Realme Pad 2 will be launched in India in a Wi-Fi only variant soon. The company confirmed the launch date and revealed a few key specifications of the upcoming model. Notably, the Realme Pad 2 with LTE support was unveiled in the country in July 2023. Both LTE and Wi-Fi variants are likely to have identical features apart from the titular connectivity element. Realme is also gearing up to introduce a new lineup of smartphones in India, namely the Realme P1 5G series, alongside the tablet.

In a press note, Realme confirmed that the Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant will be launched in India on April 15 at 12pm IST alongside the Realme P1 5G lineup. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Realme India website. A landing page for the tablet has revealed the design which appears to be the same as the LTE version. The Wi-Fi variant is teased to launch in the similar Inspiration Green and Imagination Grey colourways. 

The company also confirmed that the Realme Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant will be equipped with an 11.5-inch 2K (2,000 x 1,200 pixels) display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 450 nits of peak brightness level, blue light protection and 85.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is confirmed to get an 8,360mAh battery with support for 33W wired SuperVOOC charging.

Although the company has not yet revealed the price of the Realme Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant, it is likely to be priced lower than the LTE version, which launched in India at Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB + 128GB option, while the 8GB + 256GB variant was listed at Rs. 22,999.

The Realme Pad 2 LTE variant comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It ships with Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0. The tablet supports features like multi-screen collaboration, screen mirroring, dual windows, spilt screen, and a smart sidebar. It also carries an 8-megapixel AI-backed rear camera sensor.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE Launch Set for April 11, Teased to Get 1.5K 8T LTPO Display

Realme is all set to unveil the Realme GT Neo 6 SE later this week. The Chinese smartphone brand has posted multiple teasers on its social media handle to reveal the design and specifications of the upcoming phone. It has also started accepting pre-reservations for the Realme GT Neo 6 SE via its official online store in China. The Realme GT Neo 6 SE is teased to come with an 8T LTPO OLED screen and a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC.

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE will launch on April 11. The launch event will be held in China at 2pm local time (pm IST), as per a teaser poster shared (in Chinese) by the company on Weibo. Realme is also teasing the design and specifications of the handset via a dedicated landing page on its website. The handset is also up for pre-orders in China. It is seen flaunting a slightly curved display with minimal bezels, a hole punch cutout in the centre, and a dual-tone back panel.

Realme GT Neo 6 SE is confirmed to feature BOE’s 8T LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a mind-blowing peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The display will offer up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The screen also has Greenfield AI eye protection and AI gaming eye protection. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC alongside LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The gaming-focused Realme GT Neo 6 SE is claimed to deliver 59.5 frames per second while playing Genshin Impact. It is said to come with a three-dimensional cooling system with nine layers of heat dissipation materials and a 10014mm square double-layer vapour chamber area. For optics, it will get a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS).

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE will come with improvements over the Realme GT Neo 5 SE. The latter was released in April last year with a starting price tag of CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 24,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE sports a 6.74-inch 1.5K display with 144Hz refresh rate and runs on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. It has a triple rear camera unit led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone houses a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

Realme P1 5G Series India Launch Set for April 15; Price Range, Key Features Revealed

Realme P1 5G series India launch date has been revealed. The lineup will include the Realme P1 5G and a Realme P1 Pro 5G. The company has revealed some key features of the upcoming handsets ahead of its official unveiling and also hinted at their price range. Earlier today, Realme Vice President Chase Xu teased the launch of the new P series lineup of smartphones. Notably, the company recently launched the Realme 12X 5G in the country.

Product pages for both the Realme P1 5G and Realme P1 Pro 5G have gone live on the Realme India website. The handsets are confirmed to launch in India on April 15 at 12pm IST. The company previously confirmed that the upcoming lineup is designed specifically for the Indian market and will be available for purchase in the country exclusively through Flipkart.

The Realme P1 5G is confirmed to be priced under Rs. 15,000 in the country. It is claimed to be the first smartphone in the segment to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with 2,000 nits of peak brightness level and TUV Rheinland eye-protection certification. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC and will carry a seven-layer VC cooling system.

Meanwhile, the Realme P1 Pro 5G will sport a 120Hz curved AMOLED display with 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness level, ProXDR support, and TUV certification. It is set to be listed in the country at under Rs. 20,000. Equipped with a 3D VC cooling system, the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. 

The Realme P1 Pro 5G will also be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. The phone will also get a tactile engine and the Rainwater Touch feature, which allows people to use the screen even in rain or with wet hands. More details about the handsets are expected to surface closer to the launch.

Realme GT Neo 6 Key Specifications Leaked; Said to Get Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC

Realme is reportedly working on a Realme GT Neo 6 model, although it has not been officially confirmed yet. The handset has previously been spotted on certification sites. Realme GT Neo 6 SE will launch in China soon. Although the company has yet to announce the specific launch date, it has confirmed several features of the upcoming handset, including processor and display details. Recently, a leaked design render and a live image of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE surfaced online, suggesting the design of the awaited smartphone. Now the design of the model has been spotted on a certification site. It has also reportedly appeared on a popular benchmarking platform.

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE with the model number RMX3850 has been listed on the TENAA certification website, which shows the design of the handset, according to a MySmartPrice report. The design appears similar to the ones that leaked previously. The front panel is seen with a curved display and the right edge appears to hold the power button and volume rockers.

Seen in a dark grey/black shade, the dual rear camera and the LED flash units of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE are placed within three circular slots arranged in a triangular manner. These are placed in the top left corner of the back panel within a rectangular camera module spanning edge to edge, in a slightly darker shade.

The aforementioned report also mentioned that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE with the model number RMX3850 appeared on the Geekbench listing. The phone was seen with Android 14-based UI, an octa-core chipset paired with an Adreno 732 GPU and 16GB of RAM. It scored 1,389 and 3,960 points in the single-core and multi-core benchmarking tests, respectively.

Realme C65 Design, Colour Options Revealed; Confirmed to Launch on April 4

Realme C65 is confirmed to be unveiled soon. The new phone will likely succeed the Realme C55, which was introduced in March 2023, and launch in select Asian markets. A senior company official has revealed the design of the upcoming handset and confirmed some of its features. The handset had previously been spotted on several certification sites which have suggested some specifications. The India launch of the handset, however, has not yet been confirmed. 

Realme Vietnam, in an Instagram post, confirmed that the Realme C65 will launch on April 4. The poster shared in the post showed the upcoming model in two colour options – Galaxy Black and Violet (translated from Vietnamese). The models appear with a shimmering glossy finish that is claimed to offer “a sparkling autumnal look.” In an earlier post teasing the launch of the phone, an image showed the back panel of the handset in a sparking golden hue. This could be a third colour option.

Alongside launching in Vietnam, the Realme C65 will also be available in the Philippines, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Indonesia soon, a note from Realme Vice President Chase Xu confirmed. He added that the phone will also be introduced to other countries and regions soon but did not offer more details. He confirmed that the Realme C65 will be available at retail stores in Vietnam from April 2.

The official also shared a hands-on image of the handset, which shows the back panel sparkling under light. The model is seen with a rectangular camera unit in the top left corner, which houses two sensors and an LED flash unit. The power button and volume rockers appear on the right edge of the phone. The power button is expected to double as a fingerprint sensor.

Realme C65 is also teased to be the thinnest in the segment, as per Xu’s note. The model will come with an AI-Boost mode, and a ‘powerful’ chipset with up to 16GB of dynamic RAM. It is teased to have features like Dynamic Button, Riding Mode, and Smart Code Scan.

The Realme 12X 5G is confirmed to offer 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. It will feature a full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is also teased to run on MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The Realme 12X was initially unveiled in the Chinese market on March 21.

Through a press release, the Chinese smartphone maker announced that the Realme 12X 5G will be priced under Rs. 12,000 in India. It will also support 45W SuperVOOC fast charging.The handset is confirmed to feature a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of peak brightness. It is teased to pack dual speakers and 7.69mm thickness. The phone is said to be the first 5G phone in the sub-Rs. 12,000 price segment to offer a 45W fast charging feature and dual speakers.

Like the Chinese variant, the Indian variant of the Realme 12X 5G is also confirmed to run on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset with VC cooling. It will have a dual rear camera system headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an IP54-certified build. The handset will offer an Air Gesture feature that will let users to navigate through phone without physical contact.

Realme has already announced that the Realme 12X 5G will launch in India on April 2 at 12pm IST. It is confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart and the Realme India website. A dedicated microsite on the e-commerce website and the company’s India website are teasing the specifications of the Realme 12X 5G ahead of launch.

The Realme 12X was unveiled in China earlier this month with a price tag of CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 16,000) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. Realme introduced the Realme 12+ 5G and the Realme 12 5G in India earlier this month with a price tag of Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 16,999, respectively. The former runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset, while the vanilla Realme 12 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G SoC under the hood.
