumped him.

On Sunday, instead of watching his former team’s season opener, Palmer, 43, will be traveling to Los Angeles to shoot the live two-part “Bachelorette” Season 19 finale airing Sept. 13 and 20 on ABC.
The Canadian native was hired as the franchise’s host in 2021 after Chris Harrison, who was at the helm since “The Bachelor” premiered in 2002, stepped down in controversy after he defended a “Bachelor” contestant pictured at an Antebellum-themed college party.
In 2004, when Palmer became the first professional athlete to star as “The Bachelor,” which was still a new TV concept, he gave his teammates the play-by-play.
“As you can imagine, we had a lot of fun with that,” said Palmer, who also works as a college football analyst for ESPN.

The popular franchise keeps bringing football players back to star as leading men and contestants and he understands why.
“I think football players have a lot of personality. I think they feel comfortable in their own skin,” he said.
And like Bachelor Mansion, an NFL locker room can be a powder keg of emotion.

“You can’t even imagine how much drama there is,” he said.
Although he did not find lasting love on national TV, he did discover it over a decade later in Manhattan — marrying Brazilian model Emely Fardo in 2020. He first laid eyes on her in a boxing class at Rumble on West 23rd Street in Chelsea.
“I was trying to talk to her the day I met her, but I missed my chance and then she liked a photo of mine on social media … and then I technically made the first move and direct messaged her,” he said. “But she didn’t answer me back for 10 days; she slow played me.”

The couple, who just moved to Miami Beach with their Aussie Doodle Mademoseille Loulou Palmer, “would love to have children” and have been talking about “potentially getting another dog.”
When asked if he would want his kids to be on the dating franchise or play football, Palmer said, “I’d have to ask the boss. I’m super open to everything. I’d be down for both, but I don’t know what the boss would say.”

In addition to heath and fitness, the 24-year-old has a passion for acting and has starred in projects like “Called To Duty: The Last Airshow,” “Terminator 2 remake with Joseph Baena: Bad to the Bone” and “Bully High.”
The actor, 43, is best known for portraying Teddy Montgomery on “90210,” and making history as the show’s first and only LGBTQ+ character that was a series regular.
His casting comes one season after former co-star Lori Loughlin’s youngest daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, competed and placed eighth with pro Val Chmerkovskiy.
The “CODA” star, 32, has already proved he’s a force on the big screen, but will his acting chops translate to the dance floor?
With help from his pro partner, we have no doubt Durant will compete for his righteous spot on the leaderboard. In addition to starring in the Oscar-winning film, Durant’s other credits include “Switched at Birth,” “You,” and “Silent Notes.”
If the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy Award-nominated comedian’s previous work is any indication of success, the rest of the cast should be prepared to step it up.
His own accomplishments aside, the “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” star, 50, is paired with the pro who won Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro, who is returning to the show to co-host with Tyra Banks. We have a feeling the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum may already be rooting for Brady and Carson to take home the win this season.

His impressive resume includes a combined 25-year career on WABC-TV and “Good Morning America,” along with work at the Weather Channel and Eyewitness News.
Champion, 61, is also the recipient of a Peabody Award and multiple Emmys. Mix that with Burke’s two “DWTS” wins and we’ve got ourselves a solid partnership.
The TikTok star, 18, will be paired with the fan-favorite veteran dancer, who is returning as a pro for the first time since Season 25. Ballas previously won the mirrorball with Kristi Yamaguchi (Season 6) and Shawn Johnson (Season 8).
In addition to what will surely be a legendary partnership, Charli and her mom’s joint appearance on the show will mark the first time a mother-daughter duo has competed against each other for the coveted trophy.
While the D’Amelio matriarch, 50, will always support her daughter, fans can still expect some friendly competition between the pair.
“It would be nice to have some smack talk, but she is also still my mother,” Charli teased on “GMA,” adding that she hopes to include “a nod” to her TikTok moves this season.
Season 31 kicks off Monday, Sept. 19 on Disney+.ABC
As previously reported, Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Len Goodman will be back at the judges’ table this season. The show will also see the return of a full troupe, featuring dancers like Ezra Sosa, Kateryna Klishyna and “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 17 winner, Alexis Warr.
